What a wonderful way to spend 12 nights!

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

Our Arctic Circle cruise was wonderful. We loved every minute of it. First, the ship itself is lovely. We're two older adults who enjoy fine dining, art and leisurely travel- so we had a perfect vacation. The waiters and stewards and everyone on the shop was just as kind as could be. The food- we had the Ultimate Meal Plan- was perfection. We ate in Chops almost every night. We tried ...

This trip consisted of two six night cruises back to back. The fist one did Costa Maya, Cozumel and Bimini. The second was the same except Nassau was substituted for Bimini. We had not been to Bimini so this was a treat as we have been to most ports of call in the Caribbean many times. It would be good to go there again and take a taxi into the town rather than going around to the various ...

Will never travel RCL again!

I would rather get a root canal then travel on this ship ever again or in fact any Royal ship. I felt it was worse than Carnival. Low budget with rude families that thought they were home in the ship's lounges - barefoot! No following the dress of the evening: Formal meant hats, shorts, no collared shirts and sneakers!!! No one said a word to these people from RCL! THIS WAS THE WORSE 6 DAY ...

This was my 4th Royal Caribbean Cruise but, my first with kids. I have only cruised with Royal Caribbean and have sailed on the Sovereign of the Seas (Sovereign Class Retired), Enchantment (Vision Class), and now the Jewel of the Seas (Radiance-class). The Jewel is a Radiance-class cruise ship and holds about 2500 passengers. This was my first cruise since 2015. We traveled to Miami to board ...

We chose this cruise at the last minute as I was suddenly given a week off. We were on a balcony on the deck eight, mid-ship. Some things about the cruise were due to Oh Fortuna such as calm seas, perfect and not humid weather and aside from a two hour delay leaving Antigua due to a passenger sustaining a broken ankle, all ran smoothly. The ship is very well laid out. There are eight ...

Need Better Mobility Accesd at Piers

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

We chose this cruise because it was one of Royal's smaller ships. My husband and I are elderly and didn't feel that we would be able to navigate a mega ship. Everything on the ship was great. Our only complaint deals with transportation on the piers. Since we are both mobility challenged (not requiring wheelchairs) we found it almost impossible to navigate the piers. Royal should provide ...

First cruise after COVID

Embarkation was easy, once you checked in on the app getting through the terminal was a breeze. Once onboard you went to your mustard station to check in, and that was quick and painless. The ship is smaller and does lack all the bells and whistles of the newer ships but those who still like the small ship feel this class is still great. The only issue was very slow service at bars and in the ...

I booked this trip whilst onboard Jewel OS in November. My hubby was working so this was a solo trip. Lovely cabin 7022 with oversized balcony - decent location. I love this ship and her sisters, perfect size and not popular with kids! The ship was spotless and in excellent shape (obviously six weeks offline were put to good use). I had a good time but there were a few differences than last ...

I have traveled on cruises for 30 years, on med priced and high priced lines. I have been on Oceania, Regent, Crystal, Silver Seas, Celebrity .This past trip was on Royal Caribbean and they need all the help they can come up with. The two biggest issues are food and lack of cruise Director. The quality of food served from fruit to meat makes one question where is quality control. I know ...

There is not Baby Splash Zone and weak entertainment at theatre

I chose this ship because I love Christmas. But There is not Baby Splash Zone....I saw older babies with swim diaper in the pool and men (lifesaver) don't complain about older babies that worn swim diaper. The lifesaver allowed these children in the pool. The salesperson from Royal Caribbean could advice before you take a decision for booking. I suggested you choose some ship that offer Baby ...
