I fell when in line for the security check prior to boarding. As a result I dislocated my collar bone and was very limited as to what I could do on the cruise...but that didn't deter me from having a great time. I did spend a lot of time in my stateroom and never went ashore, however I went to the Dining Rooms and saw much of the available entertainment. It was a great time and I look forward ...
I was hesitant to sail on one of the large ships due to crowd size but I will never hesitate again. One of the fastest check-in/embarkation processes we've ever had, everything ran very efficiently and quickly. The service was great throughout the entire cruise from room attendant to wait staff in the dining room. We've always enjoyed Royal Caribbean Ships and all the shows they have, however ...
Big beautiful ship with many ways to entertain as well as relax. While all staff were friendly and helpful, the main dining room staff was the best! The number of passengers is the largest we've experienced but everything was so well run and organized that we were unaware of the large number of people.
The beach at Labadee Haiti was lovely and enjoyed. The 3 Reef Snorkling tour at Cozumel was ...
This was our 3rd time sailing on the Oasis of the Seas and 5th Royal Caribbean cruise. The Oasis is enormous but the design of the ship never makes you feel crowded or overwhelmed. The innovative design of "neighborhood" areas keeps the cruise fun and interesting. The food on this particular cruise was exceptional. RC has upped their game with the food service on the Oasis. The first time on this ...
easy access from Florida. Ship is new, some of the staff is mediocre. The main dining food is okay but nothing to brag about. Royal is really trying to get all to go out and pay for the upgraded dining. We did two nights and it was good, just not happy we had to pay extra. Our cabin stewart was not great. Seemed like it was a bother to him.
I'm sorry they are starting to ...
I'm My traveling companion and I are loyal RCCL cruisers. We are two middle-aged women who love a week or longer on a winter cruise, escaping from New England winter sans spouses! We tend to like the larger ships, mostly for the variety and caliber of the restaurants and entertainment. Both the Allure and Oasis fulfilled our expectations. Our latest, on the Oasis, traveled to Labedee, Jamaica, and ...
This cruise was a Christmas gift for my wife and I for our 30th anniversary. We were not sure what to expect. We could have not chosen a better cruse line or ship. The Oasis of the Seas will not disappoint.
Here are 5 things you should know as a first time cruiser:
1) Packing: You do not need an entire wardrobe. pack rather lightly but take one or two pair of dress clothes and a tie for the ...
As first time cruisers, on the biggest ship, we did not know what to expect. Whether you come in by car, taxi, or shuttle you get in the same line as everyone else. The lines are long, but the entire process of going through customs, and then going upstairs to get in line again by group to get your ID/pass for the week goes smoothly and takes about an hour.
Then you make your way into the ship ...
