Embarkation was very efficient and swift, got to the port via Park N Go at 1:15 and on board by 1:40 p.m. Went to the Endless pool on deck 9 for a quick drink and slice of pizza. Pizza okay as a snack but nothing to jump up and down about.
Had an ocean suite on deck 7 midship. Which was a great location close enough to elevators and stairs. Our room attendant was Ronnie. He, along with his great ...
Very easy embarkation other than the longer than expected wait parking our car at the KSA remote lot.
Bus driver made us load and unload our own luggage ... she seemed more interested in making sure that her cigarette didn't burn out while it was laying on the ground.
A little disapponted that Carnival no longer does sushi before dinner ... but the mini apps were pretty good.
Cabin was very ...
This makes our 4th Carnival cruise (Miracle, Victory, Dream, and Freedom). Since our last 2 cruises were on were on R.C.'s Allure and Oasis ships (loved these ships) it was challenging not to compare the Freedom to our RC experiences.
Lido Deck: buffet food is buffet food ... if you choose to eat buffet don't complain. They had a wide variety of choices every day (hot dogs/hamburgers, Mongolian ...
This was mine and my husbands third cruise, this was our second on Carnival. After searching the possible cruises back in January, we found this one to be the best for us. We traveled with our youngest daughter and her 3 1/2 year old daughter. (This was their first cruise experience) The timing had to be over her spring break from school and when we have to take into consideration the cost to fly, ...
Disappointing to say the least. We have cruised every year for the past 21 years, mostly on Carnival. I realize the cruise fare is fairly low, but we did not get a bargain basement price. The itinerary was great! Onboard, though, a different story. We ate mostly in the main dining room (lunch was never available in the dining room). Service was very very slow, waiting 45 minutes one day just to ...
Just back from the Carnival Freedom on Sunday. It was fantastic! Let me start by saying that this was my 8th cruise (5th on Carnival) and it was by far the best. Carnival has really stepped up their game and placed thought into many areas. All my pics are on a you-tube video folks. Here is the link http://youtu.be/UZLqkKgdQ3A
Here we go:
Carnival Freedom - Great ship! It will be even better ...
This was a last minute decission for us to go because i was waiting on passports to get in mail. My husband couldn't go because of work so it was myself, daughter and sister-inlaw. We don't see my sister in law much at all but she so much fun.
We booked hotels for 2 nights before cruise and also 1 night after. We stayed at Quality Inn. Nothing great about the hotel. Was near and shopping area so ...
Overall- a good time with family and friends on the Freedom. We were a group of 21. Embarkation was quick we were asked to not show up until 2pm but showed up around 11:30am. I had three ,carnival gift cards, presented them at check-in they weren't sure how to enter them so it slowed down the process slightly. Overall not much of a wait.
The ship is nice, there are 2 dining rooms one for your ...
This was our first cruise and we took our 5 girls, ages 13, 11, 10, 9 and 8 .. And had an absolute blast ..
Stayed at the CAMBRIA SUITES in Dania Beach the night before (Feb.7th) .. It was great .. No complaints ... $5 pp shuttle to port .. I believe every hour .. SUBWAY and some Cuban Restaurant are within a 10 min. walk .. Oakwood Plaza is further and has more options .. $20 taxi R/T ...
Here is my overview of our recent trip on the Carnival Freedom – 6 Night Western Caribbean. We are a pretty laid-back couple (late 30’s) and this was our first cruise together (I sailed on RCL in 2005).
Ft. Lauderdale – we stayed the night prior to our cruise at the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas Blvd. A great street with lots of bars & restaurants. We took a trolley ($2/person) to Ft. L. Beach. We ...
