Cruised with Princess twice before and had a great experience again this time. Professional, Solid service each time. Cabin was cleaned well each day and had kind, service each mealtime with really good variety and quality of food. Entertainment was good and the excursions were top notch for the money. I'm just sad I lost so much at the casino.
They allowed us to upgrade to a balcony cabin ...
We choice this cruise because we want to see the glacier in Tracy bay, we didn't get into see the glaciers due to flowing ice in the arm area. Do NOT book spa services ahead of cruise you can get better deals on the ship (they provide discounts) that they don't provide on the internet. SAD. Do NOT book a meal at the Crown Grill the food was disappointing and you can't send it back without them ...
This cruise was chosen by a member of our Bolivia II reunion group [not sure how or why]. I wanted to take this trip with friends so of course signed up for it. In the beginning, out Cruise Planner was very attentive. As the date for our departure drew nearer, the size of our group decreased due to health issues and other conflicts. At this time, I was no longer able to make contact with I placed ...
Chose this for 30th anniversary trip. Pretty disappointing. Contrary to octogenarian reviews, the food is truly mediocre and seems to be a training session for nursing home food. We were especially disappointed in the 6 course meal that was an add on at “SHARE”. Truly average. Bars were fun and service there was pretty good. The “SHOW” called Magic??? Something...was really really bad. My wife ...
Emerald Princess cabin B614. We LOVED ALASKA. We take an Annual trip with siblings and spouses where 7 of the 9 of us have never been to Alaska. We are active seniors. We chose Princess because of their offers: No gratuity, on board credit, casino credit, cabin upgrade (which we did not get). We were disappointed with the entertainment, a boring magician with old tricks, their broadway type ...
We planned a once in a lifetime Alaskan vacation, the whole family. We found the food to be subpar, either bland or over spicy. Most meals at the buffet were either heavily influenced by Asian or India food. Wait staff at the buffet seemed miserable and looked at us as an inconvenience for being there. Very strict alcohol policy even with the purchase of the premium beverage package. They ...
This was a bucket list destination trip for me. The cruise was my gift from my kids for my 60th birthday. I was born in Alaska and have always wanted to go back . I have not been back since I was a child. My sister and I traveled together.
From embarkation on we were treated well. Getting on the ship was smooth and painless. Getting off the ship was slower and behind by 45 min. when we ...
Went on cruise with another couple. The crew directors and waitstaff are hard working.
Christine, our dinner attendant in the Boticello Dining room, is excellent. Every crewperson we came across was courteous and helpful.
We had a nice room with Balcony mid ship on Baja deck 11. We did a lot of stairs to get to the food places . Elevators are available but took a long time to arrive ...
My husband and I booked this cruise as we've always wanted to tour Alaska via a cruise ship someday. Additionally, we chose to share the experience with our son and his fiance--was SO much fun with them along! :) It really benefited us financially as we received some hefty military discounts (husband is retired military (Air Force), son is in the Marines, and his fiance is active duty Air Force ...
The cruise staff were mostly rude. To get anything from drinks to room service was a hassle even though we had the drink package. The staff generally seemed like they didn't care at all about the passengers. We booked all of our excursions through princess but when we asked about prices for the same trips in town it was revealed that we payed two to three times more than what's offered at the ...
