We needed a last minute cruise and as we booked only 18 days in advance this was the only cruise we could find with a balcony.
We had not travelled with P&O before, though had done a few ship visits at Southampton.
We had no problem with embarkation-within 40 minutes of arriving at the Terminal we were at our cabin. Our luggage followed within two hours.

Mostly a good experience. Great crew, professional and friendly. Food was the only disappointment - like school dinners. A couple of good restaurants available for hefty supplements (dinner at Epicurean attracted an additional charge of £85 for two).
