My time dining but had reservations at 5:30 every night but 1 when we got there close to 6pm. Table 44 &45. Our 2 dining room servers, Siddhesh & Kamel were FANTASTIC!!!! I wanted to cruise with family & Port Canaveral was close to them. The cabin was one of the best ever & had a great steward. The food was indifferent except in the extra cost Chops Restaurant. Service & food were excellent. The rest of the food tasted frozen or low quality.
Service near the pool was non existent. If my brother & I wanted a drink we had to go to the bar to get it. Dirty dishes ...
Freedom the Seas May 1st - May 8th 2016
My spouse and I traveled for our 10th Anniversary. All I can say is that this cruise was above and beyond what we expected and were completely happy with our investment.
I researched the best I could on RCL and what to do, and am truly surprised at negative reviews of RCL.
DAY ONE EMBARKATION:
Embarkation day was a Sunday was clear, quick, ...
Our third Cruise. It was wonderful. Entertainment was best on this ship. Also, the food was top notch and the cruise directors made it a really fun and enjoyable cruise. I recommend it to all ages. There was entertainment there for everyone. Captain Toni was very informative and answered all my questions on how the ship was run. Cruise director John made everything fun. We can't wait until ...
Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas Review
First impressions:
The Freedom of the Seas is a large, 155,000 ton, cruise chip that carries over 4500 passengers and 1500 crew members. It is a clean, well maintained ship. Its facilities are good. I especially liked the gym facility.
My first day experience left a negative impression that got reinforced throughout the cruise. Hawkers ...
The food in the Windjammer and main dinning room was the same each day. It was over cooked and under seasoned. The eggs benedict - eggs hard, sauce tasted like past. The quiche was to have been cooked onions there was no taste as there were no onions to be found and WAYOVER cooked. The Café Promenade and Sorrento's on deck 5 had better food then the dinning room or the Windjammer.

This was our first cruise with Royal Caribbean. We had cruised with Carnival, Norwegian and Princess in the past. We selected the Freedom of the Seas because of the itinerary and the dates. This was our tenth cruise.
We cruised the Freedom of the Seas April 24 to May 1, 2016. We really enjoyed the ship and all it has to offer. We enjoyed the atmosphere. People were there to have a good time. ...
This was my 9th cruise overall. I have cruised Carnival once, Princess twice and now Royal six times. I am 53 and I sailed with my mother who is 72 who is also an experienced cruiser.
Embarkation was the earliest and easiest I've ever experienced especially since this was my first time as a Platinum member and we had booked a Jr. Suite. We were in line to get into Terminal 1 at 10:30. I ...
In April 2016, my wife and I embarked on a seven day cruise from Port Canaveral with port calls at Labadee Haiti, Falmouth, Jamaica, George Town, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel, Mexico. I am in my fifties and my wife is in her forties. We are both Crown and Anchor Society Diamond members and this was our 14th cruise with Royal Caribbean. It was also our third cruise to the Western Caribbean. In ...
the timing was good for the window of time that we had. Thought that a bigger ship would have more for our 20 something daughters to do. Embarkation was quick but then everyone pretty much forced into buffet with all carry-on luggage since couldn't get to cabin until later. Debarking was a nightmare with spending over 2 hrs in lines on the ship and in customs.
Liked the mini golf and ...
