This ship Royal Carribean, Oasis of the Seas was Awesome and Exciting for me Everyone was so welcoming. The ship is very nice it’s like a BIG City on a ship and the prices were very affordable. I would recommend anyone to experience this cruise ship if you haven’t already. I will most definitely go again. The Captain Per Christopherson was excellent The entertainment was outstanding. They have numerous shows you can attend to see. The zip line I really enjoyed. The pools are spacious and you have many to choose from. The attendants, bar, pool, reasturants, shops, were excellent and affordable You will definitely meet new and fun friends that you can experience and have fun with on this cruise. Everyone was so polite and courteous What an experience, Adventure and fun time I had with friends and family. I also had someone from my hometown that was on the same cruise but we didn’t see each other until that Wednesday. Now that tells you how BIG the ship is Read Less

I heard from my coworker that she had an excellent experience in this cruise line and we really had an exceptional experience. Great service, clean, delicious foods, polite & helpful staff. Notable mention goes out to Rochelle (Windjammer Supervisor), Melody & Remar (Windjammer), Ronald ( Solarium Bistro), Mac & Gerald (American Icon Grill), Jetu (Silk) & Jean (Stateroom Steward) my daughter loves Jean’s Towel Sculpture that he made. He visited our Stateroom minimum twice a day, usually more. This cruise is well organize from arrival to departure. There’s plenty of things to keep you occupied on board while you’re cruising. For example great shows like Oasis of Dreams, Frozen in Ice & Cats Broadway show. Other attractions included Flowriders, Ziplining, Rock Climbing, mini golf. Loves the acrobats & parade of Dream Work Characters. I’ll highly recommend this cruise line to my family & friends. Keep up the great work Dan (Entertainment Supervisor) for keeping us inform for daily activities. Great Job Royal Caribbean staff. Read Less

Our son and daughter-in-law, who are experienced cruisers, chose the cruise. This gorgeous ship is absolutely amazing, did not disappoint in any way. We were all impressed with the wonderful service, cleanliness, variety of shows and entertainment, very good food, and interesting ports. Staff was outstanding, courteous, helpful, and friendly. Our five year old grandson loved every minute and asked to stay “100 more days”. We enjoyed all the ports which were clean and beautiful. We felt safe everywhere we went. The beaches were lovely. We especially liked the steel drum bands we encountered in the ports. The music and dancing in the streets enhanced the tropical ambience and sense of fun and cheerfulness. The experience was definitely “paradise found”. We highly recommend this cruise. Anyone who doesn’t have a good time on this cruise has only themselves to blame! I have shared my many photos and wonderful experiences with friends and family. They are all impressed. We especially enjoyed the views from our oceanside balconies and the beauty nature provided. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We are looking forward to our next excursion with Royal Caribbean. Read Less

We had sailed on the Oasis once before, so we knew what to expect, but in many ways this was even better than the first time we sailed, a year ago. The shows on the ship remain fabulous, the comedians were great, the diving show is outstanding, and the performance of Cats was wonderful. We also took the behind the scenes tour of the stage, which was fascinating. Service overall was friendly and attentive, especially at dinner in the main dining room. We also thought the food at the main dining room was better than last year, though be aware that there is a lot of repetition in entrees and appetizers every day. Our daughter has a nut allergy, and once we told the waiter, he and the head waiter were great - making sure she got special, nut-free, versions of dessert every day! As on the Allure, we rarely felt that we were on a ship with 6,000 people; the ship is so big, and there is so much to do, that very few things got crowded. That being said, however, if you want to make sure you get to see all the shows, especially the comedian show, make sure you make reservations ahead of time. We ate at the Solarium bistro one night and really liked it, particularly for the appetizer buffet and the fact that there is no charge (except for a tip). It would be nice if the other Oasis class ships had the same restaurant. Overall, the ship does seem a bit worn - it is certainly clean, but you can see worn carpeting and scuffed walls in a lot of places. Apparently it will be going into dry dock in the next year or two. We did excursions at all three stops: * Labadee - be aware that the beaches are pretty rocky, but I did the jet skiing and it was fantastic! The huge zipline looked like fun as well; I'll have to try it sometime... * Jamaica - we did the Dolphin Cove excursion and it was great! There is an hour drive each way to get to it, but once you are there you get to really swim with a dolphin (he even pulled us about 30 feet through the water!), hold tropical birds, hold a large iguano, and then hang out at the beach, pool, and try out a fun and fast waterslide. Best cruise excursion we have done in a long time! * Cozumel - we did the glass-kayak and snorkeling excursion, with some time to relax on the beach or in a hammock. Its only about 10-15 minutes to the resort, the people running the activities were friendly and knowledgeable, and we saw a lot of very colorful fish. So, overall, we had another great time on the Oasis, and look forward to our next cruise on this or another of the Oasis class ships! Read Less

