My husband and I have sailed exclusively with Royal Caribbean. We have been on all of the Sovereign class ships and we sailed on the Enchantment. Freedom was a step up in size and class, and we wanted to try it.
Freedom is a beautiful ship, we experienced great dining and entertainment, great service, and a ship that only felt crowded twice, during muster, and after we tendered back from Grand ...
We flew into Miami and stayed in Sunny Isles before driving to Fort Lauderdale the following day. We got to port for around 11/11:30am and were on board within an hour of going through security and checking in. We were in awe of the size of the ship and everything it had to offer. We loved our cabin, it was perfect and better than we thought after reading reviews. Our stops were to Grand Cayman, ...
We chose this ship for its advertised entertainment and activities.
We had more fun in Ft Lauderdale before the cruise.
The ship is reasonably nice some of the areas are dated and others have been renovated. the cabins are normal the dining is disappointing. The entertainment was either a low definition 3d film or bad act. The service is normal. The pool closes EARLY like 6 or 7 they run you ...
My wife and I have sailed Royal Caribbean 3 times before, always a very good experience. Freedom of the Seas was a beautiful ship, clean and well maintained. The staff, very attentive and friendly at every point of contact. Our wait staff for the main dinner, Adrin and Nadia, nothing short of excellent! The food was very good. We had one evening at Giovanni's where the food and service was ...
We had nice diembarkation and embarkation. Nice room, nice interior of the ship and you dont feel that it is overcrowded. Nice entertainment onboard but the shopping facilities were medicore and with no discount at all, only minor like 10%(except a few watch brands)
The main dining room was nice with nice waiters and the food was quite good overall. Windjammer has the same food every day which ...
My 2 previous cruises were on RC and we have always enjoyed the cruise line and ports. Unfortunately, our cruise was not able to stop at St. Martin, but we enjoyed the ports that we were able to go to.
Ship:
Freedom of the Seas was in pretty good shape except for some minor cosmetic dings. The ship is large and offers lots of entertainment for many different tastes including comedy shows, ...
We have been loyal Royal Caribbean Cruisers ever since our first cruise March of 2016. After our next NYE Cruise, we’ll be Diamond level in their Crown & Anchor Society.
From the start, typically, embarkation was smooth and easy. Having sailed on the Allure OTS in September and the great experience we had on that ship, our expectations were set pretty high. Freedom and her crew didn’t let us ...
We have cruised with three companies in the past and Royal Caribbean is not only our favorite it is now our only cruise line. Customer service, cleanliness, and activities aboard are superior to other cruise lines. In addition, the price point is perfect, the staff is amazing, and we have never had a bad experience. We love cruising so much my boyfriend proposed on this cruise at an amazing port ...
Theis is the same identical cruise we took in 2016. We enjoyed it so much we booked it again for 2017. Great crew, food, entertainment, and wonderful service. Our cabin was of course great as we book the same one from 2016. It was good to see some of the same staff still on board the Freedom.
The Spa experience was new to me this time around. I had two acupuncture treatments and totally ...
We picked this 6-day cruise solely on the basis of the dates... had to fit it into a predetermined vacation schedule. It was just happenstance that it was RCCL and the Freedom of the Seas. We would have likely picked Celebrity were it not for the dates.
In brief, the cruise wasn't terrible, it wasn't great... it was, well, average. And it wasn't a bargain... not a great value for what we ...
