Based on a recommendation, we booked this western Caribbean cruise. From the moment we arrived at the airport to the return trip back to the airport we had the best service from all members of the Royal Caribbean team, They go way beyond to make sure you have a wonderful cruise. We were even surprised how well the ship has been cleaned and maintained being 10 years old. The housekeeping was great 2 times a day! Food was plenty and the quality was very good.. There were plenty of things to see and do aboard the ship plus the shore excursions were great fun for all. Would recommend making reservations for excursions and dining as the lines can get long if not prepared. Having cruised on other ships I would recommend this cruise based on the level of service and things to do. Our friends were right about making this a great family vacation. Read Less

Had a great time on the ship! our waiter at silk was amazing But my New Michael Kors Bag that my Fiance got me in Cozumel was missing. I noticed that the maitre d was always in the hallway and at times cabin doors was left open. The bathroom seem to always have a strong runk urine ordor but on the over all the trip was great but we're afraid of cruising if they don't resolve this matter. We paid for a tour to Montego Bay for shopping and my finace paid $40.00 for both of us only to get there and a local bodega with a gift store and a liquor store on the first floor and a closed bar upstairs over looking Montego Bay we did asked if they was taking us shopping since that's where they took us and the response they gave is that Montego Bay is dangerous and they can let us go on our own until the Government straighten out the area! They should have told us this to begin with. Other than that we had a great Read Less

My family and I absolutely loved the trip. Son could not wait to get back to the Kids Club area every night, which allowed for my husband and I to have some great Rest and Relaxation. Food was amazing, something for everyone and plenty of it. Activities seemed never-ending! We spent 7 nights on the ship and still did not do everything we wanted to on the ship. Staff was very kind and engaging, excursions were great. This trip was worth every penny. We are definitely going back. The shows were fun and engaging. I really enjoyed the outside theater. The any time dinning was great, allowed us to eat any time we were hungry and we had a table all to ourselves. Making reservations were simple and they were always accommodating. Internet service was great but make sure you get it before you board the ship it is so much cheaper. They even had a professional photography studio onboard which is nice because it is always hard to find the time and opportunity for those family photos. Read Less

Pre holiday in Orlando added to cruise experience and ship was huge with lots to do. Staff in silk dining room were great but man on towel return very grumpy. Perhaps he should try something else. He was very abrupt. Accommodation very good but central park seemed better for those with no kids. Lovely calm atmosphere whilst BoaRd walk was a little more child friendly. Would stayou in central park next time as a couple. Evening there were very relaying. The entertainment- Finasty Henderson. Comedy shows . Ice show were all great but Cats was too long and a bit boring. Good production but just a boring show can't believe it's so successful. Many walked out while we watched it. Activities during day were varied and interesting but the Art auction and all the hype for Diamond do sales were a bit tedious and irritating. Sales for other goods were also over hyped and mainly overpriced. Read Less

