The Great Outdoors. Has a nice size bar and buffet. Best of all, it's own soft-serve ice machine.

It was my first time in Norvegian company. I had already made many cruises with most of other companies (such as costa; royal carebean, celebrity, princes etc). This was the one which I didnot like much. Ship was ok. It was renovated in a good condition. has 4,5 stars. I always get balcony stateroom (since I am a little claustrophobic). This was normal BA cathegory but ıt was the smallest one I ...

Not up to the quality level of previous NCL cruises

For a 11 day cruise there was only non NCL production and one NCL crew show. The rest of the nights were fill ins that were not all that great. It was some thing to do but not the quality that you would expect from NCL on a 11 day cruise. The breakfast in the buffet was ok it was food but it had no variety. It took a couple of days for them to get the scrambled eggs scrambled instead being ...

Used BOGO Air, and received flight information approximately 65 days prior to cruise. Flights were from Houston to Montreal, then Montreal to Venice. Had a one day deviation and arrived without any flight issues or delays on the morning of the 13th. Booked hotel and transfers with NCL, and NCL transfer person was easy to find right outside of baggage claim area, although we had to wait about 30 ...

Good itinerary but ship lacking in entertainment

We have been on 5 Norwegian cruises before but generally on bigger boats. We found the service was great but entertainment lacking. There was rarely a disc jockey or band at the pool for more than 45 minutes during the day. They had a performance at the theatre every night but not a broadway caliber show. There were not comedians there was a couple of solo singers in bars and not too much ...

Our Least Favorite NCL Cruise

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Gem

This was our 6th cruise on NCL and this was our least favorite ship. Our inside room on deck 10 was one of the smallest we have stayed in. The bathroom was so small my knees hit the wall when sitting on the toilet. The bathroom had very low water pressure and the water drained very slowly in the shower. The ATM machine was not working when we needed it. The entertainment was subpar for NCL. ...

THE WORST...

It was our first cruise. They turned it into an expensive disaster. Our state room has a tag reading : "This room was cleaned and disinfected". We enter the room, my 7 years old daughter needs to use the toilet and then she calls me in. I find, dirt and hair from the previous customers and their excrement in the toilet bowl. Inside, the toilet was a nightmare. Now, mentioning the hairs and the ...

My family and I were originally supposed to take this cruise in 2020 and it was postponed until 2023. Prior to the cruise, we found the customer service lacking in that the representatives did not know the answers to our questions. You could tell that they were just referring to some NCL handbook about how to troubleshoot questions but they had limited information. Once on board, the customer ...

We picked this cruise because we cruised with Norwegian on the Spirit in 2018. The food was average at best, breakfast was worst, the best meal we had was Tappenyaki which we paid extra for. The smell on the corridors was awful almost like effluent. Some staff were OK but that was only a few, many looked like they didn't want to be there and it was hard for them to crack a smile. The ...

Itinerary very appealing. However, one week prior to departure, e mail from Norwegian stating we would not have a day in Venice. Instead boat was docked in Trieste, 1.5 hours east of Venice. The excursion we originally booked for an evening in St. Mark's Cathedral was cancelled. Be aware, no cruise ships are allowed to dock in Venice. These companies know that so why do they put it on their ...