Ports of call were great. The Jeep tour at Punta Sur Eco Beach was awesome! Pedro and Xio were amazing tour guides. Great price for what we got on this tour. Most shows we were unable to get tickets for which was terrible. Too many restaurants that you have to pay extra. Need more eating choices that are included in the price of cruise Rooms were big with balconies overlooking Boardwalk. We could sit on balcony and watch movies or the dive show. Our room attendant Bernadette was spectacular Did my time dining this cruise. It was ok. I think I prefer a set time. My Time Dining you get different waiters so didn’t get one who got to know us or our preferences. Loved that there were 5 pools, but they need a water slide too. All in all I think I prefer the mid-size ships. I would go on Oasis again tho Read Less

My husband and I, and our best friends who happen to be our daughter's in-laws, feel that Royal Caribbean is THE best cruise line to go on! We've been on many different cruise lines and cruise ships, but one of our favorites is the Oasis of the Sea! Your crew members take good care of you and remember your name even though there's about 6,500 guests and crew on board! Crew works hard to make sure you enjoy your cruise, and make sure you are happy! The food in the dining rooms are even more delicious than the last time we were on the Oasis a year ago, and if you can't find something to do, it's your own fault! Off the ship, we went on a RCCL endorsed Jeep Adventure shore excursion in Cozumel, and our amazing guides were Pedro and Xio! To say it was fun would be an understatement! The Jeep had air conditioning which made it very comfortable in nearly 100 degree, sunny weather; the stop at their private beach for snorkeling and swimming was BEAUTIFUL, and my husband, an avid snorkeler, did not want to get out of the water! Lol! The food smelled wonderful and all who ate said it was delicious!! It was only $10 for all you can eat! There was also a bar for alcohol-beverages and non-alcohol beverages. There were also plenty of chairs and chaise lounge chairs with umbrellas and the sea breeze felt really good! (We had eaten a big breakfast on the ship and were quite thrilled that they gave us free bottles of water. They wanted to make sure we stayed hydrated, and it was obvious that Pedro and Xio truly cared about us!) The small remnants of Mayan Ruins near the ocean and the story of its use there was very cool! It was used by the Mayans to alert them of hurricanes, but that's all I'm saying about that because it was ingenious for a primitive people of the era, and you just have to try this excursion to learn more. Awesome ship with great entertainment for shows. Delicious food in American Icon dining room where we ate. Our server Imade was very careful about my gluten free NEEDS. He was so attentive to everything. Our room was good with balcony overlooking the Central Park. I have to say IF I get another balcony it will be facing the ocean. I missed seeing sunrises and sunsets. The room seemed smaller. We had a hard time finding space other than on the couch to put our empty suitcases. We had two large suitcases and there were only two of us. I miss having a lido deck as the fun entertainment (sexy man contests, scavenger hunt, ice carvings ) and things like that were not available on pool deck probably because there were so many people by the many pools. The pools are PACKED. All in all the ship as a whole did not seem crowed except at the pool. There is plenty of space onboard for people to be. I think on smaller ships there seems to be more music of more variety in different spaces. The promenade deck is full of shops and eateries and that seems to be where people congregate. The Boardwalk was a cool space with the carousel. The shows were ALL great. Our excursions to Jamaica and Cozumel were great. We went on a river raft cruise on the Martha Brae river. Peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend. We went on a Myan Ruin and chocolate tasting excursion. The guide Angel was AWESOME. The excursion was good but be prepared with bug spray for mosquitoes. Brutal at the Myan ruins. We just stayed on the beach in Haiti. It is nice but water is VERY rocky. All in all fabulous cruise on this huge ship. I still will go on smaller ships they all in my opinion have pros and cons.11631 Read Less

