Just got off the Disney Magic - it was truly a wonderful cruise for the whole family.
We reserved three staterooms for ourselves, 2 grandchildren and our daughter and son-in-law. The embarkation is a breeze through Disney's own terminal. Travel to and from the port was a 1.5 hour drive from our home in Central Florida.
The stop in Nassau was as expected as we had been there many times. Beautiful ...
Food
I read just about everywhere that the food on this cruise was excellent. I can tell you that it was better than an all-inclusive resort, but excellent is stretching it a little. Overall it was good with a couple of snags: Red Snapper - overcooked and dry. One night my wife and sister-in law ordered prime rib which was left untouched. I thought the dining experience in Animator's Palace was ...
First off let me say I love Disney. We are premium passholders so we thought if we love the parks so much we should try a cruise so I called their 800 number asked some questions. Told the guy I talked to that I wanted the boat that had the tube that went around the whole boat. He guaranteed me that the Disney magic was the correct ship. I even called with question and asked over and over again ...
My family just returned from a 4-night Disney Magic Bahamian Cruise and I am already in the process of booking my second Disney Cruise. Overall I am extremely impressed with everything and amazed at how organized and well-planned everything was. There was so much to do on board and my 3-year old loved the Oceaneer Club and Lab (kids clubs). She was visited by Mickey, Minnie, Peter Pan, Belle, and ...
Went on the Valentine's Day weekend cruise. We had a standard inside cabin, which was perfect for me and my husband. We didn't spend much time in the room, as there's so much to do on the ship. We took advantage of the adult only areas and activities onboard and also enjoyed the shows presented in the theater. Pirate night is fun. We appreciate the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff.

We loved the Disney Magic! What a beautiful ship and friendly staff. This was our second cruise, and our first cruise with our children along. We booked on an inside guarantee special and got two rooms next to each other on the 5th floor. The rooms were great, spacious, pretty and very well kept. The bed was surprisingly comfortable.
Embarkation was easy, and the people were very friendly and ...
Let me first begin in saying there is no such thing as a bad cruise. I know some will disagree with me, especially those on Carnival a couple of seasons ago, but for our family, vacationing on a cruise ship is the best way to go. Even to this day our discussions of vacations surround Cruise Ships.
We started this life style in March of 2001 on the Disney Magic. Since this was our first cruise ...
Just returned from a sailing on the Disney Magic on it's 3-night Bahamas itinerary (Port Canaveral - Nassau - Castaway Cay - Port Canaveral). The 3-night cruise is a nice introduction to someone new to cruising, it gives you a flavor but leaves you wanting more.
We had started our vacation at the Walt Disney World resort and took the cruiseline transfer to the port. This went without a hitch and ...
This was our first cruise ever, so we were new to everything. I did have pretty high expectations for the Disney cruise line, since I know several people who had gone on them and loved them.
Our first issue occurred the first day while at the pool/splash area. If you have a child not fully potty trained, please read. My 4 year old and 2 year wanted to swim as soon as they saw the swimming/splash ...
This was our second Disney Cruise, first was on the Disney Dream in October 2012 and, once again, Disney did not disappoint. The embarkation process was easy. Arrived at the port around 12:45, no waiting to check in and right on the ship! The rooms were not ready yet so we went to Carioca's for their lunch buffet. This was a much better plan than trying to fight the crowds up at Cabana's where the ...
