This was our 18th cruise for my husband and I, and the 13th for our children.
We had anytime dining, and the first night we had signed up for 5:45 dining as we wanted to see the Welcome show. The rest of the week we had signed up for 7:00 dining time. Even though we had MTD, we had the same waiter every night. That was good, as he was wonderful! Since one daughter has multiple allergies, ...
Our extended family group of 9 (four adults and five children 17, 16, 14, 13 and 8) traveled on the Liberty of Seas (western Caribbean route) on July 8, 2018 and thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Liberty. We have taken quite a few cruises over the years.
Embarkation was smooth, we were on the ship quickly and rooms were available promptly at 1pm. The Windjammer café was packed for lunch, ...
We choose this based on previous cruise with Royal and the stops. The entertainment was great, service was great.
We would not recommend the additional dining package as the main dining room is fantastic. And we tried the drink package and don't recommend that either as it was difficult to drink that much and the staff didn't seem to appreciate the drink package people.
Overall the ...
We just returned from our first ever cruise, and we are now hooked!!! Royal Caribbean ship Liberty of the Seas, and ALL of its employees were AMAZING!!!!! Shore excursions were outstanding!! We traveled with a large party of 17 people, ranging in age from 4 to 70, and we were all catered to and SO completely entertained! No request we made was too much to ask for, and was granted swiftly and with ...
We have taken 2 other cruises with Royal Caribbean and always satisfied with value. We enjoy Galveston port which is close to home. The staff is always friendly and the drinks are strong - they do not skimp on alcohol. Just be aware that they try to upsell you on everything. So be prepared to say no and you will be fine.
Cafe on promenade deck is open 24/7 so you can always get free coffee and ...
For a first ever cruise I really have nothing to compare it to accept to say I really enjoyed myself. It started off kinda rocky in that It started raining and I came at a time when the embarkation had grown busy. I lived close enough to drive in and park across for the terminal. I checked one large suitcase and carried on a small, a backpack, and a raincoat. Although I had read not to go to ...
Let me begin with --- We love the Daily Rant done by Jeff, the cruise director!!! There was a lot of relevant information for each day and we looked forward to turning on the television when we returned to the room after the day's events. His humor was hilarious. Almost everyday we shared some of his jokes with our friends. We seriously thought about trying to break the tinder boat record or ...
We love cruising and realize the benefits of staying with one cruise line. After trying a few, Royal Carribean has won our vote. The food is excellent, service was quick and friendly, wide open pool area with many more places to sit and see the pool and activities. Shows and entertainment were wonderful and there were multiple choices for all types of personalities and ages through each day. ...
We chose this cruise because it fit the needs for my daughter and daughter-in-law to marry. The cruise turned out to be far more.
The staff was remarkable at every turn. Their cordiality was an entirely welcome change from land-locked vacation spots. The shopping and the almost continuous offers of free gifts turned out to be icing on the cake. I could hardly turn around without someone with a ...
I’ve been on about a dozen cruises on pretty much all of the major cruise lines. We went on a cruise on the RCL Liberty of the Seas. We had 3 generations of our family there, with age ranges from 18-81.
The ship was nice, similar to other large cruise ships we have been on in the past. A few callouts on what we thought of the ship.