This was a cruise to celebrate my father's retirement. My room was myself, husband (both in our 40s), 9 year old son, and 6 year old daughter. We were in a Grand Suite. We also traveled with my parents (who are diamond plus), my 22 year old sister and her boyfriend, and my other sister, her husband (also in their 40s), my 8 year old niece, and my 12 year old nephew. Arrival was super easy. We got to the port about 10 am. Check in was a breeze. There was a dedicated waiting area for the suites. The had comfy seats and refreshments. We were able to board just at 11 am. We went straight to the Windjammer for lunch and had no issues. To summarize, I will do this in categories. Ship The Oasis of the Seas had a lot to offer. The ship was large but never really seemed crowded except in the Promenade for the July 4th balloon drop. The amount of things available was perfect for my family. In fact, there were some things we didn't get a chance to try. It is showing a little age and it's coming dry dock will probably be just what it needs. Cabin Our Grand Suite was perfect for my family of 4. I do suggest if you have people using the sofa bed, have them turn it back to a sofa during the day. It made a big difference in the feel of the room. There was ample storage space and hangers. There were even 2 large medicine cabinets and large drawers in the bathroom. I didn't need any additional storage. The suitcases fit under the bed for storage. Our balcony was the perfect size. With 2 chairs by the small table and 2 chairs with footrests, all 4 of us could enjoy at the same time. The bathroom was larger than I was expecting. Two people could easily be in there at the same time. It is a bit of a large step to get into the tub/shower combo but the threshold of the bathroom is not very high. Dining We had a standing reservation for our party of 12 in the Coastal Kitchen since we were all in suites. The adults did go the the Chef's table one night. The Coastal Kitchen food was delicious and well prepared. The staff of the Coastal Kitchen were very friendly and accommodating. They even got food from the main dining room for us if we saw something we really wanted. The chef's table experience exceeded my expectations. We did have a great group and full table. One thing we did learn that night, although the Adventure Ocean staff take the kids to the Windjammer, they have a limited amount of food available. We were told it was due to allergy concerns. If you have really picky eaters, keep that in mind. We did eat in the Windjammer for breakfast most days and about half the lunches. There is a large variety of offerings which we liked. In general, the food there was good. We also had snacks at the Cafe Promenade. That became our go to spot if we wanted something outside of the meal hours. Their ham and cheese croissant was easily my favorite. Entrertainment I am not a CATS fan so I did not see that show. I did see the adult comedy show, the Ice Skating show, the Aquatheater show, and Come Fly with Me. The singers in Come Fly with Me, although good, did not sync well at times. Also, some voices did not seem to fit the songs they were singing. I can only conclude they were hired with CATS in mind. The adult comedy show was surprisingly enjoyable. I was really tired and considered not going. I'm glad I did, though. The 2 comedians on my sailing were both hilarious. Also, they did not poke too much at the crowd. They took things that were said and ran with them without harping on individuals in the crowd. By far my favorite show was the ice skating. I have no idea how they do those trick on that small patch of ice. Something to note, all the performers work during the open ice times. My kids loved seeing them again and telling them how much they enjoyed the show. Huge kudos to the staff for their July 4th celebration. I think they perfectly balanced the wants of the Americans while giving other a chance to be away from it if they wanted. The only things that would have made it better was a larger area for the balloon drop. There were many people that could not get close to the balloons. The Aquatheater show was also great. It reminded me of a Cirque show. Service Everyone we dealt with on this cruise was friendly. Many of them truly got to know us and continued to talk to us whenever we saw them. Our stateroom attendant really went above and beyond in talking to all of us whenever she saw us. Also, the trivia guy was perfect. It seems like he was made for that job. Ports This sailing started with sea days. Then we went to St Maarten. Although the island was devastated by hurricanes less than a year ago, they seem to be recovering well. There is still a long way to go but plenty of activities were available. We took a private tour of the island to see everything. The next day we were in San Juan. I think partly because of the heat, we were tired from the day before and opted to stay on the ship. There were enough things to do on the ship that we didn't regret our decision. The final stop was Labadee. That is a prefect beach day. We really enjoyed just spending time on the beach and in the water. I wish all the port stops weren't back to back, but I understand why they are. Adventure Ocean We signed our kids up on the first day. My daughter was in the 6-8 group with my niece. My son was in the 9-11 group. The girls loved being together and I think that was part of the reason they loved being in Adventure Ocean. My son tolerated it, but he wanted to play video game or be on the zip line. I don't think his view is the norm. The girls did participate in the pirate parade. They thought it was great that we were watching them. They also did many craft and we brought plenty of things home from their time. I think most kids will enjoy the experience. We did leave them for dinner one night. I wish they allowed the kids more freedom on the food choices since they are ion the buffet, but I guess I can understand the legal ramifications. All the staff seemed friendly and I did not hear any complaints from the kids. They definitely had favorites. My son loved Bubbles. We mainly chose this cruise because my parents are Royal Caribbean loyalists. We also chose it for the starting port and dates. Overall, it was a good choice. I know my parents will be on many more in the future. I think my family might try a Disney cruise next. Read Less

