We just returned from an amazing holiday in the Mediterranean on the Norwegian Epic (out of Rome 23 May). Memorable, off the beaten path activities included visiting Jungle Parc and completing their Extremo high ropes course, (http://www.jungleparc.es/en ) on Palma de Mallorca, visiting Marguerite Island near Cannes, and the chair lift to Monte Solaro in Capri. We were able to splurge on the Haven for this trip - and the experience was exceptiona! Our concierge team of Omar and David were amazing. They worked unceasingly to ensure guests' needs were met. Our butlers and cleaning crew (Maria, Roland, Bianca) were also wonderful. The entire staff was genuinely friendly and some much fun to speak with about sights and their home countries. Most of our onboard entertainment was to relax! My daughter had bought us spa passes which were well used! I cannot recommend enough. I even fell asleep a few times just lounging on the back deck. We did go to a few shows. Burn the Floor was perfectly executed - with a cool twist on classic dance. Priscilla had great costumes and dancing. Howl at the moon / the magician acts / the Beatles were also good. I was able to make a few visits to the visit center. There was more equipment than most gyms - was blown away! Food quality and presentation varied a bit. The Haven restaurant and Moderno were my favorites. The only service complaint might be a long wait for dinner, but we learned to plan for that as the week progressed. Overall, this was a one of our vest holidays ever. Was tough to leave and come back to reality! Read Less

I recently went on this ship/cruise and was a solo traveler. Had some concerns before traveling as this was my first solo trip. I will say that I am no longer concerned after this trip. The staff were all terrific and very friendly!! All the passengers I ran into were very pleasant and I never felt alone. The food was good as well, no concerns and plenty of options. I did not get to any of the shows since I met new friends and enjoyed relaxing so can not comment on them. Did not try all the dinning options other than Main dining and buffet. There is plenty to do on board or just relax and read a book. Spent most of the time in the adult area on deck. Bar staff very pleasant and attentive. Renzo and Oliver at Spice H2O lounge were great!!!! Stop by and say hi! I had a studio room and found it perfect, I did not spend much time other than shower and sleeping as it is a vacation and shouldn't be spent in a room!!! Only concern is no idea of time of day as lighting is the same throughout. But would definately do it again!!!! Met a wonderful woman named Karen from England and didn't get her information to keep in touch and wish I had! If anyone knows her please have her message me!!!!! Read Less

We chose this cruise for the ports. We wanted to do the western Mediterranean. We were not disappointed. Everything was wonderful. The room was plenty big enough. There was more than enough storage space. Two closets for hanging clothes, plus three drawers. We were able to put our two large suitcases in the one closet one on top of the other. My carry on fit by the couch near the sliding doors. The balcony was large. We were in room 9224. Contrary to what some people said, the frosted glass on the toilet and shower areas was not a problem. There also was a curtain that could be pulled over to separate that area if it bothered someone. The food was excellent. We ate at the garden cafe several times. The choices were unbelievable. The taste and Manhattan room were also terrific. Shanghai had fantastic Chinese food. The staff was incredible. So pleasant and accommodating. We usually stopped at Maltings whiskey bar on the 7th floor each night. Kit, the wait server was so nice and always knew what we wanted. Our housekeeping person, Arnold, was the best. Such a wonderful man. They both made us feel special. The Cavern had a Beatles band, who were very good. Shore excursions were a little on the pricey side, but very good. The embarkation and disembarkation were fine. Was very quick and easy. Read Less

