This is my second time on the Ruby Princess, but this last cruise was horrible. The staff was rube and it took forever to et service. I had plan a 15 day cruise next Oct. to Hawaii and I am going to cancel that trip.I can not image spend 15 days with that crew. The public bathrooms were not well tended to. In addition, the drinks were watered down and the bartenders took forever getting our ...

Morose Crew on Overcrowded Ship Full of Children

This is for the Mexican Riviera sailing on 11/18. Embarkation/Debarkation were sadly the best parts of this cruise. The cabin itself was decent and clean. The TV options were better than other cruiselines with a rotating schedule of movies and various other programming. Managed to watch 7 NFL games while there which for me was a positive (wife not so much). The two main issues I had with ...

Spending the week of Thanksgiving with the family. Who could want more? This was 7 days of the smoothest water we have ever experienced! Add wonderful warm temperatures and it is pure luxury. What not to like? Attending any of the "entertainment" events puts your life in danger. Princess allows the venues to become over packed with passengers! People are sitting in chairs, on the arms of ...

We wanted a nice, inexpensive cruise leaving from nearby Las Vegas. We drove to Long Beach the day before embarkation and stayed overnight at the Long Beach Best Western, which offered a cruise/parking/port shuttle package which was convenient and completely satisfactory. With one of us in a wheel chair, embarkation was a breeze. Our stateroom was larger than I'd expected, and nicely ...

I was with a large group (11). We chose the ship for the destination of California Coast. Getting on the ship was very smooth. We were able to board about 12:30 pm and our staterooms were ready. We were able to eat lunch in one of the restaurants which was much easier than trying to get to the buffet. The food overall on the cruise was always good, even at the buffet. The buffet did not have as ...

We have been on the Princess line for the Pacific Coastal in the past. We chose this cruise because it went to Monterrey instead of Santa Barbara. We were not disappointed. This is the largest ship we have been on and it was full. The weather was perfect at all ports, The Cruise staff were superb and the menu excellent. We did not take any excursions as we have been to all ports many times but ...

We just got off of the Ruby. California Coastal Cruise. Easiest embarkation ever. No delays or complications. Never stopped walking from curbside to our cabin. Nice Mini suite. Steward was unintrusive but not a spotless cleaner. Showed my husband some dirty things in the bathroom that were there all week. I left them there to see if she would spot and clean it but she did not. And there was ...

Wanted to get away. Been to all the ports before, so just wanted seven days to relax. We did get off the ship to walk around except Ensenada. This was our 19th cruise (18 on Princess) but first time on Ruby. The embarkation was very smooth. Sidewalk to cabin took 30 minutes with no lines as we boarded around noon. We avoided Horizon court for lunch. Had a wonderful first day lunch in the dining ...

Bathroom Shower did not drain Shower leaked – had to put towels on floor daily to catch water from running on floor Only one AC wall plus marked for “shaver only” Wall plug would not accept standard American plug of my water pic. We requested extension cord and were told we had to “pre-order” one. We had to brush our teeth in the wet bar sink Dead flower for four days in ...