We had a wonderful time on our recent Oasis of the Seas 7 Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise with our two sons aged 14 and 11. Ports of call were St. Maarten, San Juan Puerto Rico and Labadee Haiti. This was our 5th cruise with Royal (3 on Freedom of the Seas, 1 on Enchantment) and our first on Oasis. The ship is just massive and beautiful. We loved sailing Freedom and Oasis did not disappoint. Have patience on day 1, like any cruise, because it is chaotic and crowded. I was actually worried at first because it was so much more crowded than Freedom was. But after day 1 everything was great! Including the pool deck. I mean it was crowded but we were still able to enjoy the pool and lay on chairs but not as bad as what some other reviewers said. I would say it was very similar to Freedom on the sea days. The Windjammer was very crowded at meal times (breakfast more so than any other mealtimes from what we saw and there was a line waiting to enter as tables were cleared if you arrived during peak times) but there are so many other options for breakfast around the ship that are all included (main dining room, Johnny Rockets, Park Cafe, Solarium Bistro) that we just didn't go back to Windjammer and it was fine. We did the sushi making class at Izumi on the ship and loved it. We saw the comedy shows on the final night in the Opal Theater and they were very funny. We also saw the Headliner show which was very good. We skipped Cats and the Ice Skating shows because we've already seen both. The Aqua Theater show was cool to see but we probably won't do that again unless they change the show. We couldn't follow any sort of story line but the diving skills were very good lol! One thing we missed on Oasis compared to Freedom was not having a jumbo screen on the pool deck. We also wish the Royal IQ app that is available on the Quantum Class ships would work on the Oasis Class because it includes a texting feature in it which would have been nice for us to communicate with the kids. We did the Deluxe Drink Package for the first time for the adults and the Premium Package for the kids and will definitely do that again. We pre-purchased them online when there was a 20% off sale prior to our sailing and we definitely got our money's worth. Both packages include bottled water at any of the bars which was wonderful, and also include the specialty coffees at the Promenade Cafe as well as Park Cafe (just not the Starbucks Kiosk) and non-alcoholic frozen drinks. And the Deluxe package includes any glass of wine, beer or cocktail up to $13 but if you order a glass of wine or something over that price then you just pay the difference. Both also include the souvenir cup which you can use at the Coke Freestyle machines around the ship or just have a bartender fill it for you with their soda gun. The only thing we hope they expand on in the future are their beer offerings with some more IPA options. The Globe and Atlas pub on the Promenade Deck 5 had Stone IPA (which is very good) and Redook IPA but that was it and that was the only bar you could get them at. The teen areas and sports deck were great for our 11 and 14 year olds, lots to do. We were also very pleased that they allowed us to sign a waiver for our 11 year old to participate in the teen activities with his brother instead of being with the 9-11 year old Voyagers group in Adventure Ocean. They enjoyed rock climbing and the zip line, ping pong, mini golf and the sports court. They also liked to grab food and soft serve at the Wipeout Cafe. And they also really liked the Arcade and the candy shop on the Boardwalk. Our favorite area was Central Park, so pretty. Read Less

Excellent experience in Grand Suite. Coastal kitchen was a wonderful experience and the staff was exceptional . Having the perks of that but the lounge and barefoot Beach on Haiti was amazing. The size of the bathroom was wonderful with four of us . The entertainment was great and we really enjoyed the diving show the ice-skating show and the Acrobat show . My kids love the pools and splash areas and it was perfect for my two-year-old and five-year-old . My five-year-old really love to the kids club and they did a variety of activities from arts to dancing to watching movies . Both kids love the carousel and we must’ve gone on it about 15 times . Our favorite port was Haiti and barefoot beach was gorgeous . We didn’t rush off the ship and there was plenty of room and shade . The view is breathtaking and the water is up to your chest or so for a long time so it’s like a lagoon .loved it. The ship has something to do for everybody and I highly recommend the suite experience. Read Less

It was a birthday cruise for my daughter-in-law and family. It included my grandchildren 8 and 11. The activities for children were wonderful. They wanted to go every evening and stay for the late night activities. The ship was extremely clean with hand sanitizer available at every doorway/entry point. The on-board activities were varied and there is something for every taste. I think the "flow rider" should have a timer so that more people would get a chance to experience it. My grandson waited so long that he finally gave up. Some people seemed to get more time than others. I think the dining areas should have small plates available that will fit in the room refrigerators when folks want to take an unfinished item back to their room. When walking through the ship to a theater on the same deck as the casino, there should be a smoke free passageway around the smoking area. The casino was certainly offensive to a non-smoker. The Swim with Dolphins in Nassau was a hoot! We did more shopping in St. Thomas. The snorkel and swim tour in St. Maarten was the greatest. Read Less

