We chose this cruise of the dates that fell during our anniversary and location of the port. It was the closest for us to drive to from home.
We enjoyed the activities that were available on the ship and there were plenty of shore excursions to choose from at each destination.
There was a bit of a language barrier for us with some of the staff. And we felt a bit pressured to tip ...
We choose our family vacation to accommodate ages from 2 to 60+. There are plenty of activities for children and adults. Tried the flow rider and ice skated on the same day! We were fortunate and had perfect weather. There were 6,475 passengers on the ship; the Oasis of Seas never really felt crowded. It's it bit strange to say that while on the ship, one of our favorites places was Central ...
Pre holiday in Orlando added to cruise experience and ship was huge with lots to do. Staff in silk dining room were great but man on towel return very grumpy. Perhaps he should try something else. He was very abrupt.
Accommodation very good but central park seemed better for those with no kids. Lovely calm atmosphere whilst BoaRd walk was a little more child friendly. Would stayou in central ...
It was the largest ship going out to see over the fourth. The inside outside balconies which accommodated all 12 of us. The basketball court, water activities were awesome for our teenagers. It accommodated both young and old. That is if you didn’t get run over by those in scooters. The family dinners in the dining room were great but there was no Whow food. The service was poor and it ...
We had a wonderful time on our recent Oasis of the Seas 7 Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise with our two sons aged 14 and 11. Ports of call were St. Maarten, San Juan Puerto Rico and Labadee Haiti. This was our 5th cruise with Royal (3 on Freedom of the Seas, 1 on Enchantment) and our first on Oasis. The ship is just massive and beautiful. We loved sailing Freedom and Oasis did not disappoint. ...
Excellent experience in Grand Suite. Coastal kitchen was a wonderful experience and the staff was exceptional . Having the perks of that but the lounge and barefoot Beach on Haiti was amazing. The size of the bathroom was wonderful with four of us .
The entertainment was great and we really enjoyed the diving show the ice-skating show and the Acrobat show .
My kids love the pools and ...
My family (ages 52,46,50 and 21) chose the Oasis based on what it has to offer. The size of the ship, rock climbing walls, flow rider, zip line, ice skating and the distinct neighborhood themes are all very alluring when shopping for a cruise. We have cruised on 11 other ships but will not do an Oasis class cruise again. Here's why with positives followed by negatives: Quality of food at the ...
This was a cruise to celebrate my father's retirement. My room was myself, husband (both in our 40s), 9 year old son, and 6 year old daughter. We were in a Grand Suite. We also traveled with my parents (who are diamond plus), my 22 year old sister and her boyfriend, and my other sister, her husband (also in their 40s), my 8 year old niece, and my 12 year old nephew. Arrival was super easy. We got ...
First, I read all I could about this ship prior to boarding. Please heed this warning... do NOT take your own extension cord or power strip. Your luggage will get flagged, you'll have to go to deck 3 to retrieve it the first day, and RCL will keep your cord or strip until you disembark on the last day. Not worth the hassle. You CAN however take 2 bottles of wine on board, uncorked, unsealed! ...
It was a birthday cruise for my daughter-in-law and family. It included my grandchildren 8 and 11. The activities for children were wonderful. They wanted to go every evening and stay for the late night activities. The ship was extremely clean with hand sanitizer available at every doorway/entry point. The on-board activities were varied and there is something for every taste. I think the ...
