The Magic was Wonderful

New Years Eve Cruise With Friends~~~~ We flew into Orlando the day before and stayed at The Marriott Lakeside. We loved the shuttle service offered. Call the hotel when you arrive and they send the shuttle! Well, a nice hotel stay and then we arranged an Uber XL for the Port. Very inexpensive considering we had 3 couples. the driver took us to the local grocery store for wine and snacks etc... ...

After reading several reviews of the Magic we weren't expecting a lot from our cruise. That turned out to not be the case. We found the staff on the Magic to be great. Food was okay, actually real good at times. Entertainment okay. Our dining wait staff was wonderful. We've always found that the more fun you have with the staff the more fun you'll have in general. Lines for food weren't bad, after ...

It is true: Don't cruise Carnival if you have ever cruised before.

I had heard all the rumors about Carnival, and they are regretfully true. If you have cruised another line, you will probably be disappointed. The good: 1. The spa was very nice and never crowded. The private access to the gym, spa, and the adults only deck was great. 2. The ships singers/dancers were very good. Be sure to see them perform, and avoid the other shows. 3. Teens ...

This was a nice ship. clean and modern looking. Food was normal cruise ship fare. Servers were good. Entertainment staff was very good! three different shows in a week all very well performed!! Cruise director was not my favorite. He is young and seems as though he is still getting his wheels under him. It was especially disappointing to watch him save so many front and second row seats in ...

I chose this cruise because of the ship itself. I really wanted to try the Guy's Pig and Anchor and the Italian restaurant. I also love the itinerary and it was just the right price for the holidays. I believe some of the services have slipped a bit. Not that they were not good, but a little less than I am used to. I am not sure if I like the American Table. The food is still good - has been ...

Loved the ship and the staff. Typical design - but very clean and pretty. Loved the Cucina del Capitan, the casino and dive in movies. Loved the serenity deck with lots of space - but wonder why does Carnival insist on putting a serenity deck right by the water works where all the kids are and making noise as would be expected? Maybe a design team needs to look at putting this lovely serenity ...

We chose Carnival Magic because we were having a family vacation and thought that the 3 older teenagers would all be together. We made the reservations exactly 1 year ago. Never having been on a Carnival cruise I knew nothing about the teen programs. When we boarded I mentioned to the teens to go and join the program. Unbeknownst to me, one of the teens turned 18, 6 days prior to boarding. ...

If you like standing in line all day, for everything, this is the cruise for you. Getting on the ship, getting on the elevators, getting food, doing laundry, going to a show, you stand in line for everything. The food was good, the staff was mostly helpful and happy and the rooms were always clean. We did find it weird that some of the restaurants were closed more often than open. The BBQ ...

Magical Time on the Carnival Magic

This would be my 15th and I would say best cruise on Carnival yet. Only issue on the cruise were the very rude people when it came to trying to get an elevator. They didn't care how long you were waiting, if they wanted or in front of you they would push your way through. Flew down to Orlando 2 days early and stayed on site at Disney at the Pop Century Resort.. Took in Disney Springs, Disney ...
