We flew into Orlando the day before and stayed at The Marriott Lakeside. We loved the shuttle service offered. Call the hotel when you arrive and they send the shuttle! After reading several reviews of the Magic we weren't expecting a lot from our cruise. That turned out to not be the case. We found the staff on the Magic to be great. I had heard all the rumors about Carnival, and they are regretfully true. If you have cruised another line, you will probably be disappointed.
The good:
1. The spa was very nice and never crowded. The private access to the gym, spa, and the adults only deck was great.
2. The ships singers/dancers were very good. Be sure to see them perform, and avoid the other shows.

Loved the ship and the staff. Typical design - but very clean and pretty. Loved the Cucina del Capitan, the casino and dive in movies. This would be my 15th and I would say best cruise on Carnival yet. Only issue on the cruise were the very rude people when it came to trying to get an elevator. They didn't care how long you were waiting, if they wanted or in front of you they would push your way through.
