Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

We had a great time on this cruise the only issue was they did not have any post cards or anything for younger children to purchase. Multiple cruisers were looking for these items as well. When we got to the Bahamas a lot of the stores were closed down (most likely due to covid) so we were unable to bring anything back for our grandkids which was a bummer. The cruise itself was nice the kids ...

WELCOME BACK TO ROYAL

I love cruising and I have missed it soo much. I was so lucky to be able to book a last-minute cruise on Oasis. I am fully vaccinated plus I just received my booster. My husband and I are both nurses. I am so happy that Royal wants everyone vaccinated and tested except for children who are not able to be vaccinated. It is impossible to write a review without talking about COVID protocols. ...

Oasis of the Seas Sailed out of Bayonne, NJ on October 3, 2021 on Oasis of the Seas. Excited to cruise again. We had last sailed March 2020 the day before CDC advised not to cruise. On that voyage, one port was closed to us and then San Juan denied us our return debarkation. Scary ending to a trip, but we felt ready now to cruise on a Vaccination Required ship. First time out of Bayonne, ...

quality is dropping

The food quality has dropped and drinks appear to now be very watered down. This is definitely a decline over past cruises with RCCL. They must be struggling due to running at lower capacity with Covid, but they should not be skimping on quality to get by. I was very disappointed. I have cruised almost exclusively with RCCL for over 20 years and this has been the worst. The room was fine - ...

We did b2b2b. So many of our cruises were canceled we decided to do this. Wonderful is not good enough. Ship was at reduced capacity no problem with that. Mask among us who are vaccine was never a problem. I have a difficult time with masks, problem was almost non existent Show were available to us all over the ship Adult only pool was closed to unvaccinated . Walking to shops and in ...

Cruising is different but still good

We chose this cruise because we live in Buffalo New York and we could drive to New Jersey to disembark after 15 months of not sailing. We've sailed on other Oasis class ships but never this one and really wanted to experience it. Highlights were: portside BBQ, aqua 80 show, frozen in time ice skating show, Apollo 18 escape room, coastal kitchen and suite lounge. The crew is doing a great job ...

I won a lottery to allow us free passage on this cruise. It was a Simulation out of Bayone NJ as a "Royal Comeback" This was my first time cruising with the RCCL and so I was 1 excited to be back at sea, 2 excited to try a new line, 3 excited to try a new port and port of call. Of course the staff of RCCL was very particular in following the CDC prescribed protocols for the return to ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

Heard it was great but honestly it is too big and we don’t smoke and think they should place smoking section anywhere except wher the two main bars on the swimming pools are located. Every time you went to get the over priced drink you had to walk through the smoking area to get it. The beds are terrible, the repair had to be made to our balcony door because of wind noise. It took 3 request ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

First Time Cruiser • Age 30s

I wanted to write a quick little review for any parents travelling with young children. Under 2! I found this hard to find when I was reading reviews prior to cruising. My first piece of advice is to travel with family. We made the mistake of not bringing our parents and we wished every day that we would have. I think our trip would have been waaay more relaxing if we had done this. We ...