My first time cruising since I was a kid.. also I have never been to Europe! Every port on this itinerary was incredible-so much to do. I did many of the things on the Epic but mostly at night due to a busy sightseeing schedule. Service and staff were especially helpful and the ship was very clean. On and off were fast and easy-no waiting at all Cagney's Steakhouse and Taste dining room were my favorite meals, all the shows were very well done. I did not pay for additional charge activities (other than dining) or play at the casino so I cannot provide much information on games, bingo, etc. There are plenty of things to do but our day at sea was especially rainy so outdoor pools etc were not available for us. The ship was at capacity but rarely felt crowded. Sometimes I had trouble finding a seat in the buffet area indoors at busy times. Most food I had was very good even at the buffet and other included dining areas. O'Sheehans sports bar has great wings and nachos available 24/7 and desserts were the best!! I did a few NCL shore excursions which were very easy. They give you priority disembarking and were organized well. The hardest part was deciding which ones to do since there are so many great choices. I would definitely return to Florence and Barcelona to explore more of the area as one day was not enough for me! We chose this cruise so we could see the picturesque towns of Sorrento and Amalfi. The other destinations ( Cinque Terre, Cannes, Nice, Eze, Palma Mallorca, Soller and Barcelona) were the icing on the cake. We had a fantastic time seeing the sights and experiencing the Euro Culture on the excursions. This cruise was well organized compared with our Norwegian Star cruise to Alaska 7 years ago. The excursions went very well because everybody did not have to get off or on the boat at the same time, through the same door. Getting back on the boat was so much better this time and the hot/cold towels and fruit punch were refreshing bonuses. Our room steward Felix took great care of us and was so efficient; we looked forward so seeing the towel animals upon returning to our room. We loved dealing with Viktoria T. ( Deck 7) from the Ukraine; she was the sweetest, most helpful sales person we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The wait staff in Taste and O' Sheehans was courteous and very polite. We loved Cirque Dreams, and Burn The Floor; The Beatle's tribute was underwhelming. The Cruise Director, Andre, is definitely The MVP of the Norwegian Epic. We saw an episode of " The Not so Newlywed Game" hosted by Andre. He is the funniest person I have ever met and I told him so when we disembarked. NCL, we had a wonderful time and I am spreading the word. Thank you! Read Less

I chose this cruise because my friends had never been to Europe and this offered a great itinerary which includes highlights of Italy, Spain and a little bit of France. Since this is their first Meditterean cruise the 7 day trip is just right. In addition, The Epic cruise ship is one of the better ships of Norwegian because I ve been cruising with Norwegian since 2000. The staff at Norwegian is wonderful. They are friendly, and very professional. We also booked a Mini Suite and very happy with our accommodations. Our room is always clean and tidy. They offered great variety of food at the buffet and enjoyed the fine dining at their restaurants. The food is excellent and everyday it offered different choices. I was really surprised with the entertainment. (Priscilla and Burn the Floor). They had shows that are well done and well prepared. Almost like a Vegas show. There's so much to do on the ship. The excursions were great as well ! Read Less

My friend and I have always talked about going on a cruise together. She couldn’t have picked the most perfect cruise ship, Epic. I truly can’t express my utter gratitude to the crew of the Epic, I felt like family and was treated as such. Everyone was so heart warming, kind, helpful and everything else in between. I loved seeing their smiles, and being greeted throughout the ship. Dominic, who cleaned up our cabins, always greeted me with a smile in the morning, And for me a smile brightens my day, I truly appreciated everything he had done for me. The entertainment crew on the ship was top notch!!!! I have never had so much fun!!! Personally. I am not a very outgoing person, but this trip, I had a complete blast. Between the game shows, bingo, karaoke, and the themed dance parties, I have never felt so alive. lol I truly appreciate Andres and his entire team for making this trip unbelievable. I can’t remember everyone’s name, but Lester, Ruby, Manay( spelt that wrong) and everyone else hold a special piece in my heart. I will always remember their enthusiasm and warmth. And even walking around the ship and them to remember me made my day. Honestly, they made a wonderful impact on my me. I decided to to go the spa. The best decision ever!!! Everyone was fantastic!! I felt relaxed, pampered, and completely refreshed. They are amazing people!!! I want to thank everyone for making this the most amazing experience ever!!, I am planning my next cruise for 2019 on the Epic!!! Read Less

We had an absolutely amazing time on this cruise! The musicians and singers were top notch and we come from a family of musicians so we know professionals when we see and hear them. The columbian band and the 3 amichees were our favourites. They not only gave a great performance but also involved the audience. Several people joined the band playing their instruments and performed with them. That shows confidence! Food was also great. Service was absolutely amazing. Staff seemed happy and genuine, from servers to greeters to cabin stewards to gift shop staff. I would definately plan another cruise with ncl and hope the same bands are there again. Cabins are just the right size and well planned out. Cabin steward was always there anytime we left or came back to the room. Very attentive! Great staff to guest ratio. We used the basketball courts, bowled, used the water slide, lounged on deck, went to Headliners, Cavern and Bliss night club. The only negatives were the price of alcohol beverages and shore excursions were overpriced Read Less