My husband and I are loyal to Royal and we love cruising with them. We had sailed on Oasis in 2017 and booked this cruise while on board. We thought we might regret this decision since we had just sailed on Oasis but it was just as amazing the second time around. We are so impressed by the constant smiles on all the staff members, the cleanliness and the activities. We did many of the trivia challenges and game show type activities. We loved the Headliner act, The Edge Effect, the aerial show, Come Fly with Me and the diving show, Oasis of Dreams. The 2 comedians were very funny as well. Unfortunately Cats is not for us. We made it through 15 minutes on our first sailing on Oasis and did not book a seat for it at all on this sailing. Cats will be the reason we are looking at other ships for our future cruises. We love Labadee and go right to Columbus Cove. Great beach with no rocks. Buffet right there. Awesome view of the ship. Perfection. Cozumel is one of our favorite ports. Last year we had a blast at the Salsa, Salsa, Margaritas excursion so this year we did the Mexican Cooking Class with a stay at the Playa Mia beach resort included. It did not disappoint. We had a great time and learned a few cooking tips too. Falmouth is our least favorite port. We strolled around the shopping port and then went back on the ship and had it pretty much to ourselves. Our cabin was spotless and the ice bucket was always filled. We chose My Time Dining this time. Our waiter and the other staff members were great but I think we will choose the Main Dining Room and the second seating next time. The MDR food was very good but I do like a drive by in the Windjammer as well. Always something surprising and delicious there! (Yes, I gained 8 pounds but I am home 5 days and have most of it off already LOL) This was a great vacation and I cannot wait to go on my next Royal Caribbean adventure! Read Less

The staff on this ship went beyond what was expected to help and assist. There were about 6500 people on board, but you would never know it. We never had a crowd, except at prime time mealtime in the Windjammer. We ate all of our dinners in the Coastal Kitchen, and the staff there made the meal perfect.Exiting the ship at the end of the cruise was painless. Suite guest are escorted off the ship and miss all the crowds. It was the perfect cruise. In Labadee Haiti we went to a private beach and was served drinks on the beach. They had a buffet with tons of assorted foods. Our granddaughter got to swim with the dolphins in Cozumel Mexico, and the ship provided transportation to and from the event. We never felt rushed. The ship was absolutely beautiful. The entertainment was incredible especially the Aqua show and the Headliner show. We stayed in an ocean view balcony room on the 10th floor. I thought it was quite spacious and waking up to the view of the ocean is priceless. We mostly ate breakfast and lunch at the Windjammer Cafe because we had dinner reservations at many of the specialty restaurants. Giovannis was a great Italian place right in the Central park area of the ship. We also bought the Chefs table which was incredible. The wine and food were exceptional. Everything from start to finish was perfect. The only con I would give is the time spent in line waiting for our shore excursions that we purchased. We waited outside in the sun for an hour waiting for them to take us to a shuttle for our excursion. Did get very frustrating especially since we were only at places for a couple hours. I do understand that they need to organize a lot of people, but waiting over an hour was a bit redic. This is my only con though. Everything else was absolutely perfect!!! We already booked our next cruise in January. Read Less

