First time sailing Celebrity. We wanted to go to Antartica (but not on an expedition ship). The itinerary was great! However, we missed the Falkland (Malvinas) Island stop due to it being a tendered stop and the weather was not great (or so they said). That created a little too many sea days all together. I'll try to sum up this review quickly:
POSITIVES:
Antartica/penguins/icebergs - ...
Supposedly a premium company, the ship is too old, the furnitures are damaged, rusty paints on canine’s balcony, average food, savings have been made everywhere and it transpires on the ship, on the equipments and on the service.
For that particular cruise selling the magical Chilean Fjords and Cap Horn is just a lie. You go around the fjords by night and never see anything impressive just ...
The ship was nice, but starting to show its age. Upholstery on the chairs in the dining rooms are starting to crack, the leather parts. The chairs in the Sonesta dining rooms, and many places elsewhere on the ship were so deep in the seat that they were not comfortable to sit on without asking for a pillow for support.
Stateroom were nice and well appointed, but also starting to show wear. ...
Why pay three times more for a cruise line that is no different than a mainstream cruise line? by cutting corners on food since the food is actually worse than MSC.
Limited entertainment venues, just the captain taking over the PA for an hour about navigation details no one cares about, just get us there!

Our 7 dec 2023-6 jan 2024 celebrity cruise had a great itinerary and wonderful staff but, was a disappointment on many levels, especially when celebrity air left us stranded. so, with almost 20 cruises under our belts, several of them celebrity, and many more in our future, we will never cruise celebrity again.
Here are the details, starting with the positive: the 30 day south american ...
Departure was delayed by three and half an hours without any communication even to their own crew members who started sailing away party on deck already but have to cancel it. Captain didn’t apologize for the delay instead just say that is out of our control because the supply loading was slow. C

We elected to purchase this cruise because of the price, and the itinerary (many ports we had not been to before.) We have been on six prior Celebrity cruises and even on this ship. Our overall experience was disappointing. First and foremost, the food in the main dinning room was sub par. The steaks were as thin as a pancake and no matter how discribed on the menu they were the same steak. ...
Cruised Celebrity Eclipse in a Royal Suite Dec 1 – 6 Long Beach / San Pedro to Cabo San Lucas, San Diego and back to Long Beach / San Pedro. This was our 54th cruise on various cruise lines RCCL (34), Princess (10), Celebrity (7), Holland (2), Norwegian (2), and Carnival (1). Our first was 1994 so we’ve seen all the changes and cutbacks, and this review is not about that. We booked this cruise to ...
This was our 17th cruise. We have sailed on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian and MSC.
We have sailed on 6 prior Celebrity cruises, one of which was a past sailing on the Eclipse to Alaska. This trip was to Mexico with a 2 day stop in Cabo San Lucas. The focus of this post is what we have noticed has changed. First and understandably is the price. Everything is increasing in ...

We were lucky enough to moveup to a sunset sky suite. So we ate in luminae for most meals. Most meals were exceptional but one night we didn't careful anything on the menu. We asked for an optional steak and the NY strip they brought ...
