Travel Agent suggested it. I researched on line and found that it seemed to be the best for the money. There was a great selection of shore excursions that were available. I enjoyed them very much. I liked the fact that they were for everyone. My son (he's 24) went on excursions that were more strenuous and i went on excursions that were a little more laid back. The only problem with the trip was ...

Avoided a Hurricane and Excellent Service

Never did I guess I'd be on a Hawaiian cruise and have to worry about a hurricane, but it just happened. Only the 3rd hurricane to ever hit the islands. Norwegian was amazing. They changed the itinerary a few times, we missed a couple ports but didn't mind. They took us from Maui to Kauai to avoid the brunt of Hurricane Lane which hit the Big Island. We left Kauai a day early as well and they took ...

We really enjoyed our trip on the POA. We've done other NCL ships before but not this one. This ship is meant to stop/port multiple times but unfortunately because of hurricane Lane our port days were cut short. The Captain, staff, and crew really made us feel safe and the ride wasn't too bad. Overall our room wasn't too bad, the bed was nice and we had a good view. Because there's not a ...

Only cruise to visit all the Hawaiian Islands. We did the extended cruise with three days at The Marriott Waikiki with excursions every day. We went to the North Shore and to the Polynesian Cultural Centre that was excellent. All day at Pearl Harbour and the the next day with lunch provided at the Kaolua Ranch. Our tour guide Keou kept us all on our toes and nothing was too much for him. We ...

This cruise was for a first time family visiting Hawaii. It was our way of experiencing each island. This was our third cruise with Norwegian and this absolutely exceeded my expectations. Clean room, mattress, sheets and outstanding service. Outstanding service from Yolanda (cabin steward), Pamela, Jelly, Jami (cruise director) Anne and the entire crew that we met. An infectious crew with their ...

We looked into island hopping and found it to be significantly more expensive than cruising the islands. This cruise gave a wonderful exposure to the islands. We went on excursions at all stops and each was enjoyable in its own way. This was our fifth cruise overall, and our first on NCL. The ship was clean and gave us a smooth ride, but we also enjoyed great weather. Our cabin staff kept ...

We had an amazing time on the cruise! We’ve never been to Hawaii before but have been on other NCL ships. This ship is smaller and older but still nice and feels more homey than other ships we’ve been on. The food was pretty decent in all the free locations and very good in the paid restaurants. We really enjoyed the stake house. The Japanese restaurant was also very yummy. The ...

Food, Food, Food! Tons of options, some included, some part of the specialty dining package. Overall, lots of choices. I enjoyed every one and highly recommend Cagney's Steak House and Moderno Churrascaria. Aloha Cafe had a Puseortuguese beef stew that tasted like my Mom's! Personnel - mostly friendly, helpful folks. Housekeeping staff were especially nice. Did have a couple of bad ...

Leading up to our 7 day Hawaiian cruise on NCL's Pride of America, I did a LOT of research. I read most of the reviews posted on this site plus every other piece of information I could find online. I did this because I had been responsible for arranging the cruise for my four friends and I and overall the reviews I found here and elsewhere were not very positive. I was therefore nervous that I was ...
