Better cruise than before, we were previously on Divina last year, MSC has pluses & minus's Plus Big clean ship, shows not bad, upgraded to Balcony very nice big room, MSC upgraded us both as we are Diamond+ on RCI, with some nice touches added as a black card holder. Minus Food, buffet is manic, cant find a seat, food selection limited (compared to Princess or NCL. Main meals ok ...

This was booked as a short break that fit in with a visit to Hamburg followed by a 3 night mini cruise back to the UK. My expectation levels were not high an, mainly due to that, I was not disappointed. For such a large ship it did feel somewhat claustrophobic - not helped by ceiling heights that seemed somewhat lower than on most other cruise ships I have been on.the lack of dining choices and ...

Good itinerary, mediocre ship

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Splendida

We chose the cruise for the itinerary and the sailing date, although we had a bad experience with MSC before. We did not book any transport or excursions with MSC but made our own arrangements. Embarkation was the usual tedious business, disembarkation was worse because we had to vacate the cabin at 7:30 and could not leave until 9:45. There are too few restrooms in the public areas and the ...

We had sailed with M.S.C. before and really enjoyed the experience. We went in July, having gone in June the pervious year, and we found a lot more children on board. We stayed in Barcelona for 2 nights before the cruise, and 2 nights after the cruise. It is one of our favorite cities and we love exploring it, M.S.C. embarkation must be one of the smoothest in any cruise line, luggage is ...

Yacht club amazing

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on MSC Splendida

Sailed on Splendida before and liked the two cruises back to back out of Hamburg. Service was amazing in the Yatch Club. Sailed the Norwegian fiords 15 days then to Iceland for 11 days, could have stayed longer. The Yatch club made excursion very easy as you were escorted off and back by staff therefore bypassing all the queues. The only negative for us was that as we are Australian we only ...

We book the cruise on MSC because of the ship look nice in the pic; the route is very interesting so we book it. Before we had some cruise with NCL and Celebrity. So we can compare a little. In the first impression it looks all very nice, the ship is in a good condition, and it’s clean. Not perfect, but it's OK. We booked some beverage packages, like Cappuccino, Water and bottle wine, so far so ...

MSC Orchestra Fantastic Ship & great itinerary

This was our 3rd cruise with MSC (previously on Presiosa and Splendida). Orchestra is a slightly smaller ship that those we’ve previously been on but it it still very big and has plenty on board. Great selection of bars, coffee shops, shops etc. It was spotlessly clean, well maintained and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, all speak English well. Good mix of guests on ...

We chose this cruise as a way to experience an inside cabin - we had always had a balcony before, but seeing all of the great offers available for insides we thought a two night break would be the ideal way to give it a go, and if we didn't like it then there was no great loss. The cabin was spacious and well appointed with shower room. I hear gripes of people who don't like shower curtains as ...

If English speaking do not choose this cruise.

The travel Agency Arch Vacations chose this Cruise and ship. The cruise was to Ireland/Scotland/Germany. It had primarily Germans and Italians and only about 100 English speaking passengers. The travel agency should never book for English speaking persons. It catered to the Germans. The food was not very good and the entertainment and activities were lacking in every way. I would never go on this ...
