This was our second time on Freedom of the Seas ... It fit into everyone's schedule & we had gotten a decent price ... We are all " Loyal to Royal "
Food & menus in main dining rooms were A - There is room for improvement as we have found the food on Carnival to be equal or sometimes better !
Great friendly staff ... cabin stewardess as well ...
Another fun cruise vacation served by Royal Caribbean. This cruise met our expectation much more than did the previous year on Independence of The Seas. The difference in the attitude of the crew, from IOTS and FOTS, was night and day. The Freedom crew went out of their way to make the trip pleasant and enjoyable.
Embarkation - Excellent
The embarkation process was amazingly easy. We arrived ...
This cruise was amazing! We traveled on the 7 night eastern Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral. I have sailed out of NYC, Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, this is by far the easiest travel port that I have experienced. Parking is easy and close by and the port is well organized.
I traveled with my two and a half year old son, and we had a wonderful time! We had a promenade room which he enjoyed ...
Our 5th cruise, 3rd on RC so we have a basis for comparison. The positives: our Jr Suite was terrific. Largest cabin with most storage ever. Food was good by cruising standards. Amentities, entertainment and prominade were good. Kelly the pianist and his nightly spotlight on different artists was the entertainment highlight for me.
Areas for improvement: many (not all) of the staff seemed to ...
(I am a writer at heart, so this may be long!) I sailed with my sister and 75-year-old mother on the Freedom of the Seas Western Caribbean itinerary. My mother and sister are big-time cruisers (they hold status on several cruise lines) - I am definitely not, so this cruise review is written from the following perspective... I had four previous sailing on Royal Caribbean's Sovereign Class ships, ...
the ship was great. this was my 6th cruise with royal caribbean and last. the service was not good at dinner. the servers around the pool were not there as much as other cruises i have been on.
took my son on royalcaribbean for frist time. he said this what your talking about who said they were the best there not. he will not go back to royalcarribbean again. nothing to do after dinner till ...
Our recent cruise on Freedom of the Seas was fantastic! I must say the best yet. The crew are were very friendly & attentive, always willing to assist, answer questions and provide wonderful information about themselves. After just a short time we had made some beautiful friendships and were sad to be leaving them.
The ship is beautiful, I love the promenade, so easy to navigate to ...
This was our 6th cruise and 4th Royal Caribbean cruise. This was our first mega-ship and I guess I was expecting a little more. The rooms are showing some age, but they were very clean. The bed was rock-hard and the couch was a little worn. Also, we we're traveling with our daughter and we were told there was a privacy curtain that could divide the room to make dressing easier, but the curtain ...
We’re a family of 4 (kids are 10 & 13) and this is our 3rd cruise together and first time to Caribbean (previous trips were on Carnival and Norwegian). I booked 2 excursions about 2 months before, direct with RC. Normally I book excursions independently. About 1 week before we left, I logged on to my account to print off the itinerary and I didn’t see one excursion I had previously booked. I ...
We just got back on Sunday from our FOS Eastern Sailing, I'm still on the post-cruise hang-over, but wanted to share a few thoughts...
1. Port Canaveral - We've been out of Ft Lauderdale 3 times, and Tampa once, this was, by far, the easiest port to get through.
2. The ship was beautiful and in great condition. First time on FOS, we've been on Independence. I didn't care for the artwork, ...
