The Norwegian Epic was a bad choice!!!!!

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I will never go back with Norwegian Cruise line. Most of the crew members are very rude. No customer service whatsoever. They charge for room service, They charge for any snacks in the middle of the ship. Guess service are horrible. The other cruise lines are much better at it. I'm going back to Royal Caribbean. They know how to value passengers and are willing to assist clients. I thought ...

it's all about the destination not the ship...

We chose the Norwegian Epic because it made more sense for us. The ship looked nice and the destinations were awesome. In this case if you only care about the destinations and not the ship. You're on the right ship.... The level of service was very poor. The crew are not friendly at all, they are not about customer service. The only one I can really say was awesome it was the guy that kept our ...

Hi the bedrooms are so cramped ! my ankles where hanging over the edge ! you couldn't pass each other in the bedroom ! There was a smell on deck 8 near the lifts ! not good! The entertainment in the bar was terrible! could not hear them. and if you did they sounded awful ! lots of complaining !! they are the ones who bring people into the bar aren't they! Most of staff could speak English ...

Although we had no problems with the three-piece bathrooms in balcony rooms on the Epic (and in fact found them rather convenient), we were dissatisfied with the short bed: I am only 5-10 and my feet hung over the end. For meals, we were entirely satisfied with the quality of the food (and, yes, are used to good meals in upscale restaurants) and the attentive, courteous, fast service in the main ...

This is a classy and beautiful ship with a modern twist and a fun vive with so much to do that you will never be out of options. This was my first time on NCL and I was pleasantly surprised and it is one that is now very high on my list of favourites. This is a large resort ship one of the biggest but strangely is did not feel too big to me, seemed smaller then some other ships like Regal ...

Love this cruise and hope to do it again. I selected this cruise for the itinerary. Plenty to do in every port. Upon boarding I was surprised by the condition of my cabin. I shared an inside cabin and thought it may be clustrophobic, but I was very comfortable with the layout and furnishings. The whole ship was modern, clean and beautiful. This was my first NCL cruise. Great food around the ...

Budget cruise - would not recommend it at all - horrible customer service

I would definitely not recommend this cruise ship. It was very dirty and the customer service was non-existent, crew members were rude and non attentive. We ended up having 2 mini suites on the 8th floor and I would definitely not recommend staying on the 8th floor as all the bars are on the 7th floor and the music literally shook our bedrooms until 1am. Rooms are very dirty, carpeting was ...

Better Than We Expected Overall

We chose this cruise because of the nice assortment of port stops in the itinerary. We were pleasantly surprised by several things about the ship. First, the cabin was, while not roomy, very comfortable and ingeniously laid out. It took a little while to get used to the unusual toilet/shower arrangement, but it turned out to be fine. The bed was, indeed, too short for me (six feet tall), just as ...

As I had never been on a cruise before, spoke to colleagues who recommended that I chose the itinerary that had the ports I wanted to visit and EPIC med cruise is fantastic as you can see so much if you want as the ports that we visited were excellent. We got off on organised tours for the 3 italian ports, but did very little at Cannes and Palma - we were all so tired by then! Our family was ...

First, anyone thinking about this cruise should know that this cruise embarks/disembarks at both Barcelona and Civitavecchia (Rome). About 3/4 of the passengers use Barcelona and the remainder use Civitavecchia. I would recommend staying in Rome ahead of time and boarding in Rome. Civitavecchia is a distance from Rome, so if you embark in Barcelona, expect a long ride to go see the ...
