AJ’s Sloth and Monkey sanctuary. We booked this on our own in advance. Shore excursions to these places were longer and more costly. We got transportation and the animal experience for $35 pp. Lots of fun and guide was great.

Great Trip

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Jade

We chose this cruise because of the phenomenal itinerary and price. Service on board was fantastic and ports were amazing! We really enjoyed the Grand Pacific dining room, everywhere you went onboard staff was friendly and helpful. The benefit of travelling at night and waking up in a new place to explore was great. The shore excursions were well run and good value. There was something to do ...

NCL is rapidly becoming my favourite cruise line. They just do everything really well. The ship is in mint condition. No wear and tear anywhere which is astounding. Though smaller than other NCL ships I've recently sailed I actually really enjoyed the size. It's not too big to get around and never seemed overly crowded. We never had to make reservations in any dining room and with the exception of ...

Lots of ports to explore. Excursions were pricy but worth it.

We used points from our Marriott time share. I do not recommend that you use your points for a cruise. The value of the points is no bargain and I gave up my Hawaii timeshare points for three years. The cruise was wonderful! Everything from the ship, personnel, food, entertainment , was great. We didn't spend much time on the ship, taking advantage of the longer excursions to get the full benefit ...

Overall, we had a very pleasant experience on our cruise and would recommend Norwegian to others. There were a few service concerns that could have been improved, but people were willing to help if we sought someone out. The specialty dining meals were excellent, as was the buffet. Service in the general dining rooms could have been improved. The entertainment was fantastic, and I always felt ...

NCL has done it again! Amazing food, and staff! Can’t wait to book again. We had to fly to Rome for this trip so we stayed in Rome afterward. But cruising is so much easier and we stopped in 9 ports in 10 days. The Jade is a medium size ship with enough elevators so that they were never crowded. This ship also has the spinnaker lounge, my favorite place to sit, read, and watch the view. This ...

We chose this as an anniversary cruise and to see the Greek Isles for the first time. We were 100% satisfied in every way. The passengers were 95% retirees so the on-ship vibe was relaxed, moderately paced, courteous, and totally pleasant. The entertainment events on board were extraordinarily excellent and varied-/the best we have experienced in seven cruises on a variety of cruise ...

My first and probably last cruise but Greece and Italy were AMAZING!

We wanted to cruise the Mediterranean and this ship was visiting the places we wanted to see. I have to say though, we didn’t really compare it to any other cruise lines and it was our first cruise. Still, I’m sure I will visit Greece and Italy again, I just won’t cruise. A few things I noted while onboard: Malta- The very best part is the view from the ship in port. It’s breathtaking. ...

This was our second NCl mediterranean cruise in as many years, previously on the Spirit in 2017. The ship is very much like the Spirit, slightly bigger, nicer cabins, more formal ( no quick bite/drink location). Boarding was quick and easy, though the boarding location really needs improving, it was raining and people were getting wet and having to walk though puddles to board. Our cabin 5094 was ...

Wonderful Cruise - Better than Expected

We initially chose this cruise because of the itinerary although we were not sure about the Norwegian Jade as the reviews were very mixed. However, we did enjoy the smaller ship (approx. 2,400 passengers) and it was easy to get around the ship. Embarkation was surprisingly smooth and felt we were onboard and having lunch within minutes. We decided to avoid the busy buffet and went to O'Sheehan's ...

We had an aft balcony cabin 8134 It was a typical cabin at the VERY back of the ship. Shower was a nice size - balcony was not as big as I would like but it fit 2 chairs/table and a lounge. Enough storage space for us suit cases under the bed our cabin stuart - not the best .. but .. after tipping .. he got better !!!! HAHA always wanted ice in the bucket for evenings and he did ...
