This is my second time on the Ruby Princess, but this last cruise was horrible. The staff was rube and it took forever to et service. I had plan a 15 day cruise next Oct. to Hawaii and I am going to cancel that trip.I can not image spend 15 days with that crew. The public bathrooms were not well tended to.

Embarkation/Debarkation were sadly the best parts of this cruise. The cabin itself was decent and clean. The TV options were better than other cruiselines with a rotating schedule of movies and various other programming. Spending the week of Thanksgiving with the family. Who could want more? This was 7 days of the smoothest water we have ever experienced! Add wonderful warm temperatures and it is pure luxury.

We wanted a nice, inexpensive cruise leaving from nearby Las Vegas. We drove to Long Beach the day before embarkation and stayed overnight at the Long Beach Best Western, which offered a cruise/parking/port shuttle package which was convenient and completely satisfactory. We have been on the Princess line for the Pacific Coastal in the past. We chose this cruise because it went to Monterrey instead of Santa Barbara. We were not disappointed.
