Promised a lot when booked on the phone but had to keep asking on ship. Great employees onboard that made my first cruise enjoyable.
Excursions too pricy and not enough time. Cozumel was nice but not enough time to visit ruins and beach so stayed in port area.

We choose this based on previous cruise with Royal and the stops. The entertainment was great, service was great.
We would not recommend the additional dining package as the main dining room is fantastic. And we tried the drink package and don't recommend that either as it was difficult to drink that much and the staff didn't seem to appreciate the drink package people.

We have taken 2 other cruises with Royal Caribbean and always satisfied with value. We enjoy Galveston port which is close to home. The staff is always friendly and the drinks are strong - they do not skimp on alcohol. Just be aware that they try to upsell you on everything. So be prepared to say no and you will be fine.