Everyone on the Oasis was kind and polite. The ship had so many activities that I couldn't get to them all. The shore excursions were fantastic. The dining on board was varied and the service was great. Our housekeeper knew us by name and always spoke to us when he saw us. Everyone was willing to go out of their way to make our experience special. The only annoyance was getting off the ship at the ports and getting to the excursion meeting spot in a sea of people who didn't know what they were doing. The shore excursions crew were very vague about the meeting points, mostly just telling us "you'll see it." They also rushed us and threatened to leave us, but every single excursion started late. The excursions themselves were amazing. We snorkeled in Nassau, toured St. John when we stopped at St. Thomas (and still had plenty of shopping time in St. Thomas), and took a 6-hour island tour by boat in St. Maarten. In each case, the boat captains, taxi drivers, and crews were knowledable, fun, and polite. Read Less

Our daughter just graduated HS and for her graduation and prior to College we decided to take a family (plus 1 - one of her best friends) on a 7 night cruise. After some research we booked a 7-Night Eastern Caribbean cruise departing from Port Canaveral on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas leaving June 24. We booked by talking w/ RC directly and we decided since we haven't vacationed much and this was a special event to book a suite. We originally planned to go a different date on the Western Caribbean cruise with an Aqua Suite but had to change to Eastern and booked an Owners Suite midship on deck 14. Boy did we get lucky on this one. Not a lot of choices when we booked but this suite and location was perfect. On the port side (best views when docking), close to the Coastal Kitchen and Suite Lounge, close to the Windjammer buffet, close to the elevators etc. We didn't know about all the perks for suite guests until a few days prior to leaving when we got an email from the concierge's who are assigned to the suite guests. That explained a lot about what huge benefits suite guests have.. Was it worth the extra $$ for this.. for us, definitely! Now there is no way we can cruise again and not have a suite. You are spoiled with the perks. Oh did I mention free (w/suite) wifi.. that was nice! Dont know if I would have paid for it otherwise. Embark-Disembark: Special lines and areas for suite guests - sweet! On early and off w/o any hassle! Food: We had most all our meals in the Coastal Kitchen.. perfect, private and great service. No complaints at all. Although wish they had a soft-serve ice cream machine there.. lol. We had 2 dinners at specialty restaurants - Giovanni's Table (Excellent) and Isumi Habachi (very good) plus a lunch at Johnny Rockets (very good). Went to the Windjammer for breakfast a and for lunch/snacks a couple of times. No complaints at all.. great food choice, freshness, quality and service. We did not eat in the main dining rooms at all.. no reason to, same food in a private dining room at Coastal. We loved the service, especially Richard Cruz who was great to us!! Overall food quality was very good.. We did NOT purchase a beverage package.. first we dont drink that much and every evening 4:30-8 at the suite lounge they have happy hour free drinks with a wide selection of stuff. Always got water/soda in the lounge free. Stateroom: See above.. we loved the room and especially Michelle who took great care of us!! Her towel animals were the highlight of each evening!! Has a useless bidet that needs to go..and a Jacuzzi tub that we didnt use. 2 sinks were nice.. would be great if this suite had a sink in the 'bar' area.. Entertainment: GREAT.. the aqua show was awesome plus the Come Fly With Me show and the music. All in all the entertainment was superb! I especially loved Jazz on 4... Phil who performed Sinatra etc and the band were great! Staff: Everyone and I mean everyone we met were nice, hospitable and helpful! Everyone said hello, welcome etc etc.. Casino: Besides losing money, the dealers were helpful and nice. One big problem I had was the "smell" in the casino.. not just a smokers smell but something else.. they REALLY have to vent that area better!! I feel sorry for the dealers who are there constantly having to breath that air.. Come on RC.. you have to do better, smoking or not. The Ship: WOW.. huge is an understatement. You really wouldn't know there were maybe 8k people (guests and crew) on the ship.. its massive and so well appointed. Its like a floating city.. Loved the private lounging area and bar for suite guests also.. always a chair. No pool but didnt really care about that. Spent time in the spa (message) and the gym and running track. Excellent equipment and staff there. Shore Excursions: We booked on the ship (not prior). Buck Island Snorkel in St. Thomas that was fun.. boat and crew great. Didnt see a lot of sea life but the experience was fun none the less. In St. Marteen we took the Lotiere Farm zip line, obstacle course excursion. It was pretty good.. what was sad was the degree of devastation from the hurricanes that hit the islands last year.. very very sad. Cons: What was bad.. well they are always trying to sell you something, esp., the spa and gym. Dont get sucked in with the pitches.. they are good at getting you to buy stuff (see my wife for details.. ugh). They do have specials running so take advantage of those if you want a spa treatment. As a suite guest you get some discounts so dont overlook these when buying stuff!! Sometimes they dont credit you for these. It would be nice if the lounge area did offer some selection of free drinks for guests.. but they want you to buy the beverage package so.. We probably will cruise again and will consider RC (depending on where we want to go) and we will have to save up $$$ for a suite again. Hope this review is helpful.. Read Less

