Dining at sunset on formal night. We dressed but many folks did not. We wished we didn't also (less clothes to pack!)

We had been on Independence in 2009 with our little girl who was only 2 yrs at the time. This time we returned she was 9 yrs and had a brother 6 yrs as well . It was really good for them , The splash zone was fantastic they even supplied life vest for the kids which for us was great it gave our 6 yr old a little more freedom to pop in and out of the whirl pools and back into the pools. I ...

Our very first cruise with RCI. Embarkation very smooth and we quickly found ourselves onboard where we made our way to the top deck and had a cocktail. First impressions: The ship was vast. It was incredibly clean and well presented and everything sparkled. The pools looked inviting, their were many sun beds lined up and ready to be used. The bar staff were friendly and funny and we ...

Have never been on a cruise where there were no cruise staff to welcome you on board and offer direction to your cabin. The ship itself was ok, but tired looking. Cheap toiletries ammnenities, had to ask for Kleenex in our cabin. Ridiculous flat old pillows, again had to ask for replacements. Having said this our cabin steward really did a great job looking after our cabin. Friendly and ...

After reading some negative reviews I thought I would share my experience of this ship. We have previously been on independence of the seas and on this occasion we still found the food the same quality as previous. We were allocated King Lear as our main dining room and the waiters were excellent and the choice and quality of food was excellent too. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and ...

We chose this as our first cruise as it was at the right time of the year and the destinations where ideal. Our cabin was an outside cabin with a large window on deck 2. With the flo rider, climbing wall, putting golf, amount of bars and the huge theatre we knew we would have plenty to do. As someone with limited mobility, not wheelchair bound, we wanted a cruise that had everything on board that ...

Young couple. Mid 20s-30s. No kids. 4th cruise. Second time on this ship first time 5 years ago. 1 on grand princess 1 on crown princess. Long story short first time we were on here my gf was only 18 and RC still ran a 21 adult policy. That’s why we went on the princess ships after who ran an 18 policy. Since my gf (now wife is 23) we decided to come back on the independence. Even though its now ...

We love the Indy 2nd time we have been on her this year Lovely Ship Great Staff and me being a Vegan/Vegitarian I have a great choice of food Good entertainment and we love the Quizs We have found the ship is at t it's best in the off peak times of the year, but there again that applies to most Cruises or Land based holidays and as we are both retired we can choose the best time for us to ...

Parking at the port was quick and easy. We were allocated a time slot, I feel no one kept to this, when we arrived at our allocated time majority of the people were already on board, very disappointed the photographers were not present to take our pictures when boarding the ship. This was our third time on this ship and we were disappointed, sadly many passengers do not know how to behave ...