Saw a good deal...travel agent recommended. First ever cruise for us. Made to feel so special. Accomodation food Selection of Ports entertainment.....all first class. Think Joanne was the girls name that welcomed us to breakfast every morning with a happy smile and "Washy Washy...Happy Happy" you just had to smile. And the group 4Blue are so talented....we tried to see them most nights. Would highly recommend this cruise ship. Thanks to them we now have some happy happy memories. The food was amazing. The taste and quality was exceptional. The entertainment was first class. Or only fault was we didn't book the shows in advance. We were advised to do this but we like to be a bit spontaneous...bt by the time we came back on board from our days in port the queues were too long so we missed out. But as this was our first cruise we will be better organised the next time. Read Less

The reason we choose this cruise was it incorporated the Barcelona Grand Prix and other places to visit. The food is very good but at some restaurants the portions could be bigger and also served on plates not in wire baskets as where difficult to cut food up in them . The entertainment was very good. The whole of the ship was very clean and tidy, and plenty of helpful staff to help you out. The spa treatments were overly priced in my estimation and you were pushed to buy the products after your session . But all in all a most enjoyable cruise and will be looking to book again for a further cruise. We were fist time cruisers and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Only think we did find that wasn't 2 good was when you could leave the ship for an excursion the signs of were to disembark were put up in a poorly lighted lift area so hard to see. Read Less

My husband and I went on the Mediterranean cruise in May but I'm only getting around to writing a review now. This was our first ever cruise. We didn't really know what to expect, but we loved the itinerary and decided to book it. Embarkation was quick and easy, much better than boarding a flight. We loved the ship. We couldn't believe how big it was and it felt like you were on a moving town rather than on a boat. We thought it looked very new, and loved the decorations. I didn't really like the buffet restaurant but my husband did. I found it too crowded and a bit overwhelming. Taste and Manhattan were both great. We didn't book tables and never had much of a wait. If we did have to wait we were given a buzzer, so we would go off somewhere else on the ship, have a drink, check out some of the entertainment, and head back to the restaurant when the buzzer went off. We loved the food. We also ate in the Chinese both the main Chinese restaurant and the noodle bar. Staff there were amazing and so accommodating. Although in the same venue they were quite different and it was worth going to both. We did have some on board credit which we hadn't used, so we went to Cagney's on the last night. Cagney's was absolutely amazing. We didn't want to leave, the food and the atmosphere were just incredible. We had a beverage package which made the cruise stress free. Knowing there would be no big bill at the end. I thought the bar staff were great. And we seemed to get table service at loads of the different bars which we weren't expecting, but was a great surprise. The entertainment was fantastic. We loved Priscilla. A lot of people walked out which surprised us. It was so well executed. I loved Burn the Floor, but my husband wasn't a big fan of it. We spent a lot of time at duelling pianos, and they were really talented, there was no request they couldn't sing. We spent one night at cirque, and this was well worth the extra money. I didn't really like having to rush our food down, but once the show started I could see why. The gym was very spacious with amazing views. I tried a spin class but thought it wasn't great, and is quite expensive. The spin instructor seemed quite disappointed with the tip I gave. To be honest, it was probably the worst spin class I've ever done, and no one ever tips spin instructors in any gym I've been to, so I guessed what I thought was reasonable, but she looked so upset, and I left wishing I hadn't bothered with the class at all. I thought the service everywhere was just fantastic. Obviously it's a huge ship and get busy, but there was never much of a wait. At the ports we didn't do any of the NCL trips as they were exponentially more expensive than locally ran trips, which seemed very similar. I would absolutely LOVE to travel with Norwegian cruise line again! Read Less

The cabin was very clean and nice and also , having a balcony is a must for us. They cleaned and prepared our bed at night, which was nice. We went to several restaurants in evening, all were very good. We also went to several shows in evening, which also were very entertaining. Service everywhere was great, really can't complain about anything. As far as excursions we booked a lot on our own prior to leaving. I like private tours with a driver and you can go were you want to visit or see things. I would definitely book again on NCL, maybe this time to Greek Isles? Or Hawaii. Read Less

The embarkation process was super fast, despite the long lines. Everyone onboard was super helpful and friendly. Entertainment was top notch! Pricilla was amazing! The food was good, not great and certainly plentiful. We did have a hard time finding a seat at lunch time on a rain day. My only real issue was with the Level (1,2,3) rating of the tours. We had booked a tour at each port, and they did not disappoint! On our second day our tour was rated a 2. We had done a level 3 the previous day and were quite exhausted from it. The level 2 tour required much more physical exertion than we were expecting. Lots of walking over uneven terrain and quite a long distance. Should have been a level 3! The week long thermal pass at the spa came in handy after a long day of touring! A few super drunk people in the pool deck that were a little annoying to other guests and should have been cut off but weren't. Read Less

