Compared to reviews from the 2-3 weeks preceding our cruise, our weather was superb. We choose this cruise to celebrate birthday's! My son turned 16 on the 16th and my husband and sis-n-law both had birthdays on the 21st! Most frustrating was the FOG delay at Galveston. We lost 1.5 sailing days and then were delayed 6 hours disembarking. In these 'modern' times I would have expected the ship and shore to synch up with radar ( perhaps buoys too) and come right in. Silly?
