I like the concept of freestyle cruising, and the Norwegian boat is very nice. The Alaska ports are absolutely breathtaking, but the cruise was not the best. The customer service depends on who you are dealing with, some are cold and seem irritated in their job. The food is terrible!
Compared to my cruises on Costa and Carnival where most everything was good, most meals in the dining room ...
Our first time on Norweigian and it was better than expected. We took our 3 grand sons, 3.5, 6.5, and an 8 year old. Lots of fun things for all ages and lots of kids on the ship so we never felt that ours were a bother to anyone. All the crew were so great and were good with the boys. Ship is older but clean and comfy. Food was great in the speciality restaurants , but just ok in the main dinning ...
There were four of us on this cruise: husband/wife in 30s, grandma in 60s, and a 2 year-old.
Our mini-suite cabin was great. We liked our steward, and we were very comfortable.
The food was majorly disappointing on this cruise.
The organization of port days and shore excursions was not great.
Some staff members (restaurants, BINGO) made it a memorable cruise for the WRONG ...
We had a wonderful time on a beautiful cruise to Alaska.
Embarkation: So, the Port of Settle is not the most cruiser friendly. NCL did a wonderful job, but the cruise terminal is jammed between the main street and the pier.
Food: We at both main restaurants and some of the specialty restaurants. This was our 8th NCL cruise and compared to others, the service and atmosphere at the Azura ...
My niece had flown with Norwegian Air while in Europe and raved about the experience, so when she graduated from college we decided to use Norwegian Cruise Lines to travel to Alaska. Our expensive, once in a lifetime vacation.
I booked the entire trip through the Norwegian Cruise Line desk. The first words out of my mouth were "I AM IN A WHEEKCHAIR". This must mean something different ...
I have been on approx. 8 cruises with Princess and Celebrity combined. I got a semi free cruise from Harrahs which I upgraded to a Balony for $2000.00. Which seemed at the time a deal. You get what you pay for. The room steward on normal cruises are all over you to welcome you to the Cruise I did not see him for 4 days. The bathroom is a Joke you must understand I weigh 400lbs and I had to ...
This was our first cruise. I was amazed by how helpful, friendly and genuinely caring the staff was. The food was fantastic. I had delicious seafood 2-3 times a day. We found a bartender that is the best! Kumar made me and my husband drinks that were so good. I had him surprise me and after 1 or 2 questions he made me a drink that I loved.
Every excursion was great. Not a problem on or ...
This was our first cruise. We took our grandson. Loved the Cruise as a Norwegian. Left the fancy clothes at home. Everyone, staff and tourists, were helpful and friendly. Great food-enjoyed the variety and different "ethnic" foods. Wonderful shore excursions. Evening entertainment-outstanding-those that we didn't go to, our grandson went to. Sufficient smoking areas, and those didn't ...
I am a long time cruiser, this was my 4th trip to Alaska and the worst one of the 4. Here are all the issues that NCL really needs to work on:
1. I booked a last minute trip and checked in the day before but did not receive my eDocs. I called in for help and the rep was really rude. He said something about merging accounts (which I did not create), apparently their systems create a Latitudes ...
My family & I sailed on the Norwegian jewel in June 2015 for an Alaskan Cruise. It was awesome! The staff on the ship were extremely nice and courteous. The ship was clean and food was good.
We couldn't have asked for better weather in Alaska! It was gorgeous! We took 2 excursions both through NCl, 1 was the whale watching in Juneau which was very good and the other was a train ride in ...
