What a wonderful getaway with the perfect weather Awesome and friendly staff. Total relaxation. Stress and hassle free holiday. No problems with embarkation . Disembarkation getting luggage was a bit of a hassle finding luggage, bags were scattered all over the place and the colour coded tags which were given on board were missing so we had to look around for luggage which took a ...

Generally the cruise was great. Embarking and disembarking was smooth. We didn't do any shore excursions beyond the free transfer to the beach. Great entertainment. Pleasant staff. Good food. I requested for the 6pm dinner sitting and they assigned us to the 8:30pm dinner sitting without telling us. Normally 6pm is oversubscribed. Check your cruise card to make sure. The frozen ...

A relaxing break away. A holiday all in one. A definite value for money. No traffic and no network. mentally and physically shutdown. 24hrs service the staff so friendly and available anytime needed. hats off to the chefs for feeding us all day long well done the food was great. The staff made one forget about feeling the ship sailing activities around the clock. Was a bit nervous about ...

A good break away

I chose this cruise because I needed a break and because of the itinerary. On the whole the cruise was really good and I would recommend it if you are a family with children, couple, friendship group, or are looking for a 'booze/party' cruise. First of all the staff were flawless, nothing was too much trouble and all the crew I came into contact with were friendly, helpful and just a ...

We had a wonderful cruise once again! Was a bit disappointed that instead of going to Pomene we went to the Portuguese islands again due to weather concerns and rough seas. Children cruised for the second time and loved it even more this time. Great for ages 4 and 6! Was slightly disappointed with the service especially at the pool bar as you had to wait extended periods of time to be served. ...

Best Holiday I have been on so far

My mom had been on this cruise before. When she came back home she could not stop raving about it! Then my boss went on it, and another one in the Caribbean. She then suggested I give it a shot too. I did, and honestly I had the time of my life. My colleagues were so jealous and they all want to go as well! haha :-) Embarkation and disembarkation was really smooth. We had no problems at all. ...

The ship is very clean and is well maintained. Food at restaurant is great and the staff is exceptional. Cabins are always clean and tidy and very comfortable. Great activities were offered throughout the day and the entertainment in the lounges is amazing. You really feel like you are in a different world and you get the chance to relax. Though we did not book any excursions, we have on prior ...

Disappointed

This was my 5th cruise with MSC in South African waters and I was disappointed. Firstly it is a total nightmare to park your vehicle in the parking at the harbour. To be waiting for more than 2 hours in a queue to park your vehicle not acceptable, previous trips it didn't take even half an hour. We do understand that the weather does have an effect on the cruise but we were all sad when we ...

1st time cruising. Had a great time. Defintely doing it again. Service needs to be better in the lounges. We were very impressed with the way the change our destination was handled so smoothly. There was bad whether and we had to change from going to Pomene to the Portuguese Islands. What an awesome experience. A great idea for a prepaid drinks package would be a VIP package where you ...

We've never been on a cruise before but what stood out was ghat all the staff had been. Sound like a bit of a strange observation? I didn't have much expectation leading up to the cruise in terms of customer centricity but was surprised when most the crew were foreign national which made me clearly expect that the level of service would be more than the general assumption that South Africans are ...
