Not really great at writing long essays for reviews so I will keep it short and simple. I wanted a easy cruise without being overwhelmed by the port of call and excursions. So it's my 10th wedding anniversary I wanted a super awesome looking ship with spacious room. Personally I was looking for activities on the ship but what I discovered was A+ Entertainment & Activities . We did get give low ...

we had a great time on our latest cruise vacation. even though the weather was not great the whole cruise, the staff were very attentive and our dining staff were the best we have experienced in many years. the shows were very professional, Kat's was not my favorite but the performance was as you would expect in a west end or broadway show, excellent. royal Caribbean always provides a ...

This is a great ship and has the best entertainers and staff. The Ice Skating show was unbelievable. The skaters are awesome. Cat's is long but very well done. The music quaility is Broadway class. The Aqua Show is very professional. Again the music for this show was great. Central Park is beautiful and so peaceful! The piped in birds churping and cricket churping is an awesome touch. It is ...

The ship is fine, lots to do especially for a mixed age group. My dissatisfaction comes with the constant need to spend more money once on board. Although our cabin cost £2500, we still had to pay for basic soda, WiFi (over £100 for a week!). Drinks are not cheap, £8 for a small beer, £13 for a cocktail, you’re charged 18% on top of everything and are charged $30 per person per day for ...

While we've cruised with a few different cruise lines before, this was our first with Royal Caribbean. Our experience was largely positive - embarkation was smooth, the ship is amazing and there's lots and lots to do. It is, however, much more money focused than other cruise lines we've been with before. Threatening to fine you $25 if you don't return a towel (we had one taken from our ...

We chose to cruise on Royal Caribbean since we've been on Holland America for our first two cruises and wanted to branch out for our first trip to the Caribbean. The Entertainment on board was very good - although, I'm still scratching my head to why Cats would be a headliner on a cruise ship especially since half the crowd left during intermission. The gym/exercise amenities were great - lots ...

I took this cruise because my daughter now lives in Orlando, we prefer Princess!! We were shocked to see when docked in Labadee that the lunch outdoor area by the beach was being set out around 10:30 a.m. We looked at the buffer at that time thinking we would try this buffet, but no way, everything was sitting in trays with no lids to protect from the heat and the flies!! We were disgusted ...

We travelled with a family of four, two teenage boys 13 and 15. I’ve been on 5 cruises before this it was my first trip with RC. I’m so torn as I write this review…I worked so hard on my ‘tips and tricks’ I wrote them out for my family before the cruise based on the reviews here and then added to them with my own during the trip. I decided I’m still going to post them as people may find them ...

Dirty, Tired and Broken. The Ship isn't Much Better...

We're experienced cruisers in our forties and travelled with our daughter and partner who had their own cabin. This RCCL ship is a small step up from Carnival but not by much. The entertainment was sub-standard even for a cruise. The drinks service and provision thereof comical, firstly the Chandon and as a European we 'let it go' that this is called Champagne onboard but when the Rising Tide ...
