Be absolutely clear that Hurtigruten is a ferry service and not a cruise line. We paid for a relaxing cruise but what we received was a passage on a working ship with very little customer care. This cruise was recommended to us by our travel agent as it was more of a experience especially as we have not done any cruises before. Only about 500 people on board which for us was ideal.
