Very poor since switched to Monarch much bigger and older ship, horrible cabin!

Review for Zenith to Caribbean - Southern

We did as a couple the same cruise 3 years ago with Pullman`s Zenith and even if we would not expect luxury from this company overall the trip was nice. Being in Panama again and counting this is the only option to take a cruise in Colon we decided to show the same itinerary to our kids but what a let down this time.. Starting with the basics - the cabin. Booking rather late the best we ...

Review for Zenith to Canary Islands

This was a last minute booking, five days before sailing. We had sailed round the Canary Islands several times before and have a home in Tenerife Being aware this was a Spanish based cruise line with low prices and old ships, this was an experiment. We were aware most of the passengers would be Spanish speakers and we are not. Nevertheless, the passengers whose first language was not Spanish were ...

Review for Zenith to Europe - Western Mediterranean

We chose this cruiser for the itinerary and the low price which included a basic beverage package, Cabin was dated and the wallpaper worn but the mattress was good, the linens fresh, the plumbing worked and everything was clean. Staff were friendly throughout. Food good with reasonable choice. Excellent al fresco dining aft of the buffet with great views. Entertainment OK for a small ship. ...

Two weeks of being spoiled!

Review for Zenith to Europe - British Isles & Western

User Avatar

We chose the cruise because of three good experiences with Pullmanturs. We are British, but both speak Spanish, so there was no language problem - not that there would have been. All the crew are at least bilingual. Zenith herself is not a youngster, and a tiny bit tatty in places, but always clean. The food on board was the best we have ever had on a cruise, ad indeed on a par with many five ...

MONARCH - Sub par food and older ship

Review for Zenith to Panama Canal & Central America

NOT THE ZENITH SHIP. MONARCH Ship was our cruise. All Spanish speaking, some English. Overall a fair cruise. Do not take interior room as walls are thin. Fruit was not ripe, hard and lacked flavor. Coke and other soft drinks plus most alcohol free in open main pool/deck area. Poor looking few channels on 17-20" TV. Few activities, guess we are spoiled. Yellowish brown nasty looking hot water for 3 ...

Review for Zenith to Canary Islands

Cruising arround Canari islands is interesting. Instead of port Agadir in Marocco, I would rather stop on any other Canari island like Fuertaventura, or La Gomera and maybe the stay in ports could be a bit longer. The ship allready shows its years, there were necessary coloring during the cruise, which was probably urgent maintenance work, nevertheless the cruise was comfortable and ...

Wonderful staff

Review for Zenith to Canary Islands

Just back from an enjoyable week on the Zenith. The staff on this ship make the experience very enjoyable. Smallest ship we have been on, but that made it all the more friendly as bumping into the same people regularly. Spent most evenings in the casino and bar, as this is where we found the most English entertainment, lovely gentleman on guitar and trio group, excellent variety of songs, no ...

Review for Zenith to Canary Islands

We have been on a number of cruises and we tend to select by itinerary and price rather than cruise line and have been on RCI, Princess, MSC, Oceania, Azamara and HAL. We selected this cruise to give us the opportunity to have some warmer weather and there are not many lines cruising in this area.Cost was also attractive. Pullmantur focus on Spanish speaking markets but all staff speak ...

This ship whilst being old is so great value for money you don’t notice the age of the ship We had a balcony cabin which was fine in size plenty of storage space and bathroom slightly bigger than other ships we have been on We paid £1450 for 2 of us all inclusive including tips Food in the restaurant was fabulous and the waiters can’t do enough for you. Maybe a bit limited in choice but ...
