I have sailed on Freedom 3 times so I expected Liberty to be very much like it, but even better as they just had a revamp not to long ago. we were with a 17 and 20 year old. The ship was identical to the Freedom in every way with the exception of the added water slides and upgraded kiddie area.
The positives:
* The shows were great but fill up VERY QUICKLY. Make sure you arrive for a ...
This is our third Royal Caribbean Cruise. Unfortunately, this experience did not compare to my prior two cruises.
The crew in general were unfriendly, not quite over the line of rude, but definitely not interested in being their or serving the passengers. They were completely unfriendly. Either they did not know what they were doing or supposed to do or they did not enjoy their jobs at all. ...
I wanted to try a different cruise line. I liked this cruise very much!! Can't wait to cruise again. The staff was all very friendly toward us. Loved all the shops. I liked all the stops we made. I really enjoyed Mexico. Anthony & Rahul gave Excellent service in the Main Dining Room. I can't wait to tell my friends about this cruise. Now, to decide where to go to next? Enjoyed have our friends on ...
2 adults no children. We took this cruise to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. We took this cruise because the price for the cruise was great. We've sailed on RCL's Liberty of the Seas before and like the ship and the ship's layout. It is a beautiful ship. We would take the cruise itinerary again if the price of the cruise is right.
Our embarkation time was delayed due to the weather. ...
I actually earned the cruise from my workplace. They booked it for us. Me and my husband were excited since this was our first cruise. We went with a group of co-workers. We were able to do a lot together. The Shore excursions were very fun. We took a jeep tour and went and seen some Mayan Ruins. We had a great lunch on the beach, with the best quadahmole I have ever tasted.
One day my ...
Sailed b2b on 4/23 & 4/30 with good friends. Made many new friends as well. Good food in MDR. Still dislike my time dining, but dealt with it. Chops on first week was terrible (enough so that our group of 6 was given another meal. The second meal was stupendous. Our favorite meal, however was in Giovanni's, wonderful filet. Our waiter brought us every appetizer & pasta dish to share (family ...
My husband and I took our very first cruise last year. We chose Carnival "Victory" specifically for the Eastern Caribbean ports of call. While it was an amazing first cruise, we felt like there was something better waiting for us on another cruiseline --and boy, were we right.
We just completed our second cruise on Sunday to the Western Caribbean aboard Royal Caribbean's "Liberty of the ...
We love cruising and are diamond members on Royal Caribbean, one cruise shy of the diamond plus level, but we are now sorry we spent so much trying to get to the diamond level. If we embark from Galveston, there are usually about 600 diamond members for a room that may fit 30 people. Even though we buy the premium drink package ahead of time, we are asked to buy the package at least 20 times a ...
This cruise had so many good things - but the start was not a good one! I'm sorry to agree with the other reviews about the Galveston port, but embarkation was a complete disaster. We stood in line for over three hours, with no communication from the cruise line. Disembarkation was just as bad, since we had a weather delay of over three hours. They seem to have no experience with crowd ...
Most "activities" were seminars or something to sell you something. It all started with mt massage when I first got on the ship. The massage was pretty bad, the worst i've had, and I've only gone to student masseuses at home. The massage was followed by a high pressure sales pitch to buy almost $200 in products. With all of the ongoing sales pitches, including on your TV in the room, and the tiny ...