The Haven was pricey but it is well worth the money. We book all excursions with NCL. The embarkation and disembarkation was a breeze. We were on and off in minutes. Love the private areas on the ship. The weather was not in our favor but we enjoy every minutes of the cruise. Planning my next cruise with NCL in the Haven right now. We had never cruised before and were in a way holding our breath, expecting to not enjoy it, but HOLY COW! We were blown away and are convinced we will never do another all-inclusive holiday on a resort ever again! We opted for the first class experience and stayed in suite 17018 in the Haven. This is by far what has turned us into enthusiastic cruisers. Its worth every penny for all the luxuries and relaxed ambiance. I honestly can say we probably just wouldn't have enjoyed being in a regular stateroom with thousands of other travellers, but thats just our personal travel preference. The concierges (Bowen!), the Butler (Jovjit!), the bartenders (Modesto), the Maiter'D and the servers on the private Haven areas completely made our time on the ship beyond memorable. We are so grateful to them all and before we even got off the ship, we had already begun planning our next NCL cruise for June 2019. The food was 1st class, the drinks and bartender Modesto were amazing, the Kids Club onboard was epic and adored by our children, the suite was excellent and well appointed, lush and soooo comfortable (thank you housekeeping!) My husband enjoyed an excellent massage with Queen, who is just that - a Queen. We dined in Cagney's which was delicious, Teppenyaki, which was fine, and also Moderno, which was also fine. The only restaurant which compared to the incredible dining experience in the Haven Club was Cagney's. We can't think of a single point which we could offer suggestion to improve, and thats HUGE coming from us. We debarked with heavy hearts and spent 3 days in Barcelona. every day we missed the ship and team so much! Thank you so The Haven team for all the wonderful memories and hard work to make our travels something we could only dream about! We will be back! Read Less

This was my 10th cruise, first on Norwegian. I have to say after reading some of the reviews I was not very happy with my choice. But I had a completely different experience then most. I really enjoyed the Epic. I did not find any of the staff to be rude, most had a smile on their faces. We never had any problems getting drinks from the bar either. We enjoyed the shows, you just have to remember to make reservations. We made ours 30 days before sailing. I can't speak of the specialty restaurants as we did not eat at any of the paid one's. But I found the Manhattan restaurant to be very nice and the most we waited for a table was 35 minutes. We enjoyed the club Bliss, it always had a nice crowd and even in the club we had not one problem getting drinks. Embarkment was a breeze we got to the ship around 11am. Not much of a crowd. Was first on the ship. Disbarkment was a breeze as well. We purchased the Norwegian transfer to the airport so we got off the ship around 7am for a 2pm flight. Too early had to wait at airport till 1130 am to go through security. Read Less

Just got back from a 7 day cruise on the NCL Epic. What a great cruise. Started in Barcelona and did a week hitting Italy, France, and Spain. Few notes... The Ship: Hands down one of the best ship I have sailed on. The Epic has everything for everyone. --The service is top notch with the Hotel Director Nelson on top of everything. Nelson is very visible all the time. Many times I saw him helping people, inspecting the food venues, and talking to guests. He is very approachable and like to interact with the guests to make sure everyone is having a great holiday. His assistant Agatha contributes alot and is also very visible. With over 4,000 guests, they stay very busy, and truly care about your experience. Hats off to NCL for hiring the best in the business for there fleet. Definitely, sets them apart from the competitors. --The Entertainment: Great shows including the "Priscilla queen of the desert". The shows are just like what you expect from Broadway productions. Also, the Circus dinner was fantastic. Amazing to the the talent that is on the boat. You definitely got to attend. Casio is very big. I think one of the biggest at sea. Very friendly staff with all the table games you want. The themed parties are great too. NCL has a white party that is real cool. Its held in the back of the ship in an open air venue. Live music is always playing. --The Food/Drink: One of, if not, the best food and beverage program at sea. Plenty of options including a complementary Chinese restaurant (we ate there twice). The Carney's steakhouse was excellent. Just what you expect with the same quality as Capital Grill or Morton's. This was my favorite restaurant. The buffet has everything you can think of with great hours. We didnt do room service but it had an extensive menu. The beverage package is the best deal in town. Open bar was a great value that offered an amazing selection and fast and friendly service. I would strongly recommend you getting the package. Plus, its nice when you are with a group not having a tab. --The Ports: The ports are great. My favorite was Barcelona and Palma. Ship is docked right in the middle of the action and plenty to see. We also stopped in Cannes and took the train to Monaco. It was very easy and nice to see. Rome is a little tricky to get to. Its about 45 min from the port. Need to leave early to enjoy the day. Naples has great pizza and nice shopping. Over all this was one of my favorite cruises that I took. I have been on all the big lines like Royal, Carnival, and Princess. I really think that NCL is the best not only for service but for value. They don't nickle and dime you and the staff are amazing. Would recommend you try the specialty restaurants. Looking forward to our next sail. Read Less