The ship and itinerary matched the experience I was looking for. Stayed in Crown Loft Suite. I think this is the best suite/room I have stayed in on any ship. I like the ports of call with Nassau being the least favorite. Would have rather spent a day in Labadee or Cocoa Cay instead of Nassau. The amount of time in Nassau is too short to enjoy the expensive water park at Atlantis and too long if you are just in the market area. The rest of the island is pretty sketchy. Saint Thomas and Saint Marten are recovering from the hurricanes steadily and are great ports of call. Tivi resort in Saint Marten was a great place to spend the day. Clean bathrooms, restaurants, shops and bars. Good selection of water sports as well. The Oasis is now my favorite class of ship. The only suggestion is to add water slides (on Oasis itself) for the kids like other ships have. Dining at Coastal kitchen and access to the concierge lounge made the cost for a loft suite hold more value. Complimentary drinks throughout the day and evening was also a bonus. Main dining room was good and having other complimentary dining such as park cafe was a nice change. Wi-Fi was also included and worked better on board this ship than it had on others. Always enjoy the on board entertainment, quality performances by very talented individuals. Overall it was a great vacation and we were blessed with great weather and flat seas. I highly recommend the Sky class suite experience if you can get a decent deal. Though it isn't cheap it comes with many perks and advantages. The drawback is once you have experienced this level (or higher like Star class), you wont want to go back. Its the difference of flying first class VS coach, except you live it 24-7 for a week. The casino was good but would like more of a varity of slot machines. I would also play more of the card tables if they had lower limits. So many pools that if i had brought kids they would have loved it. I talked to a few of the teenagers on bourd to see how they liked it to know if my teenage grandkids would want to go on this ship and all of them said they loved it. Also all the other activities like the zip line, wave runner, rock climbing and putt putt golf was great. The Chop Grill was over the top great. The windjammer had everything imanginable to eat and the Slomaron was a great place to go to also. The entertainment as always with Royal Caribben was very entertaining. We chose this trip due to going to St, Thomas for a destination wedding. The whole experience was awesome and we enjoyed the ship, the crew, the blend of activities for singing, dancing, sports contests, trivia games, etc. The food was really good and had to imagine feeding 6000 plus and having it be hot and cold properly. We really enjoyed the sea days and if you enjoy adult beverages, I highly recommend the drink packages. (TIme to try new ones with little risk) also, the frozen rum drinks were amazing and a different feature each day). If you go hungry on a cruise, you only have yourself to blame. Don't miss the formal dinners, but if you do, there will be an option that is really worthy. Great experience. We would go on this ship again. Courteous staff. Balcony rooms were large for a ship. Plenty of activities. St Maarten Catamaran was really fun. Read Less

There is something for EVERYONE on the Ship and in the ports! The food in the Windjammer, Wipe Out Johnny Rockets and the Solarium for Breakfast was very good. The variety was AMAZING! Windjammer was were we at for lunch and it had too many options of food! That was a good thing! We only ate in the Main Dinning Room (American Icon) at night. We had My Time and had a VERY rocky start but finished well. We like to meet people and in the beginning they insisted on putting us at a table for two! We did end up eating with another couple nights two on. It was GREAT> The food was AMAZING. Many choices for appetizers, main dish and dessert! Our room was GREAT. We booked a little late but the room fit our needs very well! Alex our room Steward was AMAZING . . . Hope we have him on another cruise. Best cabin Steward we have ever had with Royal Caribbean! ! ! We will cruise again as soon as we can because we loved it so much! ! The ports were Amazing. We enjoyed Bermuda the best as we have been to St Thomas and St Martin several times but we still enjoyed them! We love doing our own thing at ports of call and did so this time. We enjoyed the sea day too. There were many activities on the ship but again we did our own thing. Both embarkation and debarkation went VERY smoothly! Port Canaveral is one of the easiest ports for BOTH getting on and off the ship! VERY organized and VERY effecient in ALL respects! We have used five RC ports and by far PC is the BEST! Read Less

First time on Royal Caribbean and completely satisfied! The ship being the largest, had everything you would want or need, from Starbucks to Karaoke to fabulous free pizza! I have cruised out of Tampa, Miami and now Port Canaveral, and prefer Port Canaveral. It was very efficient and they moved everyone along in a timely fashion. Our cabin was spacious enough, as long as the sofa bed wasn't open, otherwise, it's a pretty tight squeeze, as are other typical rooms. I traveled with my husband and teenage son, and we managed quite well. The food was great and the staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. There is lots to entertain you, no matter what age. Pools, activities, movies, rock wall climbing, zip line, ice skating (although not open all the time), karaoke, or just plain people-watching. The mall area is a great place to sit and enjoy delicious pizza, and although there are a few stores to shop in, they are primarily for the "rich and famous". The average Joe is not going to shop in Michael Kors, Rigalia, Kate Spade and numerous other high-end jewelry stores, but that's okay, I didn't go on a cruise to shop. I would imagine the duty-free part is the reason anyone would shop on a cruise ship. The one thing I would not do again is go on a tour excursion in St. Thomas. We had a rude taxi driver that sped through town, did not explain anything and left us waiting at the Botanical Gardens for over an hour. Thankfully, RC reimbursed us 20%, which showed how much they cared. Our tour in St. Maarten was fabulous, on an air-conditioned bus, with a great guide, who was delightful. She told jokes, sang to us and informed us about the island and it's cultures. Overall, our experience was memorable and encouraging. I will definitely take this cruise again. Read Less

