Dining at sunset on formal night. We dressed but many folks did not. We wished we didn't also (less clothes to pack!)

It was a letdown

I took a cruise 12 years ago and loved it. I was excited about getting to go back to coco cay. I told my wife how amazing it was and told my kids they were gonna love it. When we got to the new coco cay to say I was disappointed would be a huge understatement. Not only have they destroyed the island feel of it. They booked another cruise ship on the island the same day. There was no room in the ...

We have sailed Royal several times but this was our first time taking our kids (17, 15, 12). Pros: lots to do on the ship. Kids enjoyed the arcade, Rick climbing, laser tag, water slides and mini golf. Food was good, not amazing. Lots of repetition in the windjammer which we had not seen on past cruises. Main dining staff were amazing, brought the kids extra things to try every meal. Food ...

Cruise was okay, but food is awful. I was beyond disappointed. Nothing like pictures and videos on YouTube. Desserts were the worse. Mostly flavored pudding with whip cream or small cake. No cake slices like picture. It was a joke. The food taste was blah. Looked pretty and looked appetizing, but taste was flavorless. I think COVID has something to do with them making short ends. Not many places ...

Great Family Cruise with Teenage Grandkids-Both Cabins needed maintenance!

Been on RCCL many times (Diamond Members) and this was a family cruise for the Teenage Grandkids. Everyone had a good time, and the ship overall exceeded our expectations for a 4 night family type cruise. The Food variety was a little more limited (especially in the Windjammer) but actually very good in all the free offerings. Entertainment especially "Grease" was well done. The activity ...

This cruise has me hungry for more! The staff was wonderful. Igede, Ramazan and Joko were stand outs! The entertainment was riveting! There were ice shows, kareoke, juggling acts, Broadway shows and much more! Honestly, something for everyone. The food was magnificent. The dining experience was truly divine. (Igede made it a much more pleasant dining experience) Ramazan was efficient and ...

Noise After Midnight Every Night

We chose this Cruise as a last minute thing for some reasons related to an upcoming Medical procedure. Our only option with a guaranteed inside cabin. The cabin was okay as far as storage goes, the bed was a little too firm, and the switch to the bathroom is on the outside. Therefore every time someone into the bathroom at night it lit up the entire room. This was our third time on Royal ...

Great Time with Friends on Independence!

Our group sailed for 4 nights on IOTS. Most of us had adjoining cabins, so we opened the partitions between our balconies for socializing in the morning and lounging together at sea. Highlights: Embarkation: We had The Key, which granted us priority boarding right behind the Suite and Pinnacle guests. Port Canaveral Terminal 1 is very nice and our wait to board was very short. We ...

Not what we were expecting

Our son had us try Royal Caribbean because we are avid Carnival Cruisers. We were not impressed with the food, or service on this cruise. Not only were wait staff not friendly most were very rude to us and we watched them be rude to others. Even tipping good did not change their demeanor. Everything is extra on this ship. Toddlers could not play with older siblings in the water park and ...

Poor - Overbooked/Weak attractions/Unsanitary. Save your money.

Such a waste of our savings. The greed of Royal Caribbean is pretty sickening. They should be ashamed. I doubt they would even blink. We felt very misled on their attractions and offerings. Example 1 - I went for an abs class/seminar. There was no actual abs seminar or workout, it was rather a ruse to attempt to sell me their health products. Waste of cruise time. Example 2 - Coco Bay - you have ...

If you are looking for a fun cruise and you don't want to take a week off of work or a week away from your kids - I encourage you to check out 3 night weekend cruises. I took this cruise in March with my two sisters to celebrate my 50th birthday. It was a great mix of relaxation, great food and entertainment with a party atmosphere. Moms will understand how great it is for someone else to cook and ...