We were celebrating our anniversary. Embarkation at the Port Canaveral Pier was easy with no hassles or delays. A far better experience than the first cruise we took a few years ago. The service we received on board was excellent! Our cabin attendant was always very cheerful and extremely helpful providing assistance throughout our voyage. We cannot say enough about the wait staff in the American Icon Dining Room. They exceeded our expectations every night. We felt welcomed every time we dined there and they even remembered our names. That's quite a feat considering how many people they serve on a daily basis. The excursions were fun as well. However, we were very dissappointed with the 5 Star Island Tour in St. Thomas. The staff at Magen's Bay (gift shop/restaurant/bar) were rude and unaccommodating. They had beach umbrellas but refused to rent them even though it was a very hot day. They had negative attitudes toward the guests and service was very slow. The beach was beautiful but until the vendor enhances their customer service, I would not recommend this excursion. Other than that, we had a great experience on this sailing! Read Less

I, my fiancee and her adult daughter, wanted to experience a cruise on one of the Oasis - class ships. We booked the Oasis of the Seas, and it was fabulous! I had never been on such a large ship before, and I was worried about how crowded everything might be, especially since I use a scooter. My worries were without basis, since the ship was easily-accessible and the staff we encountered were terrific. Our embarkation was incredibly fast and without any issues. Disembarkation was the same, even though we decided to handle our own luggage. Everyone made it so easy, and I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly it went. My fiancee and I had a Jr Suite with an oversized balcony, which was spacious and very comfortable. I use a scooter and I was pleasantly surprised at how much room there was for my scooter to be parked and even, turn around. Although we had signed up for "My Time Dining", we soon fell in love with the Windjammer, with so may options. Even though it was buffet-style, there was an overwhelming choice of food, with multiple desserts and more choices for appetizers, sides, entrees, etc. And best of all, you could go up for as many trips as you could fit! LOL Entertainment was professional and very high quality, which I would expect at locations like Las Vegas. We especially enjoyed the performance of Cats and the rock 'n roll revue, but every show we attended was wonderful. If you can't find something to do every minute of every day, then it's all your fault! There is something for everyone, and if nothing else, there are many pools and hot tubs available. Look for the free custard (cone) machines - they were a wonderful way to cool down after swimming or sunning. Drink service was also excellent, with staff coming around regularly to bring you your favorite drink. Our shore excursions were lots of fun, including our tour of the Atlantis at Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas. This resort is one of the best in the world, with lots of things to see and do. I stayed at the Atlantis in 1998 and there is so much more to it now. Make sure you get to see the amazing aquarium, with sharks, barracuda, manta rays, and many other genus of fish. Unfortunately, St Thomas did not offer any accessible tours, however, we made do with nearby shops, bars and restaurants. There was also free entertainment at the port (steel drum band). Our stopover at St. Maarten/St Martin, was good, with an accessible tour available. Our one disappointment was that there is still a lot of residual damage from hurricanes Irma and Maria, with missing roofs, walls and lots of tree damage. It was sad to see all the damage, especially after having been in St Maarten in 2009 and enjoying t very much. Overall, we were thrilled with our cruise and we look forward to another one soon. Whether you are a veteran cruiser or a newbie, Royal Caribbean knows how to treat you and you will soon be convinced that cruising is a great vacation alternative and experience. Read Less

We chose this cruise because of the ports of call. We wanted the Eastern Caribbean route and enjoyed all the stops. We decided on the My Time Dining option and really enjoyed the freedom on making my own reservations. I strongly recommend making the dinner reservations before you board or as soon as possible after you board if you chose this option. The wait staff at the American Icon Grille were fabulous. They took care of all our needs and were always so helpful. I would also recommend making your show reservations as soon as possible when you are booking your cruise. The shows fill up quickly for certain days and times. The musical CATS, the Ice Show, and Come Fly With Me were all really wonderful. We did not travel with children and were happy with the Solarium as a child-free option. The staff, activities, and entertainment were exceptional. Read Less

