We chose this cruise because our friends booked it in November 2018 and we thought it would be great to be together and it was wonderful!!
All the staff no matter the rank were very polite, friendly and very helpful and great at their jobs...from the wait staff in the morning, to the pool staff, our cabin stewards (Hank), etc.
But, in particular we thoroughly enjoyed our 'anytime' dining ...
we were looking for a 10 day cruise with good hot weather, which we did get. We have been on this ship before and it has since been refurbished but I'm not sure what parts. It seemed exactly the same as 10 years ago. Maybe the specialty restaurants which we did not go to. The cabins were exactly the same but with very mushy beds. We chose twin beds which were extremely small and too soft. They ...
The itinerary as well as the 10 days, gives you more time to enjoy activities as well as time to relax.
The cruise director, Peter and his staff were wonderful. Alwyn was especially good at his position of assistant cruise director, then Song and Will. There was another member and I can’t reme correct spelling or pronunciation, Bongani.
We enjoyed about every aspect of the cruise, many ...
We arrived the day before, choosing a hotel with free transferts from airport and to port. But, they changed the rules before we gat there, so now they charge 10$/pers to port... a taxi cost 25$. We were 4 adults, so we chose the taxi.
Embarcation was fast (we are Platinium) and they offer cake and coffe while we wait in a private lounge.
The ship, our cabin, dining venues and especialy the ...
We wanted a relaxing time away and to warm up!!!. The crew was exceptional especially in the bars and international cafe The Salty Dog Grill had exceptional grilled food and offered a good variety. It could be substituted for main course if you don't want buffet or dining room. The dining room breakfast was good far better than dinner. Service at dinner was always slow. We really enjoyed the ...
First let me say, we are avid Celebrity Cruisers, or at least used to be. When they introduced the Edge we were excited about something new, BUT they have priced themselves out of the market with the new ships, and they go to awful ports. So we decided to try and find a new cruise line. We researched and thought Princess would be closest. I guess if you start at the top, its hard to come ...
Went to islands we had not been to before. The ship was clean and well managed. There is obviously a lot of Elite members now cruising. Laundry warning about extra time for turn around of returned clean clothes was the first clue.
Dining room food choices are getting smaller with lots of unknown dishes being presented. Sabatini's and Crown Grill were better food in general and service in both ...
The staff on princess cruise made my vacation the best vacation ever!!! Everyone was so attentive kind and very helpful. Anytime I needed directions they always knew how to direct me. The steward kept my room clean and even after it was cleaned and I took a nap my bed was later remade and of course I loved the chocolate left on my bed each night. The waiters were awesome as well making sure my ...
We had been happily anticipating our 10 Day Southern Caribbean Cruise, scheduled for March 27th on the Crown Princess. We had an entire year to look forward to it. We did do a 7 day Eastern over Thanksgiving, however, to break up the wait. You may be wondering why I mentioned this, well, you will soon find out just how this played into our cruise story.
FLIGHTS:
We booked our flights ...
We chose this cruise to better enjoy the best parts of the Caribbean, currently the southern part, and to specifically enjoy Bon Aire. We normally are all about Princess, but this cruise seemed off probably because many were at the contract's end.
The selection of food with variety was way below the standard for what I think Princess does, but there seems to be a large dichotomy across ships ...
