Got Norovirus

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Epic

1. I got the Norovirus. 2. Ship was beautiful. 3. Staff was very friendly. 4. Ship layout is cumbersome. 5. Mini-suite bathroom setup is bad unless you don't mind not having any privacy while on the toilet. It had see through glass. The toilet is on one side and the shower/tub on the other in glass. If you cannot step up and over 32 inches then you can't use the tub/shower. The tub is curved like ...

Excellent Cruise

As a new single (widowed), I was very happy to book this NCL cruise, after finding out about the studio (no single supplement) concept that NCL has pioneered. Lucky for me, due to the hurricanes in the area, a lot of folks had canceled their reservations since the cruise had shifted from an Eastern Caribbean to a Western itinerary. That allowed me to secure a balcony cabin for just a little more ...

Disappointing

We are not new to cruising, having sailed on Disney 1 time, and Royal Caribbean 4 times. We have taken 2 other cruises on Norwegian, Getaway and Sky, in the past year and a half and really enjoyed them. This ship was totally different and a disappointment. The ship is laid out poorly. IConcierge menu listed filet and lobster at Wasabi, however, when we got to the restaurant, we were told that the ...

Epic adventure aboard an epic ship

From the moment I stepped aboard this amazing ship, I knew I was in for an adventurous trip. Traveling alone I found my cabin with ease and enjoyed the company of other solo travelers. The ultimate beverage package is the best perk going, along with the speciality dining. Entertainment was fabulous and so we're the water slides. Staff was exceptional and catered to my every wish. I used the solo ...

Dec. 16-23 - Great way to end 2017!

Loved the initial itinerary and the port/sail date worked out perfectly for our schedules. We would most likely not choose a cruise that went to Falmouth if they continue to make you drive 1.5 hours one way for your excursion. We had a 5-hour excursion planned and 3 hours (without traffic they said) would be driving to Ocho Rios... Not my idea of a vacation so we canceled and enjoyed our day on ...

Overall review of my cruise experience....EPIC, AWESOME, GREAT, ENJOYABLE and waiting for the next cruise with Norwegian. Everyone was Fantastic!!! The ship, cabin, dining, entertainment and ports were Great. The activities were fun, the staff made our experiences engaging and rewarding. Carefree ease of movement during embarkment and disembarkment. I will cruise again on Norwegian Epic. There ...

Not worth it

It was my sister's 75th birthday and we went with her whole family to celebrate it. I found the cruise to be very overcrowded, there were over 4100 passengers. There were lines for entertainment and food. Embarking and disembarking took over an hour for each. I am 78 years old and I was never able to find a seat at the "howl at the moon" piano bar. I enjoyed the games at the Atrium, but had to ...

Epic Pre-Christmas Solo Caribbean Cruise

I got a great, last-minute deal on this solo cruise out of Orlando. I got a balcony room with two perks (beverage and dining). I had a great time and met some great folks through the Solo travelers and LGBT meet ups (kudos to NCL for offering those). I took a shuttle from the airport to the port. Embarkation was crowded but went fast, especially for Latitudes members. I was on the ship by ...

Norwegian Epic Haven experience

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Epic

Room 17005 - Before you book a room in the Haven ,do your research! Our room was literally 1 room. The toilet, bathtub/shower, sink and bed were one area. No separate shower or toilet area. There was absolutely no privacy. The tub was dangerous getting in and out of and my wife and I are pretty nimble and not overweight. There was one sinl barely the size of my hand. The shower doors kept ...

The Epic is too big.

I chose this cruise because it was going to St Thomas and Tortola. Unfortunately, we had to substitute Falmouth, Jamaica and Grand Cayman due to the hurricane. Ship: the Epic is not a grand ship. Most ships I’ve sailed have grand five story atriums. This one has a two story atrium. The ceilings everywhere were very low. I felt claustrophobic in many of the public areas. The overall design of ...
