We love the Azura, this is our second time on her and we had a wonderful trip to Iceland. The food in the main Dining is excellent and though the portions are smaller now than they used to be, I ask, "how much food do you need" we certainly were grateful for the quality and less quantity, we now have less weight to lose before our next cruise. The ports we visited were all different and ...

Lovely ship, lovely cabin, excellent steward, excellent waiting staff, great food (I have a special diet which was well catered for). However, major criticisms : On arrival we were told to report for lifeboat drill at 4 pm, which we and most others did. We then sat in a very crowded restaurant for 1 hour, listening to repeated messages, ‘Sorry to keep you waiting, just waiting for the ...

P&O standards slipping

WE have cruised with P&O several times before, the last time 2 years ago, and how the standards have fallen since then, the food was no where near as good, with the buffet food poor, and portion sizes shrinking, even main dinning room meals were small, however better quality than the buffet. The ship itself looked very outdated in places, with seats in lounges being hard due to the amount of ...

We had a nice relaxing time on our cruise on Azura. We had a 1530 check in time and decided to take a chance and arrived at 1330. We were surprised to find we could join the check in queue straight away as there was no waiting and were in our cabin within 15 minutes. We had a balcony cabin on C deck as we prefer the larger balcony. We were on the port side and seemed to have the most of any sun ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary , having cruised with other cruise companies including Celebrity .Royal Caribbean Princess, but this was our first with P & O. Firstly lets deal with the positives food, entertainment cabin and certain crew members were very good if not for them I would have given just ONE. Sadly, the majority of so called "Hotel " staff were either ...

Baltic cruise review 9th - 23rd June 2018 Baltic Cruise on P & O Azura This was our 3rd cruise with P&O and the second on Azura, first was in 2017 on the return re-positioning cruise in the Caribbean. We are a retired couple of 65 & 63 respectively. I am female. We live an hour from Southampton. This is a long review but I thought it is helpful to be thorough. June is the time of 'White ...

Chose to go on this cruise to determine wether or not we would enjoy it. The result was that we did, and we are looking forward to going on another in the near future. The crew were excellent and the service was worthy of any 5 star hotel that I have stayed at. As for the quality of the food that was excellent as well we couldn't fault it. The portions were more than ample and some nights I found ...

This was a seven day Southampton to Southampton cruise, Embarkation was quite quick and efficient. We were soon on the ship but it did seem to take a while for the cases to come, but it is a big ship with a lot of passengers so it was only to be expected. The ship didn't feel very full, there were a lot of spaces in the MDR and the theatre was never full. The cabin was a good size with a good ...

Staff - couldn't fault the staff for the most part they were exceptionally good. Drinks – P&O don’t do a drinks package other than a buy 20 soft drinks for the price of 19 so those who enjoy a drink run the risk of finding themselves with a high bar bill at the end of the cruise. Swimming pools and recreation activities - P&O have the basics in the form of pools and hot tubs but not much ...
