Worse Princess Cruise ever

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Emerald Princess

We have done multiple cruises with Princess and this one was by far the worse one. Unfriendly crew, poor entertainment, very poor food with the exception of the Crown Grill, internet was 50/50, either it worked or it didn't. Room service was super slow. Never seen any of the top crew members, like the captain or leading officers. SPA was terrible, overpriced but the biggest complaint was the ...

Promises, Promises, Promises....(Before and after catching Covid)

Our British Isles cruise on Emerald Princess that started 26 June did not begin well. We had done all necessary actions to ensure a promised swift passage through the Embarkation Hall. However so had the vast majority of those boarding and then the tightly packed long queue was told there was a software problem. The dining room waiters and our cabin steward were excellent. Sadly the fare in ...

We wanted to see parts of the UK that we typically did not see when visiting family so chose this cruise for its length and ports of call. Specifically, the things we enjoyed were: > stops in ports of interest in England, Scotland and Ireland > ports of Guernsey and the Orkeny Islands - not often accessed through mainland visits to the UK Things we learned: > Although we were aware ...

British Isles Cruise - the one where Princess cuts costs at every possible place! I think there should be a law against saying it stops at say Dublin for example and then you have to find you way there at extra cost because your miles away. You need to factor extra spends such as £10 to Edinburgh, $20 le Harve, £13 Belfast, Dublin around £6 , Glasgow not sure as booked a tour here, same in Cork. ...

Wanted to see my Ancestry home of my Grandfather . I was limited to what I could did due to a severe broken Shoulder in May so I only could use one hand and could not carry any weight. Mostly everything went well except. Two problems thatPrincess failed to help with . Flew into London. With the usual airport delays but we made it on time and safely after 3 changes in our flights. Air booked by ...

Embarkation was the quickest we have ever had at Southampton, just 30 mins from dropping the car off till we got in the cabin.Ours was a normal balcony cabin, but only had one chair in the cabin. The ship itself needs a lot of paint work done outside, and inside feels dark and dated. Some areas are taken up by a large picture gallery and photo displays, which would be better used for passenger ...

Living in California, most people cruise to destinations such as Alaska, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Prior to this cruise, I had never considered the British Isles as a destination. I wish I found this sooner! Traveling to places I've always wanted to see since I was a child - Dublin, the Blarney stone, the Giants Causeway, and more was a fantastic experience. The ports on my cruise were (in ...

Good bits; Embarkation very quick and professional. Ships decor top quality, has a rich feel in bars and main restaurants. Entertainment very good, comedians, bands, violinists, singers something for everyone most times. Service very good in bars and restaurants. Good itinerary around British Isles and Le Havre. Weather really good. Not so good; Food in main restaurant was ...

We has this cruise canceled twice by Covid. I’m on board. Here are some notes from the Emerald Princess Baha deck on the British Isles Cruise June 14, 2022 Don’t bother ordering Jamison‘s scotch listed on the room service menu - they don’t have it on a trip to Scotland. And don’t ask for Raisin Bran or special K listed on the room service menu- not available. The announcements ...

Currently on this cruise in cabin B322. Round Uk cruise. Let me start with the positives. The staff are great. Very helpful and friendly. And I personally like the outside deck layout. Our cabin is fine, not large but pretty standard. But unfortunately that's where the good news ends. The main complaint onboard is the dining, or more specifically the lack of dining. Good food is in ...
