Great ship

It's been 5 years since we've sailed on Royal Caribbean although a Platinum member. We went with family including grandchildren that wanted to visit Perfect Day at Coco Cay. The ship has so much for every age to enjoy. Even though there were 6500 passengers waiting in line was not a problem. My only issues was two of us paid $1100 total for the Deluxe Alcohol package and on day 4 they ...

The Decline of Royal Caribbean

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

My family and I have cruised with Royal Caribbean many times and have enjoyed them in the past. However, in recent years the experience has become increasingly subpar and pedestrian. Our recent experience will be our last. Customer service is a thing of the past at Royal Caribbean. There are two statements that are independently true. 1. Royal Caribbean makes mistakes. 2. The staff ...

We chose this cruise because we enjoyed our experience 6 years ago when we sailed on it from Florida. We've been on 5 RCI cruises and like the vibe for families. The issues started prior to boarding: 1. Children's in terminal COVID tests took almost 1 hour. Rapid test results typically take at most 15 minutes but they made us wait 1 hour. Our son has autism, and and this was conveyed to the ...

Awesome Oasis of the Seas cruise

The biggest reason for this cruise was going on an Oasis class ship. Considering the size with 5700 guests, never really felt crowded except sometimes trying to find a table at times in the Windjammer. Perfect Day at Coco Cay was just that. We splurged for a cabana and now I don't think we would go with out one again, the service was great. it was nice to have a place to go relax in the shade, the ...

The Suite Life - the Covid Reality

Booked this cruise back in December 2020 with Credit card points that were expiring. Got a Crown Loft Suite. Cancelled a few times because of Covid concerns, but finally sailed. Still wasn't crazy about covid levels but I came up with a plan. You used to be able to arrive at port early if you have a suite. We were given a 1:30 time slot, and could arrive an hour early as a suite customer. It ...

Stay away from Royal Caribbean

The absolute worst cruise I've ever been on. Filthy rooms, bad food, lost our luggage and never found it ( there was cash inside it), surprise it was never found..lol, extraordinarily rude guest services, our sofa was so filthy we couldn't sit on it, they covered it with a bed sheet! Entertainment was very disappointing. We had trouble with this cruise since 2 days after we made the reservation, ...

We wanted to try an oasis class ship and now we are in love! The Central Park and our balcony overlooking it was fabulous. All the shows were spectacular. The food and service was wonderful. We did the chefs table and it was so so good! 150 central was a great specialty restaurant also. The fried cheesecake was so tasty! There was so much to see and do and the bars were great with lots of tasty ...

We have been on many lines for many years (1994 first cruise on Sovereign) Celebrity and RCCL have been our favorites. We missed cruising tremendously so booked several when things reopened. Oct 2021 Allure, Nov 2021 Independence and just now finished a 4 night on Oasis. You can look up my review on Allure and see what a great time we had. Things on this trip, not so much. We have a Princess ...

We spent 7 days on the Oasis and could have spent another 7 without seeing everything. Thankfully we had a balcony cabin or I wouldn't have necessarily known we were on a ship. The main dining room was beautiful, the food good and the service spectacular! The Aqua Theatre show (Aqua 80) was so amazing...it was like cirque du soleil meets an 80's dance party! we saw it 3 times. the Ice ...

Pros: Great Bar BQ, desserts , Ice show, aqua80 and Magician. Cons: everything else! food horrid, Cabin service; never saw him, Cruise director, hid the whole trip. Cool decking around each pool needs to be redone. There are no printed itineraries to inform you of days events. $30.00 /day for 2 for cabin gratitude for someone to make a bed and a towel animal every night seems excessive. $2.50 ...