Services were great! So many hot tubs to choose from. Just wish so!e were open later but honestly was exhausted everything night from all the activities. I don't think any of us gained weight like everyone said we would. There was a lot of walking invovled which was good! We had fun at the shows we attended. The themed parties were entertaining also. The only down side I thought was the ice cream parlor on the board walk and Johnny Rockets resteraunt were extra and I felt they should have been included... especially since they were right in the middle of the kids focused area. And I wish a few resteraunt like America Icon was open later for breakfast..it was the best area we found for breakfast but cloesed at 10 which some mornings we wanted to sleep in. The ship is huge and offers so many activities that we needed all seven days to explore everything. We enjoyed the perfect amount of rest and relaxation, while also enjoying activity. We did my time dining in the American Icon restaurant, and it seemed like one side had better service than the other. However, the food was always great, especially the desert. We always ate breakfast at Windjammer, which has a buffet with anything you could want on it. Sorrento's was always the go to in between for pizza. One place you have to visit is Cups and Scoops... Cupcake Sunday... Your choice of cupcake and your choice of Ben and Jerry's ice cream with whatever toppings you want. The stateroom was amazing and always kept really clean. One thing that was surprisingly pretty clean all the time was the public restrooms, but the staff did a good job keeping everything clean. The entertainment was really good! The bands played well and singers sang well. Jazz band was a favorite. Boleros was always full of Latin flavor, and the Temperature band in Dazzles did a great Earth, Wind and Fire tribute. My favorite port of call was St. Martin, even though it's still pretty damaged from the two hurricanes, earthquakes, and tsunami they had. There are lots of damaged buildings, buildings that are completely gone, and shipwrecks in the water still. However, we did a cool excursion through Royal Caribbean that took us on a double decker bus to a rum tasting, gelato place, and cheese tasting. We also got to see Maho Beach for a short time. Overall, we had a blast! Spent too much and ate too much, but it was worth it and you only live once so we splurged a little. Read Less

The Dinning options are great we love a tradition of eating as a family at Johnny Rockets and participating in the dancing and singing. If you budget permits I would suggest that you move to the Harmony of the Seas and I look forward to providing feedback on the Symphony of the Seas in June of 2019. I also would recommend a place to stay near the port is the Marriott in Port Canaveral it was less than a 2 minute ride to the port its clean and convenient to a great Italian restaurant walking distance through the parking lot. This ship Royal Carribean, Oasis of the Seas was Awesome and Exciting for me Everyone was so welcoming. The ship is very nice it’s like a BIG City on a ship and the prices were very affordable. I would recommend anyone to experience this cruise ship if you haven’t already. I will most definitely go again. The Captain Per Christopherson was excellent The entertainment was outstanding. They have numerous shows you can attend to see. The zip line I really enjoyed. The pools are spacious and you have many to choose from. The attendants, bar, pool, reasturants, shops, were excellent and affordable You will definitely meet new and fun friends that you can experience and have fun with on this cruise. Everyone was so polite and courteous What an experience, Adventure and fun time I had with friends and family. I also had someone from my hometown that was on the same cruise but we didn’t see each other until that Wednesday. Now that tells you how BIG the ship is Read Less

I heard from my coworker that she had an excellent experience in this cruise line and we really had an exceptional experience. Great service, clean, delicious foods, polite & helpful staff. Notable mention goes out to Rochelle (Windjammer Supervisor), Melody & Remar (Windjammer), Ronald ( Solarium Bistro), Mac & Gerald (American Icon Grill), Jetu (Silk) & Jean (Stateroom Steward) my daughter loves Jean’s Towel Sculpture that he made. He visited our Stateroom minimum twice a day, usually more. This cruise is well organize from arrival to departure. There’s plenty of things to keep you occupied on board while you’re cruising. For example great shows like Oasis of Dreams, Frozen in Ice & Cats Broadway show. Other attractions included Flowriders, Ziplining, Rock Climbing, mini golf. Loves the acrobats & parade of Dream Work Characters. I’ll highly recommend this cruise line to my family & friends. Keep up the great work Dan (Entertainment Supervisor) for keeping us inform for daily activities. Great Job Royal Caribbean staff. Read Less