Cruising with Royal Caribbean is easy & hassle free. Beach towels are readily available, as well as bathroom re-stocking. Being on The Oasis of the Seas is like a floating city because of the restaurants, activities, shows, & constant events. If you like to relax, it’s also the perfect place to just lay out, swim, join the spa or hot tub, & just have drinks (or eat literally anytime you want). The food is my favorite part. The main dining rooms have elaborate 3 course meals, & the Windjammer has a huge variety from breakfast, lunch, dinner, & desserts. This doesn’t even include the restaurants on board. Extremely family friendly, there is a ton to do for kids, but they do a great job giving adults their own space, as well. Everyone goes above & beyond to be at your service. We chose this cruise because there were so many activities for the teens and adults in our group! We had two balcony cabins, one was an ocean balcony and the other one was a Central Park balcony cabin right across the hall. The rooms were spacious enough for two people each, more people would definitely feel a bit cramped. There was plenty of storage for two of us, and while the shower was small-ish, there was plenty of storage in the bathroom. The teens spent most of their time in the teen club doing whatever activities were available. They would meet us for dinner or did the port excursions with us, but then went back to their new friends. My husband and I spent most of the time in the gym, the spa, and the Solarium. We had the deluxe beverage plan for the two adults and we felt it was well worth our money. We got to try drinks that we might not have tried otherwise, and we often got a bottle of water when ordering a drink at the bar so we could take that to the gym. We ate in the MDR only once and we had the best service in there and the food was delicious, but after that night, we had a few meals at the specialty restaurants, and we didn't think the service or food was up to snuff. We especially enjoyed the food in the Windjammer buffet. It was always fresh and changed up from day to day. Since we tend to eat our bigger meal as a late lunch, this was perfect for us. We would then have a snack at Park Cafe or Sorrento's later in the evening. It was a wonderful cruise to celebrate our daughter's graduation from HS. Read Less

Cruised with extended family. This was one of the best cruise experiences that I've had. The junior suite was perfect. I loved the size of the junior suite, the large closet, balcony, and bathroom. The ship was very clean and I love the commercials on the ship televisions prompting the passengers to wash their hands. The public areas of the ship looked like a Vegas resort. The entertainment on the ship is unmatched in the cruise industry. We attended several shows. The show on ice and the show in the aqua theater were the best and reminded me of the live shows in Vegas. The food in the main dinning hall, the windjammer, chops, and the coastal kitchen was perfect every time. The service in all of the bars and restaurants was perfect and the servers with above and beyond the make the our cruising party happy. We booked a beach excursion win St. Maarten. The beach was great. We did not book an excursion in Haiti, but the beach in Labadee was very nice. We did not book an excursion in San Juan, we just went shopping in the area surrounding the port and visited Senor Frogs. This was our first cruise on Royal Caribbean and we are ready to book one for next summer. We had a great time and would recommend this cruise. Read Less

