We wanted to experience a mega ship! Oasis of the Seas did not disappoint. Ship is amazing - we did not find it too large and loved the variety of dining options, bars, pools and outdoor activities, SPA, etc. I have cruised over 7 times with different cruise lines and found the staff on this mega ship simply amazing.. probably the best ever! From the guy painting to the cruise staff and ...
I was amazed with the size and amenities on the ship. Our rooms was well designed and great for a couple. Under bed storage is great.
The room was showing signs of needing maintenance. The carpet was stained and dirty in places. The drawers in the vanity were worn and needed to be maintained. The sliding patio window was very difficult to open.
Royal parade was mainly shopping events ...
As back ground it has been about 15 years since we have taken an ocean cruise. Our three cruises were with Carnival. The largest ship we have ever sailed on was 70 tons. Since becoming empty nesters 5 years ago we have been blessed to travel several times a year. We have been on luxury class river cruises and 5 star all inclusive resorts. So when two other couples invited us to travel with ...
Our adult children's' first cruise and we wanted a full list of options and activities for them. Oasis offered that. The level of service and options on this ship are extraordinary. The food throughout the ship was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the Solarium Bistro and Sabor Mexican fare. The adult children enjoyed many of the activities on the ship, from the FloRiders, rock climbing walls, ...
We have a group of friends who cruise together once a year, always on RCL. We chose the Oasis this year, not for where it was going, but to experience the ship. Of the 60, only two say they would go on it again. While beautiful, there are too many people and too few staff. Next to impossible to get a drink in a bar unless you stand at the bar yourself. The ship is too big to go into ports where ...
Our community card group does an annual cruise and this year selected the Oasis which I was anxious to try because I wanted to see if it was appropriate for a family cruise. We really liked the ship but it is really big. It was reported to be fully booked but never seemed crowded on our tRip. Everyone enjoyed the cruise. However, that being said, another group from our community was on the same ...
We chose the Oasis of the Seas because we wanted to try one of the larger ships in the RCCL lineup to see how we would like it compared to the medium class (like Vision of the Seas). We were not disappointed at all. We had a Crown Loft suite and the experience was Outstanding. Great Suite service & Costal Kitchen staff made the experience a 15 on a 1-10 scale. Obviously the room was pretty fab all ...
What a wonderful family vacation. From start to finish, we felt SO taken care of. I'm so glad that we opted for a stateroom above Central Park. It was so beautiful. My petite 5 year old loved her window seat and in fact, she fit perfectly there and slept there. Although the pull out sofa bed would have perfectly sufficed. Our cabin was about 200 sq feet and was actually bigger than a balcony ...
This is my Fifth cruise. This ship is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! Staff is excellent. We did specialty dining every night and everything was great!. nothing like eating outside in central park or watching the sunset from our table in the Solarium restaurant. Shows were excellent. I cant even describe. Make sure you go to the 70s party and stand by Sorrentos. also the parade the last night. Such a ...
This was my husband's and my 6th cruise with RCCL, second on Oasis. We originally planned to cruise with another couple who backed out when they discovered they were pregnant.
We'd cruised out of Port Canaveral on the Freedom before without issue, but the port is not set up well to handle to big Oasis class ships. The traffic was a mess, our Cocoa Beach Shuttle drive navigated it well but it ...
