1st Time Cruiser - Royal Caribbean Did Not Disappoint

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

I will start by saying I am a harsh critic, and while there were some issues, overall, I had a fantastic time and Royal Caribbean deserves all of the credit for it!! I went on a girl's vacation with my mom and sister (mom in 60s, sister and I in late 20s/early 30s respectively). This was the first time my sister and I had been on a cruise and I must say we are now addicted!! We spent 2 days at ...

We were extremely disappointed. 10 of us sailed for the 1st time on RC. Although I have been on carnival twice n it is a party ship, RC was a huge disappointment. The food was not good in the dining room n Simone was not pleasant at all it was like we were rushed. We were not treated like royality on Oasis always had to go to the bar for drinks. The cruise director was not involved with activities ...

We are Diamond Plus Crown and Anchor members. We have sailed 25 times with RCCL and this was our 4th cruise on the Oasis. We chose this cruise because the Oasis is our favorite ship operated by RCCL and from past experiences had the best food. We looked forward to the Holiday cruise leaving Port Canaveral on 11/18/18. We found that there were very long lines waiting to get into the terminal ...

We went on an eastern Caribbean cruise. We had a wonderful time overall, but we were both disappointed with the food in the mdr, the windjammer and the solarium. It was just okay or not really good at all. We ate several of our meals in the specialty restaurants. We ate at Chops, Giovanni's and 150 Central Park. All three were delicious and had great service. Our two favorites were Giovanni's and ...

This was our 6th time with RCCL and the biggest ship but our balcony room was really too small for 3 of us even tough it "sleeps four"! The ship itself is excellent an dthere is plenty to do - the standad of the outdoor diving show and the indoor ice skating was superb .The comedy shows were also good but Cats was far too long and sadly most people left in the interval We did like the fact ...

We sailed on the Allure (2014) and did not have the chance to enjoy the whole ship in 7 days. A B2B on the Oasis this time cured much of that and we would return to the Oasis Class ships in a heart beat. On both trips we had Central Park balconies. Enjoyed the view and the sounds. There were many placed to see the ocean. Inside cabin with perks. The ship was the destination although we explored ...

My wife and I took our 3 children, ages 11, 13, 15 on the Oasis of the Seas. I had been on a number of ships, but not the really big ones and wanted to try the Oasis. My expectations were reasonable, but they were not only met, but far exceeded. Never once did we feel crowded -- which was very impressive for such a large ship. The various dining options were phenomenal. I did a lot of ...

Wanted to check out Haiti but did not know owned by RCI but the beach was nice. Didn't know Jamaica didn't have a beach right off shore so we just shopped a little. I called 3 times to let them know of my dietary needs. They said they had no idea and gave me the shoulder and attitude. Serenity of the Seas had Lactose free milk in my fridge, waters and Ensure upon arrival, the DFB called and ...

Very good overall but missed on simple luxuries

We all really enjoyed the cruise but expected more out of a few things, namely suite level service and the drink package. We found it very difficult to get bottled water and room service seemed put out every time they delivered food to the point that we felt awkward or bad for doing so. We had a family of 5 so we had to do a few dinners and breakfasts in the room and it would have been nice if the ...

The ship was beautiful especially Central Park and the Promenade. The food was excellent in the main dinning room for dinner. The stateroom was uncomfortably small and the shower was minute and totally unacceptable. This was our 14th cruise so we are not novices but we were totally disappointed as to the size of the stateroom. This was the first OASIS class ships we have been on - never again. ...