This cruise was actually a 7 day cruise not a 3 day. Departing in Barcelona and arriving back to Barcelona. This is a great city to begin or end a vacation in. Must see city that has So much to offer. The cruise port is easily accessible and right in the city. This cruise has a fantastic itinerary on a georgous mega ship! The boarding process was smooth & efficient. The mini suite spa room meet all expectations. The location was also extremely convenient to the spa which is well worth paying the charge to utilize. The steam rooms, saunas, and gigantic jacuzzi with massaging waters falls, jets, and beds were beyond relaxing. There are also heated beds to take a nap or grab a bed or lounge chair on the balcony and watch an amazing sunset with unobstructed views from the back of the ship’s private spa balcony. You also have great views from multiple sauna rooms with glass windows to the water. The fitness center is multiple levels and rivals a gym you’d pay a membership fee for. It’s massive!!! It has all the equipment from various weight & cardio machines, to punching bags, to yoga rooms, spinning classes etc you’d ever need. The casino is very large and offers all varieties of gambling which I spent my fare share of time in! Biggest ship casino I’ve seen and the staff their is very friendly and engaging. The entertainment on board this heavenly vessel was simply magical! The Cirque Dream show is an additional charge but I HIGHLY recommend it. Don’t miss this show as you’ll be very disappointed as the performers are world class. I also had the pleasure of seeing the show Priscilla Queen of the Desert which is complimentary and equally as impressive to the music, dancing, and performances. Kudos to all those performers and the supporting cast behind the scenes to enable all those wardrobe changes etc! Do yourselves a favor and make time to enjoy this one evening! I indulged in the drink package which is well worth it for someone who enjoys having numerous adult beverages. Their are endless bars around the ship to explore and the service was always prompt. I am a cigar lover and used the cigar lounge multiple times which was conviently located to the bars and casino. The weather was A+ for the entire trip which made the pool deck a great place to relax, mingle and have cocktails. I am a lover of the Norwegian freestyle dining which truely embodies a vacation mindset! Only way to cruise is with freestyle style options! It’s amazing when your on a week long cruise and you return never having a bad meal! Kudos to the entire ships restaurants. We ate everywhere from Cagneys, to the Manhattan, to the buffet and the selections, service, and quality were 5 Star! Norwegian truely has the best food in the industry. I had the pleasure to see the Haven and enjoy a meal there and it’s an area that is worth spending a little extra money to get a lot more of an experience. If you want to spoil yourselves you must be in the Haven. The cleanliness of the ship is remarkable given its size and the vast amount of passengers but and it always looked showtime ready. We spent several nights at the the night club Dazzals drinking & dancing and the bar waiter Oliver was always very attentive and true pleasure to interact with! There are several neat things such as the Svedka Ice Bar, bowling, rock climbing, water slides, comedy shows, shopping etc so there is plenty of things to do. Special acknowledgement to the Hotel Director Nelson who is the ultimate professional and a remarkable human being! Nelson and his entire team aboard the Epic make dreams come true. They have the inate ability to make everyone feel special. Nelson is extremely visible throughout the ship and very hands on ensuring operational excellence! We had the pleasure to meet Agatha who works closely with Nelson and she was very accommodating on every need or desire we had. Agatha went above and beyond to ensure this was a memorable voyage! Nelson, Agatha, & the entire Epic staff made us feel like true royalty and went above and beyond in true Norwegian style to make this cruise a remarkable experience! Well done Epic and I look forward to my next trip! Read Less

We were blown away every night by the caliber of the shows and friendliness of the staff! Pricilla, Cirque, Howl at the Moon, the Tre Amichi, Miro the Magician...all amazing! And the staff were absolutely wonderful. Getting on and off the ship was usually fairly easy, the biggest jam up was the elevators getting up to your room. Not an issue if you are willing to take the stairs or sit and have a drink before heading to your stateroom at the end of your day. Attended the Cruise as part of a 28 strong party to witness great friends hold their civil ceremony in the Manhattan Room, this was our first time on a Norwegian tour, we had a great overall experience. The public facilities onboard were superb, the shore excursions are well organised with Knowledgable guides, to the relevant places close to the ports that the ship calls into, we saw two Shows on board Pricilla Queen of the desert which has warnings regarding the show before the performance, but the show itself was as good as the London theatre and the Epic Beatles were seen at the welcome on board party where some cruisers were ignorant getting up and leaving half way through the performance, The Hot tubs were great to relax and have waiters bring you drinks when you wNted them. The group who sings by th3 pool creates a good atmosphere for All to enjoy Read Less