Our son and daughter-in-law, who are experienced cruisers, chose the cruise. This gorgeous ship is absolutely amazing, did not disappoint in any way. We were all impressed with the wonderful service, cleanliness, variety of shows and entertainment, very good food, and interesting ports. Staff was outstanding, courteous, helpful, and friendly. Our five year old grandson loved every minute and asked to stay “100 more days”. We enjoyed all the ports which were clean and beautiful. We felt safe everywhere we went. The beaches were lovely. We especially liked the steel drum bands we encountered in the ports. The music and dancing in the streets enhanced the tropical ambience and sense of fun and cheerfulness. The experience was definitely “paradise found”. We highly recommend this cruise. Anyone who doesn’t have a good time on this cruise has only themselves to blame! I have shared my many photos and wonderful experiences with friends and family. They are all impressed. We especially enjoyed the views from our oceanside balconies and the beauty nature provided. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We are looking forward to our next excursion with Royal Caribbean. Read Less

We had sailed on the Oasis once before, so we knew what to expect, but in many ways this was even better than the first time we sailed, a year ago. The shows on the ship remain fabulous, the comedians were great, the diving show is outstanding, and the performance of Cats was wonderful. We also took the behind the scenes tour of the stage, which was fascinating. Service overall was friendly and attentive, especially at dinner in the main dining room. We also thought the food at the main dining room was better than last year, though be aware that there is a lot of repetition in entrees and appetizers every day. Our daughter has a nut allergy, and once we told the waiter, he and the head waiter were great - making sure she got special, nut-free, versions of dessert every day! As on the Allure, we rarely felt that we were on a ship with 6,000 people; the ship is so big, and there is so much to do, that very few things got crowded. That being said, however, if you want to make sure you get to see all the shows, especially the comedian show, make sure you make reservations ahead of time. We ate at the Solarium bistro one night and really liked it, particularly for the appetizer buffet and the fact that there is no charge (except for a tip). It would be nice if the other Oasis class ships had the same restaurant. Overall, the ship does seem a bit worn - it is certainly clean, but you can see worn carpeting and scuffed walls in a lot of places. Apparently it will be going into dry dock in the next year or two. We did excursions at all three stops: * Labadee - be aware that the beaches are pretty rocky, but I did the jet skiing and it was fantastic! The huge zipline looked like fun as well; I'll have to try it sometime... * Jamaica - we did the Dolphin Cove excursion and it was great! There is an hour drive each way to get to it, but once you are there you get to really swim with a dolphin (he even pulled us about 30 feet through the water!), hold tropical birds, hold a large iguano, and then hang out at the beach, pool, and try out a fun and fast waterslide. Best cruise excursion we have done in a long time! * Cozumel - we did the glass-kayak and snorkeling excursion, with some time to relax on the beach or in a hammock. Its only about 10-15 minutes to the resort, the people running the activities were friendly and knowledgeable, and we saw a lot of very colorful fish. So, overall, we had another great time on the Oasis, and look forward to our next cruise on this or another of the Oasis class ships! Read Less

Ports of call were great. The Jeep tour at Punta Sur Eco Beach was awesome! Pedro and Xio were amazing tour guides. Great price for what we got on this tour. Most shows we were unable to get tickets for which was terrible. Too many restaurants that you have to pay extra. Need more eating choices that are included in the price of cruise Rooms were big with balconies overlooking Boardwalk. We could sit on balcony and watch movies or the dive show. Our room attendant Bernadette was spectacular Did my time dining this cruise. It was ok. I think I prefer a set time. My Time Dining you get different waiters so didn’t get one who got to know us or our preferences. Loved that there were 5 pools, but they need a water slide too. All in all I think I prefer the mid-size ships. I would go on Oasis again tho Read Less