Cabins were quiet and roomier than I expected (I had not cruised in 20 years). Plenty of storage space (very efficient use of space). Loved this ship... you could do nothing or everything... its up to you. There are sooo many choices, be sure to spend some time before embarking to see what you want to enjoy! Great entertainment, loved Disco night. Reserve in advance for larger groups. I purchased the non-alcoholic beverage package and felt it was worthwhile. Loved going for my iced caramel lattes with almond milk at the Cafe Promenade, and the yummy non-alcoholic Pina Coladas. We did no food upgrades, no need for us. Service was excellent everywhere.Clean ship. I always enjoyed cruising and was soooo excited to be back on the "seas" (it had been over 20 years). I would surely recommend a balcony, looking out at the ocean was so beautiful and relaxing. Loved it day and night. . This was a great family vacay. We are planning another Oasis of the Seas cruise. Everyone had a great time. Effortless. Never felt crowded. Easy on/off. Print off and place cabin tags on luggage, you'll save time and be happy you did! I wanted a seven-night cruise that would visit a few interesting ports in the Caribbean. This was my third cruise with Royal Caribbean and they have always delivered the best experience. My reason for the trip was to give two of my granddaughters a wonderful trip as graduation presents. I traveled with a college graduate, high school graduate, and their little sister (15). The ship I chose was the Oasis of the Seas after reviewing all of the entertainment offered for young people. Oasis is beyond amazing, From the Promenade deck (5), where one can find all kinds of shopping opportunities, guest services, pizza restaurant, and cafe, to the boardwalk on deck 6 with lots of eateries and a big carousel for kids and adults, there is no shortage of places to shop and visit. The top deck with multiple pools and flow riders (simulates surfing), ping pong tables, sky bars, latin music (bands) and numerous water competitions kept my girls occupied for seven straight days. The crew throughout the ship was dedicated to their mission of making sure that each and every guest was having the dream vacation they imagined. Guest services solved several of our problems with ease and a good spirit. One of our sea pass cards failed to open the cabin door and another sea pass needed to be replaced owing to tanning oil, which smeared all of the information on the front of the card. As for the port itself, Port Canaveral is an attractive port to sail from and return. It is easy to park with a five-minute walk to the entrance. However, it is a bit pricey (137.00 for 7 nights). There is off port parking for half that price only five minutes away, a service that I wished I had known about beforehand. The shore excursions on St. Maarten and San Juan were okay, but St. Maarten is still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Irma--damage was extensive. San Juan was okay, but I was hoping for a Caribbean flavor; instead, San Juan is very much an American city and looks like most of the larger cities in Florida. The three-hour tour gave us a nice overview of some of the important buildings, but beware, this tour advertises a trip to the Americas Mall, which means that most of the tour time is spent walking around a mall that Americans can find in any of their home cities. Labadee was by far the best shore excursion. Like everything else that Royal Caribbean does, the trip to Labadee was superb. RC has invested quite a bit of money into making it a tropical paradise, complete with numerous beaches furnished with beach loungers, dining gazebos and outside grills manned by RC's culinary team, drink stations, zip lines, wave runners, and scores of other beach activities. Labadee is a must see. And lastly, the food on Royal Caribbean will not disappoint. Daily menus are innovative and the quality of the food and its preparation made our dining experience something to look forward to every day. I am sure that many folks who cruise or want to cruise will hunt for the best deals. I, too, want the "biggest bang" for my buck and I believe that Royal Caribbean delivered on that point as well. We have been on 10 different cruises and this one was by far the best. We enjoyed every minute on this boat. Even though it was packed full we never felt crowded. It was amazing and we will be going back on the oasis soon with our kids. The only downside was the A.C. in the cabin didn't seen to keep the room as cool as it should. Other than that it was amazing. The bar staff on the ship were incredible especially Pablo at the karaoke bar. The shows were the Highlight on the ship they were absolutely incredible every single one of them. I strongly recommend having a reservation beforehand to all the shows otherwise there's no guarantee you will make it in on a ship that large. Also if you're into drinking I would recommend the drink package otherwise you will easily spend more than what package cost. Read Less

We worked for the company that embarked passengers on the Oasis and decided we needed to sail on her. We live in the area, so didn't do any pre or post cruise. Our embarkation and debarkation were so smooth. The agents for IMS do an outstanding job in both areas. The ship didn't disappoint. Everything we heard about it was met. Our cabin was portside with a balcony on the 6th deck, mid ship. Best possible place because the aft elevators were near to get to the dining room and Windjammer. We had My Time Dining and fortunately had the same table every night. Our waiters (Bobb and Adrian) were the best. The cabin was spotless every day and our attendant catered to all of our requests. We didn't have any shore excursions since we had been to the ports many other times. But we did get off on Labadee and really enjoyed the day. We are ready to go again! The shows were fantastic. Took all of them in. I rode the carousel and felt like a kid again. We are Diamond Members in the Crown and Anchor Club and they treated us like royalty. We encourage you to check this ship out. She will only be in Port Canaveral until April, but the Harmony of the Seas will replace her. Can't wait to try that one out. Central Park was beautiful. Loved the Solarium. Spent a lot of time there. Nice--adults only. Read Less
