Second cruise on Carnival Dream

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

We sailed on Dream Aug 2010 and loved it. So we chose this cruise and booked a cove balcony. The cruise was fun... The shows are the best we have seen bar none. I hope they don't do away with the band and dancers as they are on other ships like Breeze and Freedom. Dream has no Guys Burgers so anyone who says they do is uninformed. They no longer have sushi bar but the taste bar was even better. ...

I just got back from a wonderful Honeymoon cruise with my Wife. We took the Dream out of Port Canaveral on a seven day to Cozumel, Belize, Honduras & Costa Maya. One of the best things about the cruise was the excellent service we received in the dining room (Crimson, Deck 3, Anytime dining). We absolutely love the Bitter & Blanc desert & made the request on Sunday to have the desert every night. ...

My DH and I started cruising in 1999 - he did not want to go and bought a laptop computer to do lesson plans - needless to say he did not do lesson plans and three months later we took 3 of our grown kids and spouses on a Christmas cruise. We enjoy the time together and on one cruise renewed our wedding vows. Cruises are totally relaxing and we even did a cameo appearance on Carnival's VIFP ...

This was my 3rd time on the cruise and my cabin selection 7338 was best location ever. I was right near the mid elevators and it was very quite no noise. I love my balcony especially when coming into ports being on the side to see where you are going into. Our Cabin Steward was excellent. I think the food this time around was good selection has changed a lot on what is offered. We ate mostly in ...

A Nice Time on the Carnival Dream

We recently returned home from a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise aboard the Carnival Dream. This is the 3rd Carnival cruise we have sailed and we have also been on Disney (Wonder) and Norwegian (Gem). Since were were in Orlando for the first week of July, we decided it would make sense to piggyback a cruise from Port Canaveral for the second week. We contemplated booking the Disney Fantasy but with ...

We cruised with our two daughters, 16 and 14. The room was plenty spacious. I was surprised at the amount of storage in the rooms. They really took advantage of every square inch. The beds were super comfortable with great cozy comforters. The balcony was much larger than we expected. The bathroom had a ton of storage as well. We were on the 7th deck and it was pretty sound proofed. The neighbors ...

We flew into Orlando airport and picked up a one way rental from Dollar at the terminal. It was $48 total for 24 hours, including $19 one way fee and taxes, plus $6 fillup upon return for a fullsize that was upgraded to a minivan for free. We had signed up for the free Express rental card, so we just walked over to the parking terminal and saw our name on a board which shows what parking spot your ...

Well this is my first time cruising and I'm 16 years old. We traveled on the Carnival Dream and the ship was absolutely beautiful! It took a couple days to actually figure out where we were going but it was nice! Well getting on the ship was super easy and fast. Also make sure you pack a bathing suit in your carry on if you want to swim the first day because your luggage will not get to your room ...

We sailed on the Dream ship doing the Eastern Islands. We had the most amazing time!! The ship was beautiful! A little background....It was myself and my husband celebrating our 25th Anniversary. We arrived the night before and stayed at the Radisson by the port. We arrived very late as our plane was delayed and we had to wait a VERY long time at Budget to pick up our car rental. By the time we ...

Prior to the cruise: Radisson at the Port Hotel: Sleep number bed didn't work. Left a wake-up call that we never got. Hired Cocoa Beach Shuttle to pick us up at the Orlando Airport and to take us from the cruise port back to the airport. The first words out of the mouths of the baggage handlers at the cruise terminal were to ask for a tip. We watched from our shuttle as they took their sweet ...
