1. We sailed on Oceania Insignia last January, Miami to Cape Town. We did this because of the itinerary. While onboard we found this 2017 cruise and bought for the same reason. We will probably not sail with Oceania again.

This was a destination specific cruise.
Lecturer Mike Boll was fabulous giving histories of the countries visited.
All nationalities were onboard which was a great mix. Entertainment was average & the so called "pool deck party" was a real disappointment - lacked food, poor music selection & no ambience or time given in setup.

The itinerary on the cruise was excellent - a passage visiting Greece, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Oman and Dubai. Cairo was cut from the itinerary one day after the final payment date, which was a disappointment and some passengers felt a devious move.
