We chose this ship for the experience of the larger ship. It was indeed an "experience". PROS - beautiful, modern ship with great entertainment and activities. Embarkation and Debarkation went smoothly. Our dining room servers and cabin stewards were absolutely wonderful. CONS - too many people, things seemed a bit unorganized. They had no record of our onboard credit, lost one of ...

We spent the previous week in Orlando at Disney World. The Saturday before we rented a car and the wife and I drove to Cape Canaveral to check out Kennedy space center. (very cool and worth the effort). The next morning we all loaded our luggage into the rental and drove to the port where we dropped it off and then a short shuttle to the boat. Check in was pretty painless, but we did have to wait ...

We tried a 7 day MSC Seaside cruise the week before Oasis. It sure felt great to get on a real cruise ship again on the Oasis of the Seas. Granted the MSC Seaside was a beautiful ship but the minuses far outweighed the pluses. Been there, done that, and its back to RCCL or X for us! Have 2 more future cruises booked on them. Rooms are larger, food is better, service is better, shows are better, ...

Construction above our OASIS CLS ruined our cruise

We chose this cruise on Oasis as a little romantic getaway and splurged on the Crown Loft Suite. While most of our cruise was great including speedy embarkation, awesome venues and our favorite place, the Coastal Kitchen; RC began a major construction project on the roof above us that lasted the entire week. The hammering, drilling banging and grinding that went on above us from 8 am to 6 pm ...

This was a massive ship (And very nice too), but customer care terrible. Massive queue to get on, Food below par - Certain restaraunts were terrible for the quality of food, and staff were un caring. Main ding restaraunt - The table was facing a wall and in a crap position and when we tried to get moved they refused our request so we sat basically on our own all week. Customer ...

After many years we have finally made it to Diamond class and can say we totally appreciate the perks and added services when compared to being 3 star Mariners on Holland America and getting little in return. We plan to stick with RCL and Celebrity for all of our future cruises until we opt for some of the more premium and costly alternatives. As diamond class members embarkation was ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

My husband and I like this ship. It is beautiful, VERY BIG, has great shows and a good variety of entertainment. There are lots of things to see, do and places to explore on the ship. The food was good. There is always room for improvement with the food, like the desserts, they need some spice and sugar. They are bland. However, we were able to find some that were EXCELLENT, like the ...

Booked cruise a year ago because the ship went to 2 ports that we had not been to before and it was a 7 day cruise over a holiday weekend. We’ve only sailed with Royal. The crew was friendly and the shows were excellent. Great dining experience in the main dining room. So much to do and see on the ship. Love Central Park - the cafe, strings at night. Band in Dazzles was very good. Recommend ...

Slipping value and service

It’s been awhile since I’ve sailed on Royal, Carnival treats us great so we never have a reason to look at other options. I do remember the last time thinking Royal did a little bit better service wise and food being slightly better. But after a few years I guess that has changed. I found the service below Carnival now, the value way below, and the cleanliness was eh... The positives were the ...
