Lots of fun on a very large ship

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

We've sailed with RCL in the past and wanted to go on this really large ship. The Port of Canaveral (Orlando) is a pleasure to leave from. Get there early, drive into the parking garage where your luggage will be taken and find your parking space. There is a charge for parking here that you pay upon arriving in the garage. Check in was easy and the wait to board wasn't long. Upon disembarkation,we ...

To be quiet honest I was skeptical because the person that was assigned to handle my travel reservations (MP) did not return any calls to me nor my family and friends that was booked for this trip. Every time one of us called we spoke with someone different. It turned out to be a wonderful experience for my daughter's first cruise and college graduation. Housekeeping, Activities and Dining ...

Overall we had a nice trip. It was very relaxing and there were many things to do on the ship. I was not impressed with the food in the main dining room in the evenings, however I thought the Windjammer had a lot of options, especially for my gluten and dairy sensitivities. I wish I would have known about the Solarium restaurant on Day 1. There was a lot more healthier options there and I would ...

I chose Royal Caribbean because of its ratings and personal recommendations. The cruise was great for my first time. Our cabin was nice. The stateroom attendant, Mohan, was very nice and greeted us with a smile every time we saw him. The dining in the main dining room was exceptional. The staff was great. Our attendant, Min, was exceptional. She had a great sense of humor and by the ...

I did not choose this ship but am so glad I got to go on such a beautiful vessel. The entertainment was exceptional and I loved walking down central park and stop at the little cafes. The ship was so large and over whelming but I finally found my way around. The food service was over the top. The ship, the streets, the rooms, public bath rooms, casino were immaculate. And all the crew dressed ...

Some good, some not so good

we went on this cruise for a family vacation, party of 12, brothers, sisters, in laws etc. Our room was good, much like other staterooms, however my sister`s room, had the bed by the closet and it was a tight squeeze, poor layout for these rooms, ours was ok because the bed was by the balcony door. Main deck entertainment on sea days very poor. Cats show is boring, great costumes, but production ...

We were not certain we would like this larger ship, but after the first day, we fell in love with Oasis of the Seas. Even though there were 6200 passengers onboard, the ship never felt crowded. Shows: All were good. Cats was my favorite! Need to read the storyline before seeing this show so you will understand. Dining: We only ate one meal in the Windjammer due to so many other complimentary ...

We had a great time. Unfortunately it rained a bit in St Thomas and St Maarten but no one only mother nature controls the weather! The service was great, the ship awesome and the experience memorable. This has been our second time on Oasis and we love the ship as there is lots to do. Some folks are overwhelmed by the size but we loved it. The service and attendants were excellent and we had ...

Price & accommodations & ports of call were reasons for traveling. Boarding & exiting ship was the easiest we ever had & no problem with customs. Cabins were clean , spacious, the views were phenomenal from our stateroom, the dining staff were excellent & entertaining & anticipated our likes & dislikes. The acoustics for some of the evening shows made it hard to understand what was being ...

Great ship!!! Great Service!!! Windjammer dinner was excellent. Johnny Rockets breakfast was a pleasant surprise with "loaded breakfast potatoes" being extremely delicious. Pool staff was very attentive and friendly. Loved sitting on deck 5 at the back of the ship in the morning drinking my coffee with it being very peaceful (not many people are aware there are chairs down there being it is the ...
