The repositioning cruise in early November had mostly adult couples over 40, and they were a friendly, fun loving, active group. Mid-day dance lessons and trivia contests in the Atrium were well attended. The fitness facility was very busy most daylight hours on sea days.

I chose The Epic as this was my first cruise as a solo and I knew this was a ship that may cater for my needs. I was not disappointed as the Solo organiser was excellent and I met lots of lovely people. I couldn't get a studio cabin but had an inside which was more than satisfactory. I’ve been on 20+ cruises; this was my 3rd time on the NCL Epic. This was the transatlantic / repositions cruise from Barcelona to Port Canaveral with a one day stop in Malaga (Spain) and a one day stop in the Azores. In total 10 days were spent at sea.
