I chose this ship because the terminal was within driving distance. I took my brother on his first cruise. This was my 8th cruise, but the first on Carnival. We had a blast since we have fun regardless of situations. The service on this ship was nonexistent on the pool decks and in seating areas around the ship. I requested two twin beds in the cabin and this was not addressed before we boarded. ...
I chose this cruise because I was off for Spring Break and needed a refresh. I have been on other Carnival cruises so this wasn't a first time cruise. First off, there were no welcoming vibes at all on the ship. Some staff were friendly but most weren't. The highlights were the port day excursions. The down side was too many kids running in hallways and making lots of noise. This is pure misery ...
I am only writing this review to counter some of the "everything was terrible" people here. I sadly read a LOT of those reviews on everything from restaurants to movies to everything in between, and I honestly believe people enjoy complaining more than just relaxing and enjoying whatever activity they are involved in. Sad, but I guess that's the new world we live in.
As for the cruise, we ...
I will not do Carnival Valor again. When we first got on , I wiped down the table and desk and the towel was black. There were stains on the wall. Mona at the Blue Iquana was rude! Never went back there for a drink. Lovell was awesome at the Frog Bar but the other crew skipped right over you. Maybe you should find better bar staff. The food wasn’t that great and the ship is very overcrowded. The ...
We give this 2 stars an here why
1. The food was disgusting You had to wait in line for almost an hour to get your food .
2. The entertainment was very poor They had very few activities.
3. The drinks for water down and the can drinks for a flat! The alcohol was fantastic
4. Carnival valor we overcrowded they started to run out of food three days in to our cruise
5. There was no ...
We chose this cruise because of the ports as well as the embarkation port. The ports of call were fun, the tour with Jerry into Merida was so informative and had delicious food! Unfortunately besides Scarlett’s steakhouse on the ship that was the only food with any taste we had. Our cabin steward Ani was great but the dinner service was terrible. The whole boat needs a deep clean and the windows ...
We had a great time aboard the Carnival Valor! The ship was very clean and the service was excellent. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. There were tons of activities for everyone to enjoy. The ship was full, but did not feel overwhelming. The food lines could become long at peak times, but the staff worked hard to get everyone through quickly. The Carnival Hub app worked great for ...
We enjoyed the entire experience on the Valor. The food was good. The cabin service was Awesome, friendly and helpful. Our cabin steward Richard was great. Our excursion in Cozumel on the Twister boat ride to Passion Island was awesome. Over all the cruise was great and I would defiantly recommend Carnival (Valor) to to everyone. We bought the cheers package. The ship had all you can eat buffet, ...
First, the good things. My wife and I chose this cruise as a winter getaway. We generally prefer 7 day cruises but a 5 day trip departing from New Orleans looked like a good vacation. In addition we decided to stay in an oceanview cabin and it was a good value. The Valor staff were all hard working and courteous. Every employee we encountered did the best they could in their role to serve ...
This was my third Carnival cruise. We purchased faster to the fun; there was no priority boarding, our room was not ready at 12:30 when we got there, I called guest services three times for room issues with no answer, no priority line for excursion debarkation or embarkation, the f2f guest services line took longer than the regular line, no priority seating for dining, but there was priority ...