From start to finish we loved everything about this cruise. We were worried at first after having read some bad reviews but cannot say enough how great our cruise was. The food and staff were all excellent! Our cabin was very comfortable and had lots of storage. We wish there were more TV options but weren't in the room very often anyway. The food was excellent. We ate at a variety of specialty restaurants and we were all happy with our food and the staff. The food was hot and delicious. The process of embarkation and disembarkation was extremely organized and efficient. I would definitely take another Norwegian cruise again. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The drinks for all great! We had the adult beverage package and were very happy with the selection. The alcohol was all top shelf. The ports we went to were great. We wish we could have spent a few more days at each port but got a quick taste of each place. Loved everything about the cruise and would highly recommend to anyone. We started out in Barcelona and traveled to Naples, Rome, Florence, Cannes and Palma de Mallorca. Read Less

What a great experience on our first TA Cruise! We were celebrating our retirements and our 40th anniversary. It was our second time on the Epic so we were aware of the little quirkiness of the ship...but that's what gives the ship it's "character"! The food was FANTASTIC...with Cagney's and Moderno being much better experiences than we had on previous NCL ships. The entertainment was PRIMO...as long as you were patient and made reservations. Service was "spot on"... with our cabin steward, Noel and Cha Cha in Shaker's being our favorites! The crew all seemed happy & helpful. Andre was a great cruise director. (I hope he met everybody!) Marj had some minor internet problems but they were corrected quickly. We made many new friends,as we usually do on our cruises. There were plenty of quiet areas for some murder/mystery novels too. We were at the gym every day and had no problem getting on the equipment. The room was very comfortable with plenty of storage...again we already knew of the quirkiness of the bed and bathrooms, so no surprises there! We considered the curved walls and the bed just part of the Barcelona "Gaudi" experience! We enjoyed the bars and the musicians and the wine selection was pretty good. In Cagney's they had I-Pads that showed all the available wines with pics of their labels. GREAT IDEA...maybe consider doing that at all the restaurants/bars! The itinerary was all new for us and the shore excursions were well planned and interesting...Loved Madeira, Gibraltar and Seville! The tour guides were all excellent with maybe the exception of Igor at the "Caves of Nerja". (I think he was having a bad day). The debarkation was a breeze...probable the quickest and easiest we ever got off a ship! THANKS NCL FOR A WONDERFUL TIME!!! Read Less

The 15 day cruise in April 2018 was FANTASTIC! Stops in BERMUDA, MADIERA, GIBRALTOR, CADIZ, & MALAGO WERE THE BEST, The ship is easy to maneuver around, it has many dining options that are included in the fare. The bowling alleys and climbing walls and pool slides were a lot of fun. The balcony cabin is spacious and has lots of storage. The bathroom configuration is funky, but the shower room size is FANTASTIC. My friend actually had a bath tub, but it was steep and difficult to climb into because she had short legs. Beds are very comfortable. I made a suggestion to the Cruise Director to move the Epic Beatles to the theater from the small bar because the place was too small and he listened and created 2 afternoon shows that filled the huge theater and the shows by the impersonators were fantastic. The special circus is excellent & worth the price. We will definitely cruise on NCL again soon. Read Less

My wife and I chose this cruise on the recommendation from friends to join them. It was an amazing experience. The shore excursions where the highlight for us as it was our first time in Europe. I had no idea what history awaited us in Seville, Spain. Visiting the Tomb of Chrisopher Columbus was an experience we will never forget. My wife was overwhelmed with the religious history at the cathedral in Seville. The next day walking amoung the apes at the top of Gibralter was another day of rich memories that we will share for a lifetime. Walking the streets of old Barcelona was a fun and enriching experience. The Norwegian staff could not have been more friendly. The food was excellent. I had one of the best meals of my life at Cagney's Steakhouse on board. On a 15 day cruise I didn't expect to run out of time to explore everything on the ship but we did. All in all it was a great value for an amazing adventure. Read Less
