Dining at sunset on formal night. We dressed but many folks did not. We wished we didn't also (less clothes to pack!)

We chose this cruise because of the dates and price. We were able to go the week before Christmas and save a great deal of money. We are 2 professionals and 2 girls, 12 and 15. We had 2 side by side inside cabins, 6467 and 6469. I paid $848, including fees for each room. I booked the cruise in May We spent the night in Ft Lauderdale the day before at Marriott Beach Place towers and loved it, ...

This was a 5 day cruise to celebrate a birthday before returning home to the UK. We were a little nervous as we received an email about late boarding due to "sanitation" of the ship? When we were able to get to our cabins a few things were missing but that was soon rectified when we notified our steward. There were staff everywhere with sanitising lotion and all food outlets had to be served, ...

Short Cruise to get away with the family. Had Grandparents, kids and grand kids all together for the first time. Let me start by saying we were in a Suite for the very first time. It does make a difference in the experience. When on RCCL again, will almost definitely stay in a Suite. Prior sailing had a Norovirus outbreak. Our embarkation was delayed so ship cold be sanitized. Due to the ...

We booked 4 balcony cabins for our children and grandchildren to enjoy Christmas together for the first time in many years. The previous month, my sister and I enjoyed a wonderful transatlantic cruise on Royal Caribbean's sister ship, Freedom of the Seas, and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, all of us were nervous because the Independence had just had a norovirus outbreak and it had been all over ...

Parking.... Parked at Park N Fly. It is seconds from the Port and you can park and lock your car and take your keys (worth the few dollars extra from the other lots and still cheaper than Port parking). They pick you up at car with luggage on arrival/drop you at car when you depart (pre-pay on line and just show receipt upon exiting). Port Everglades is a jumble of terminals and parking and ...

love chops and giovanni and the 70s party. the 70s party did not have any of those light up things being thrown to the crowd that was a bummer. Giovannis was spectacular. I find it kind of amazing I have NEVER used the washy washy in all my trips on royal and the ONE time i do i get the virus. The solarium was anice place to rest and our cabin on deck 3 which i did not really ...

Disgustingly filthy

Needed a stress free vacation.Anything but. It started with a filthy bathroom and a toilet that they said couldn't be fixed. It was. I had to have the cabin cleaned twice, including sticky cabinets and dirty floors. On another occasion, the toilet stopped working because of a clogged line and the heat had to be fixed. The toilet paper is like sand paper and not even plastic bags in the ...

This 5 day cruise was on a ship we had taken before - we booked late so had only a couple of options for our cabin - we chose an outside cabin on deck 3 aft - the cabin had a great location - near everything. First time w have not had a balcony in a long time and it was fine especially since the weather was not great for part of the time. Cabin was small but clean - the steward, Saym was ...

I got a great price last minute for a connected Deck 6 promenade view room and was able to be off. Two adults in room one, one adult, one child in second room. Upon checking in, asked queen bed to be converted to twins and locked door opened between rooms. This was done quickly, our stateroom attendant was friendly and hard working. These rooms look down on busy promenade area which is a major ...
