We are "Loyal to Royal," we choose this ship because we were in Allure last year and had a great time. This year we went out or Port Canaveral and the line for embarkation (the security line) was ridiculous. We waited over an hour and a half to get through security. Once we got through check-in was quick and easy.
The ship was clean and everything was in working order. There was something ...
We went with friends. It was over spring break and its just what the kids needed. The ship was beautiful. The cabins were a great size. The one we had was a balcony room. Waking up to the ocean and seeing the blue waters was always exciting time. Dinner was always a treat. You could ordered a starter, an entree, and a dessert every night. The kids loved the Flo Rider, rock climbing, pools, ...
I'm 50 yrs old with a family. I've cruised a lot with several cruise lines. All of then have there good and bad but they want you to have a good time. Royal is so obviously HORRIBLE I don't know how anyone likes them. The food in the buffet was terrible. The deserts were uninspired and tasteless. I must say the main dining rooms Service is very good and the food is good not great. But the worst ...
Very inefficient embarkation process. Ship has been in service for 8 years and its is beginning to look scruffy. The staterooms are tiny. Drinking water is not included in price of the stateroom. 18 USD pr day per device for internet access is unheard of in 2017. As is 60 USD for photographs per person. The food was at best mediocre but the serving staff were extremely helpful. Staff seem to be ...
The Oasis of the Seas was an awesome ship to cruise on! We have been on several cruises and found this ship to be very clean with lots of great amenities. We traveled with our teenage son who found lots to do. The ports of call were memorable, especially zip lining at Labadee and the Twister boat and Passion Island excursion at Cozumel (our teen's favorite!)
My wife and I had a very fun ...
OASIS OF THE SEAS—AWESOME SHIP/SUPERB STAFF
My wife and I took our third cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas. This time we cruised with family members in three adjacent balcony cabins on deck 11 forward. The ship is a wonderful venue for a special family event!
We sailed from Port Canaveral’s terminal one on April 9, 2017 on the Western Caribbean itinerary. Port Canaveral; ...
Best food, Most entertainment and activities, outstanding shore excursions and wonderful friendly and courteous staff. Every eating place is good. You can not go wrong by booking a cruise on this Ship. There is something to do for any age group. Lots of sport activities to keep those teenagers busy. We enjoyed watching the youth and young adults try their athletic ability at knee boarding and ...
Bring some extra cash to go to the specialty dining areas. The food in the Windjammer got boring. Also, avoid the Windjammer altogether. The Park Cafe and the Wipe Out Cafe serve similar meals without the rat race and they offer some additional items too. You have to reserve the shows and every time we went to book on the in room TV the shows was full. however, the open the seating to everyone 10 ...
Wonderful ship on so many levels:
Embarkation: We did the stay and play package from Port Canaveral: arrived at the airport and had transportation to Hilton at Cocoa Beach: great hotel. Stayed a few days at the hotel then Sunday we had 11am pickup from the hotel to the cruise ship. We were at the cruise terminal by 1115am and on the boat by 1230pm. Coast Guard had an inspection and RCC stopped ...
This was our 6 cruise and a great experience on such a big ship. I liked the 3 ports of call spaced out so that Labadee, Hati and Falmuth, Jamaca were day and day and then a day at sea to Cozumel. We have been on other cruises where we had 4-5 stops and for this cruise, 3 was just right. Take advantage of every show that you can, but pre-register for all of the shows that you want to see as ...
