We had never been on a big (BIG) ship before, we like sailing from Pt. Canaveral, the Oasis was heading to the Western Caribbean - so we went for it. Glad we did. Good service throughout the cruise, throughout the ship. Our cabin steward Erica always met our needs, brining us ice or more towels whenever we needed them. She saw the sink was not draining so she called maintenance and it was ...
We were three couples staying on the 10th floor with three water balcony rooms. Rooms were typical smaller size but very functional. Ship was amazing and embarkation and debarkation was way better than expected. Not sure why people complain it was so organized. Ship is laid out awesome with different areas to enjoy. Ship while huge never felt crowded with 6000+ guests. Never had to worry ...
This was our first cruise on the Oasis, our seventh with Royal Caribbean—overall, it was a very positive experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary of Labadee, Falmouth, and Cozumel, as well as the days at sea, the latter filled with ample opportunity for both relaxation and busy activity. In terms of onboard entertainment, the ice skating and water shows were excellent. As far as other ...
The trip was excellent from getting on the ship to disembarking. This company knows how to move a lot of people through dinners, shows, buffets. Staff are professional and courteous beyond belief. They do everything in their power to accommodate your wishes. Asked for extra towels and couple wine glasses so my wife and I could have a glass on the balcony, was done in minutes. Cabin attendant was ...
We chose this cruise solely based on the itinerary & date, as we were a group of 8. From the beginning to the end, it just wasn't as good as the Anthem of the Seas. The boarding lines were a nightmare, with the staff unable to control the lines, people rudely cutting, while we followed the instructions. One of of our group had to have their cabin sanitized as it stunk of body odor. Another ...
This was my second time to sail with Oasis (5th RC cruise/10th total cruise) and all of my expectations were exceeded. The ship was at maximum capacity and I never felt like I was in a crowd. Because I've sailed on Oasis before, I knew to make all of our dining and show reservations in advance.
This was my first time to dine at Chops and it was delicious! However, I felt the Main Dining ...
Why go on a ship with 6000 other passengers? To experience the size of spaces that a ship of this size can only provide. The size and scope of the shows are also difficult if not impossible for other ships to duplicate . We were on the allure of the seas about four years ago on a Mediterranean cruise and The shows on the oasis were far superior.
Somethings that come to mind are we ...
Overall this was one of the best experiences in my life and I am now looking at other cruises.
Getting aboard was long lines but went relatively fast and I feel they do an excellent job considering the number of people.
This is a massive ship with all the bells & whistles and most of the time was very relaxing but the pool area needs more lounge chairs or better overlook on guests reserving ...
Our group consisted of 6 people, my wife and myself, our two adult daughters, our son-in-law and our 7-month old granddaughter. We are "loyal to Royal", having completed 14 cruises with RCCL, many of them with our daughters when they were younger. This was our third experience on Oasis-class ships.
Overall, we had a good time, and I think this class of ship is ideal for a group with a broad ...
Beautiful ship. Lots of entertainment and things to do. Staff in general were a mix - some great and some rude. I fell and twisted my ankle, very obvious since it turned lots of colors. Was told to go to medical - they were closed and had been for hours. It wasn't a big deal, could have used a wrap but the attitude by the main desk was very poor. The two gentlemen that helped me get up were lovely ...
