As expected considering the price

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

We had a nice time, there is no question about it. Staff was solid during the whole trip and there was always something to do. Entertainment was enjoyable outside of the family feud game which was a mess. The ship is from 2007 and you can tell at times. There might be a facelift in the near future. It did feel crowded so I think if we were to take another cruise in the future it would probably ...

I had a great time on Liberty of the Seas. I was a Solo Traveler, First Cruise. This is an older but very clean ship. The Crew was professional and helpful. There were many activities and events for all ages. However, if you want to go slow and relax, there was space for that, as well. We cruised to Bermuda and stayed two days. I bought my excursion from the Cruise Line. The tour guide was funny ...

Sailed July 8th 2023 to Bermuda from Port Liberty, NJ. Myself, my husband, and our two adult daughters. Embarkation started off a little confusing, they told us to be there at a specific time, but this was not enforced, and after a while they just told everyone to come into the building. Once in there, check in was super quick. Excellent. Our rooms, two connecting Junior Suites on Deck 9, ...

The food was expected however the ship was hot all week. There was no air conditioning on the bar and restaurant floors and it feels like this was on purpose. Each day the common areas were very warm and uncomfortable, you couldn't sit at a bar and enjoy a drink. It feels like they keep these areas warm so you are unwilling to drink after you spent several hundred dollars on a drink ...

Best Overall Ship I have Been On, Not Perfect But Still Very Good

I’m writing this review to correct what I think were some inappropriately negative reviews that left out a lot of good things about this ship. I’ve done over 50 cruises, about half of them with Royal. - This ship had the best gym of any ship I‘ve been on including Oasis and Allure. Just the presence of an Olympic bar adds a lot of value to the gym and the rest is very good too. - The ...

We don't like flying so this ship sails out of the NY area. The ship itself is starting to look a bit worn. Our Balcony cabin was very nice. Every time you called the front desk from our room there was always a few minute wait. This carried on though out the ship as it holds 4,600 guest and 1500 crew. Anywhere you went on the ship you were always bucking big crowds. Especially at dinner, we ...

I chose this cruise because I live in an over 55 community and we were trying to go on a short cruise out of Bayonne so that most people could experience a cruise for the first time. We have 30+ people in our group. I have taken many many cruises in the past and my expectations were not great but I understood that the price was so cheap that I really wanted to go with friends not really care ...

Just an OK Cruise

We chose this cruise to Bermuda for its location and not having to take a flight to the pier. We had one person who was a full time wheelchair user. Embarkment was easy and quick. That was the only thing that was quick for a wheelchair user. The elevators were always full and no one would offer to make room for the person on the wheelchair when they were perfectly able to use the stairs. The food ...

Probably my last with RCCL

I would really like to give 1.5 stars, so I bumped it up to 2. I was overall pretty disappointed with this cruise. I just felt it was really lacking, and quite honestly, I felt like I was on Carnival a good majority of the time. And it seems as though that was the crowd that RCCL may have been shooting for. Embarkation/Debarkation: One of not many positives, but easily the best experience ...

Embarkation was very smooth, one of quickest ever had. Cabins were not opened until 1:30 pm we were onboard before noon. Since you do not get your onboard cards until get to room you use your cabin number to charge drinks until then. Menus and most information all on RCL App with they tell you is mandatory to download before cruising. Pays to do it as speeds embarkation too. Yes you can cruise ...