My husband and I, and our best friends who happen to be our daughter's in-laws, feel that Royal Caribbean is THE best cruise line to go on! We've been on many different cruise lines and cruise ships, but one of our favorites is the Oasis of the Sea! Your crew members take good care of you and remember your name even though there's about 6,500 guests and crew on board! Crew works hard to make sure you enjoy your cruise, and make sure you are happy! The food in the dining rooms are even more delicious than the last time we were on the Oasis a year ago, and if you can't find something to do, it's your own fault! Off the ship, we went on a RCCL endorsed Jeep Adventure shore excursion in Cozumel, and our amazing guides were Pedro and Xio! To say it was fun would be an understatement! The Jeep had air conditioning which made it very comfortable in nearly 100 degree, sunny weather; the stop at their private beach for snorkeling and swimming was BEAUTIFUL, and my husband, an avid snorkeler, did not want to get out of the water! Lol! The food smelled wonderful and all who ate said it was delicious!! It was only $10 for all you can eat! There was also a bar for alcohol-beverages and non-alcohol beverages. There were also plenty of chairs and chaise lounge chairs with umbrellas and the sea breeze felt really good! (We had eaten a big breakfast on the ship and were quite thrilled that they gave us free bottles of water. They wanted to make sure we stayed hydrated, and it was obvious that Pedro and Xio truly cared about us!) The small remnants of Mayan Ruins near the ocean and the story of its use there was very cool! It was used by the Mayans to alert them of hurricanes, but that's all I'm saying about that because it was ingenious for a primitive people of the era, and you just have to try this excursion to learn more. Awesome ship with great entertainment for shows. Delicious food in American Icon dining room where we ate. Our server Imade was very careful about my gluten free NEEDS. He was so attentive to everything. Our room was good with balcony overlooking the Central Park. I have to say IF I get another balcony it will be facing the ocean. I missed seeing sunrises and sunsets. The room seemed smaller. We had a hard time finding space other than on the couch to put our empty suitcases. We had two large suitcases and there were only two of us. I miss having a lido deck as the fun entertainment (sexy man contests, scavenger hunt, ice carvings ) and things like that were not available on pool deck probably because there were so many people by the many pools. The pools are PACKED. All in all the ship as a whole did not seem crowed except at the pool. There is plenty of space onboard for people to be. I think on smaller ships there seems to be more music of more variety in different spaces. The promenade deck is full of shops and eateries and that seems to be where people congregate. The Boardwalk was a cool space with the carousel. The shows were ALL great. Our excursions to Jamaica and Cozumel were great. We went on a river raft cruise on the Martha Brae river. Peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend. We went on a Myan Ruin and chocolate tasting excursion. The guide Angel was AWESOME. The excursion was good but be prepared with bug spray for mosquitoes. Brutal at the Myan ruins. We just stayed on the beach in Haiti. It is nice but water is VERY rocky. All in all fabulous cruise on this huge ship. I still will go on smaller ships they all in my opinion have pros and cons.11631 Read Less

My husband and I are loyal to Royal and we love cruising with them. We had sailed on Oasis in 2017 and booked this cruise while on board. We thought we might regret this decision since we had just sailed on Oasis but it was just as amazing the second time around. We are so impressed by the constant smiles on all the staff members, the cleanliness and the activities. We did many of the trivia challenges and game show type activities. We loved the Headliner act, The Edge Effect, the aerial show, Come Fly with Me and the diving show, Oasis of Dreams. The 2 comedians were very funny as well. Unfortunately Cats is not for us. We made it through 15 minutes on our first sailing on Oasis and did not book a seat for it at all on this sailing. Cats will be the reason we are looking at other ships for our future cruises. We love Labadee and go right to Columbus Cove. Great beach with no rocks. Buffet right there. Awesome view of the ship. Perfection. Cozumel is one of our favorite ports. Last year we had a blast at the Salsa, Salsa, Margaritas excursion so this year we did the Mexican Cooking Class with a stay at the Playa Mia beach resort included. It did not disappoint. We had a great time and learned a few cooking tips too. Falmouth is our least favorite port. We strolled around the shopping port and then went back on the ship and had it pretty much to ourselves. Our cabin was spotless and the ice bucket was always filled. We chose My Time Dining this time. Our waiter and the other staff members were great but I think we will choose the Main Dining Room and the second seating next time. The MDR food was very good but I do like a drive by in the Windjammer as well. Always something surprising and delicious there! (Yes, I gained 8 pounds but I am home 5 days and have most of it off already LOL) This was a great vacation and I cannot wait to go on my next Royal Caribbean adventure! Read Less
